   The food was solid. Nothing crazy, the pita was horrible though I must say. Other than that the food was good. The service was horrendous. Couldn’t get a waitress for so long then she just ignored our table the entire time.

   Food was great but service was awful, we were about ready to walk out before our orders were taken. When we checked in with the front desk, we were asked for our names and then no interaction or response after that for about 5 mins. They just stared at the iPad screen until someone else came over to ask if we've been checked in (why don't you ask your coworkers who are ignoring both of us?). I made my reservation for the Main Dining Room, and was sat in the Mezzanine on patio furniture. It was 20 mins before the busser brought us water, and 30 mins before we were acknowledged by a server, and it was when the server came that I realized the food and drink menus for the Mezzanine were restricted and not the same as the Main Dining, AND all of the seafood was sold out. Would have been nice to have known that 30 mins ago when were were sat incorrectly... We went ahead and put in our orders, and the food surprisingly came out in a reasonable time and was great (though one of the side orders was a bit cold). They started playing live music in the Main Dining area which would have been nice to watch if we were sat where I made our reservations. It then took forever for us to get our bill taken care of, in the meantime the couple across from us walked out before their food came. Terrible Valentines Day experience.

   Unfortunately, I was very disappointed and heard a lot of positive things about this restaurant. Feb 14 at 7pm and the first dish I wanted to order is out of stock. After that it was ok until we ordered a second round of drinks. It turned out that already at 8pm there is no prosecco. When we wanted to order dessert, we asked for the menu 3 times after another few minutes of waiting, the waiter came over and asked if we wanted dessert! It was too much for me and I asked for a check.

   Granted we went on Valentine’s day so expectations should be lowered but everything was super mediocre- the food, the service was extremely disjointed and slow. The space itself was beautiful but that’s about that. Won’t be going back.

   My friend and I came here for Restaurant Week. It is a great deal but if it wasn't for the Restaurant Week menu, it is quite pricey. The space with it's decor is beautiful. It is a big space with lots of plants, some nice art and it even has a disco ball. It has a very interesting menu. I had the Buratta and Heirloom Salad and my friend had the Spice Crusted Tuna, as appetizers. I loved my appetizer and my friend was very happy with hers. We both had the Lamb Tagine which was good. It was described as slow braised Apricot Lamb Shank, neither one of us got any hint of Apricot. However it did have Artichokes, Fennel, Olives, Peppers and Baby Potatoes which complimented the Lamb Shank beautifully. The presentation was interesting. We both had the Tiramisu for dessert. The flavor was on point and so was the presentation, however, the one setback was that it wasn't fully thawed out, making it a little hard in some parts and cold. I had a 50/50 Sazerac which was good and my friend had a mocktail, named The Eye of the Tiger, which she enjoyed. At the end of the meal we both got a shot of Mescal from the upstairs bar, on the house. They had a DJ but the music was more like in the background, possibly due to the din of all the conversations going on. The service is good, Gloria our waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the food came out quickly.

   Visited during restaurant week. The branzino was delicious! Steak was good but a little too salty. I found the cocktails a little underwhelming. Space is beautiful. I felt like I was on vacation somewhere in Mexico or South America. Overall, I would go back.

    Service is always poor. Food is good. Drinks are great. I waited 5 mins for a server to address us, 15 mins for a knife, 10 mins for the bill.

    My husband and I came across Fandi Matta about a year ago & loved it! So we suggested it for a friends bday get together yesterday . 10 of us went & we had an amazing time! The food & drinks were great but more so the service was perfect! They were very attentive, informative & nice! The place is beautiful you don’t even feel like you’re in Brooklyn! Highly recommend!!

    The food took 2 hours to come and some of it was cold. The food that did come warm was actually very good. The manager did a good job at handling the situation and comped the whole meal. The venue seems too big for how small the kitchen is so the food comes out extremely slowly.

    Waited over an hour to sit for a birthday dinner. I indicated who the birthday girl was as well because she is 6’3 and was wearing white. When we finally sat we were sat outside of the dining area next to the bathroom. I asked the manager to move us, but she wouldn’t. We ordered appetizers, half came and then we waited almost another hour for the remaining appetizers. We had to ask several times where the food was. The only time the waitress came over was as the entrees came out. We had to put in drinks and appetizers with other staff. The birthday girls drink order was even wrong at one point. As the entrees came out the waitress said the kitchen is closing. I pulled her aside and reiterated again that it’s my friends birthday and I wanted to have dessert and the staff sing to her just like they were doing with every other table at the restaurant. I asked if we could order coffee/dessert even if the kitchen was closed and the waitress said yes. I put in the birthday dessert to be a surprise and told her the rest of the table would order when it was time for dessert. After waiting some time, a server came over to two men at the table, dropped the dessert down, and went away. I looked to see where my waitress was and she was at someone else’s table singing happy birthday to them. She never came back to the table other than to give us the $1k bill. I am extremely irate because I had to wait an hour, sit almost in the bathroom, wait an hour for appetizers, get told the kitchen is closed, and missed the opportunity for my friend to get acknowledged on her birthday. The waitress also had the audacity to ring up someone else’s to go food on my bill! On top of that my friend asked for a substitution of fries instead of potato and told she wasn’t going to be charged, but the charge was still put on the bill. After dropping off the bill she left never to be found again as someone else took care of payment. I would like some form of action to resolve this massive mess.

    A very instagramable restaurant. The ambiance is amazing. You feel like you are in Cuba or Mexico on vacation. The food & drinks taste amazing; literally, everything on the menu we have tried has been delicious. I've been there twice for brunch already and they haven't disappointed. Service is fast and on point. They check on you often. We took lots of pictures and really enjoyed this place. The menu is a little pricey, but worth it. Price matches the value. Most definitely recommend it to everyone!

    First time visiting restaurant with a reservation..when we got there had to wait for a few for them to prepare table for 4. First table they gave us was very uncomfortable due to location within restaurant. I asked one of the other hostess if we can be placed somewhere else she was very accommodating spoke to manager and we were moved to a better table and given complimentary drinks The food was amazing and the vibe was great. Appreciated that the manager/owner? Checked on our table a few times. Will definitely return

    Make sure you have a reservation to make it a quicker process but even if you didn’t have one they are sure to seat you as soon as they can. The service was very attentive and I didn’t feel like I was forgotten about nor felt like I was being bombarded. Great experience, I am definitely coming back.

    Went there on a Friday night with my family after looking at the reviews. Left prematurely after 1 hour after waiting for food that never came. How is it difficult to bring some spreads with pita (that they charge 25$)? We managed to get a drink that was ok although they serve them in tiny glasses and they charge 15$. This place is a scam like many other pretentious places in Williamsburg.
