When I arrived at Famous Dave’s and told them I had a reservation the hostess put her head down on the counter and said I hate that they use open table! We do not accept reservations and we do not honor those. She then said that the wait would be approximately an hour. We left and will not be returning. I sent an email to the restaurant I have heard nothing. It is going on 4 days.

We recently hosted my husband’s surprise retirement party at Famous Dave’s with a group of 25 people, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely wonderful. A huge shoutout to the manager, Tabitha, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She worked closely with me to plan the event, ensuring that everything went smoothly and that we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail and dedication truly made the night special. Our servers were equally amazing—attentive, friendly, and always making sure our guests were taken care of. They handled our large group effortlessly, and everyone felt welcome and well-served. The food was delicious, and the value was incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the barbecue and sides! Everything was served hot and fresh, and there was plenty to go around. Overall, the party was a huge success, and I am so grateful to the entire team at Famous Dave’s for making it a memorable and stress-free evening. I highly recommend them for any special event—you won’t be disappointed!

We have not been to famous Dave's in about 10 years. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. There were six of us. We all loved everything we got and love the drink specials.. We will definitely be back soon!!

Everything was great except when two young ladies with small children were seated nearby! The baby would not stop screaming and Mom couldn’t and didn’t do anything. My wife and I couldn’t take it anymore!

Today the service was horrible. Took at least 20 minutes after I was seated and I still had to ask someone to come and take my order. Once I got my food, had to wait another five minutes for the items that were missing. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with white meat and the chicken seamed to be cut in a way that the breast was almost unrecognizable. Just a bad experience all around this time. I’ve gone other times and the food and service were great. The manager Scott that I’ve met there previously is really awesome and has things running smoothly when he’s there.
