This was great place to eat. I had the brunch and I ordered the lobster omelette and it was so good!! Also has the key lime pie for dessert. It was very delicious. I would recommend this restaurant. We were going to the show at the Orpheum and it was perfect location.

We have dined here before and had a great experience. However when bringing new friends there last weekend, it was a different experience all together. Our reservation was at 5pm on a Saturday night. We picked this restaurant because it was walking distance to the Orpheum and we had tickets to the 7:30 show. We arrived on time and were seated, there were three other occupied tables in the dining room. The waitress came over and gave us water and asked if we wanted a drink menu. We replied "YES". The waitress didn't return for 27 minutes, and I know this because I timed it. My reaction was to leave, but my new guests opted to wait it out. When the waitress returned, she acted like it was her first time at our table! I reminded her that we were waiting on a drink menu, and she said someone else was supposed to bring it. Never the less, the drink menu never arrived. We just drank the water on the table. WE gambled, and placed our order and waited another 37 minutes for 75% of it to arrive. One of our guests got her food out when we were already finished! The waitress never brought out lemon as requested. The service was just POOR!!! all the way around. This was highly disappointing especially since we had brought friends for the first time. On another note, the food once it arrived was still good. We will not be returning any time soon.

2nd time here. Food and service has been excellent both visits. Manager Ronnie also very nice - he’s actively involved on-floor with service staff. Rare thing to see these days. Nice job Ronnie and Team!

Staff amazing!!! The manager was visible at all times and interacted with all guests. Ambiance was nice. Great location for visitors from the hotels. The menu could use some more items to appeal to more people.

It was great. From the moment we valeted the car until we left, everything was perfect. The hostesses were very nice, our waitress was helpful and sweet, the food came out in an orderly manner (hot & delicious), and the owner/manager stopped by our table to check on us. The drinks were very good. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. We will be back.

Requested regular table & was seated @ high-top, underneath an AC vent with cold air blowing directly on us. Requested new table or turn air off with manager. No luck. Had to ask our server for new table & she obliged. Long wait time for food. Food was ok not great. Overall experience poor. Won’t be back.

we had a 6:00 pm reservation before a 7:30 Orpheum show. service was speedy, so this worked out perfectly. especially enjoyed the small fancy from the raw bar with oysters, crab claws and shrimp.

We had a pleasant meal. The raw oysters from PEI were the best thing on the menu. Other than that, the food was good, but not outstanding. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant, though very quiet on a Sunday night. We will return to enjoy more oysters.

The waitress Kimberly was exceptional and provided solid recommendations. Many of the menu items are ala cart but everything was delicious. The manager stopped by to check on our service...very professional. They offer valet parking which was very convenient. I would definitely go back when I am in the area.

Went here for dinner because the menu looked promising and was a short walk from our hotel. Came back a second night because it was so good. Outstanding food and very outstanding service from our server Yalaris.

I visited this restaurant 4 months ago and it was great. I recently came and everthing was different the menu and service. Not to mention I came drove 5 hrs just to get a steak I previously had before and to find out they didn't even serve steak any more.

I really wanted to love Fancy’s. The setting is awesome with a great patio & views. The tone for our dinner was set when the hostess couldn’t find our reservation. Our waitress was friendly…when we saw her. Drinks took over 20 minutes to make it from the bar. The food was very slow to arrive, but was pretty good. Prices were a bit steep for what we received. The grouper fingers were mostly breading. Salmon and shrimp were above average. Lots of potential but too inconsistent for the price & service.

Went for brunch. They were out of bread. Eggs on eggs benedict were hard boiled and hollandaise was congealed. The rim of the mimosa glass was so sticky I couldn't drink out of it. This place has great potential. The facility and view are amazing!!! Hostess was great and server was good. Menu was nice for brunch. Food execution just needs to be reviewed. This place should be standing room only...just needs a little help.

While we were seated quickly and enjoyed the ambiance, we encountered some fairly basic issues with our experience despite the restaurant being relatively quiet that evening. Drink refills weren't quick in coming and even a simple order of bottled water took several minutes to arrive. The menu didn't disclose key information, such as that sandwiches came with fries that can't be substituted and how shareable the a la carte sides are. While our appetizers were fairly quickly delivered, our entrees took almost half an hour to arrive, and even after we were finished, we had to wait almost 15 minutes for our check. The quality of the food was good, but not quite up to par with the price (save for the cocktails, which were excellent). We would quite enjoy this restaurant if they fixed their process issues

The ambience was great! The food was not so much. The drinks were great but the food lacked flavor and seasoning. It was really “blah” the only item we purchased that we liked were the Rockerfeller oysters.

I have always enjoyed dining at Fancy's. Our visit last weekend was good but not up to the previous meals. The new menu is almost all seafood and is not as creative ad previous menus. Our service by Mary was EXCEPTIONAL! She made our evening. Cocktails were delicious! Appetizers of fresh oysters, catfish sliders, and grouper fingers all yummy. The redfish was good, but a nit underseasoned.The stuffed cod was ok. The sides of rice a d Brussels were very good. Key lime pie was good, not made in house and was still mostly frozen. I have always looked forward to returning to Fancy's but not after this last visit. Perhaps to see Mary!

Outdoor dining was awesome. Really amazing to eat dinner and watch the sunset on the Mississippi. Our waitress, Paige, was phenomenal. She had a great attitude and was highly knowledgeable of the menu.

This was my first time at Fancy's and it was recommended by an out-of-town classmate visiting me who was staying downtown. I am so glad she found this restaurant which I will come back to! Dori was a delightful and informed server. Valet parking was great and needed. The food was great at a good value.

My husband and I sat on the patio next to the trolley tracks over looking the river. The atmosphere was peaceful as we watched the runners pass by on the path next to the trolley tracks. I got the cucumber basil martini and the smashed avocado toast. The martini was a refreshing summer cocktail, and the avocado toast was delicious with its hint of spice. Overall, it was a wonderful Sunday experience and we will be back!
