Table of 5 - we all had an awsome time at Fanny Bay, even though my 11 yr old ate most of our raw oysters 😋. The food was great (not a dud in all the plates: baked oysters and 2 dozen raws were fresh and fantastic, brussels sprouts amazing, scallops with bacon wow), everyone was really chill and helpful, casual vibe, top-notch experience all around. Fantastic experience!

I had friends flying in from Calgary who really wanted cioppini so I started searching around restaurants as its not a dish I am familiar with. After google searching Fanny Bay came up as a location. I had been here before and loved it so I jumped on it right away. Best pick! My friends had a great time and absolutely loved the food. Great service also!

My friend and I have been buying and self-shucking oysters at Taylor Shellfish Farm on Chuckanut Drive south of Bellingham for several years. What a treat to be able to get their most splendid oysters already shucked and served right here in Vancouver! We'll be back.

Might be because of Dine Out and the menu was set, food was not very hot. We ordered cioppino, scallops and pork belly, and lobster bisque for the hot dishes. They all came luke warm. Service was just bringing by the drink, bringing the food and bringing the bill. Never saw the server otherwise.

Each course was delicious- enjoyed every bite. We ordered our maximum allotment of Fanny Bay oysters for the Dine Out- so fresh and flavourful! The lobster bisque included a good portion of lobster pieces, was an ample portion and tasted great- a bit of a kick. Scallops and pork belly entre was a hit. The Apple dessert was delicious. I highly recommend this Dine Out experience.

Overall food and service was good. Unfortunately we were seated beside a pair of Gen Z customers who did not know their inside voices was way too loud and annoying. I put the value as fair because we ordered a dozen oysters, 2 appetizers, and 1 entree with 2 glasses of wine and our bill was $160 before taxes and tip. If we ordered a second entree we would have been close to $200 which I think is a bit much.

It was a great experience and food was great! Brianne our server was friendly and knowledgeable and overall great! Thanks Bri! We had a fun night, we paired it with the Hondo sake, a great decision. The bisque was a bit salty for us otherwise all good!

We are visiting from Florida and traveling from Seattle to Vancouver. The oysters were the best and Tuna Tartar was excellent. Squid Ink pasta and Scallops with Pork Belly we worthy of ordering again and again. I can’t guarantee we won’t be back before tomorrow. The team is friendly.

Best and freshest oysters I have tasted and we have had oysters in many many places around the world… The pork belly and scallops with cauliflower/ carrots/ radicchio is scrumptious. The grilled octopus with pumpkin seeds served with cold chutney … again scrumptious. The apple torte ala mode… is friggn awesome. Service is excellent and great prices.
