This is a counter-serve (shack) location, but we have plenty of seating. Our authentic BBQ starts in a live-wood smoker stoked with genuine hickory logs. Our pitmasters hand-rub the meats with a custom blend of spices and cook for hours to extract the natural flavors. We source the highest quality meats and trim them up like we’re in a competition and hand-rub them with the freshest seasonings available to create mouthwatering experiences! I have no idea why this restaurant appears on Open Table. It is a restaurant where you order at the counter and then grab a table. We showed up for our reservation at 7:15 pm and were told that they had stopped serving customers even though their closing time was 10pm. They stated they were “maxed out” for the day and could no longer support serving anymore customers. Disappointed and will no longer support Famous Dave’s restaurants. Many other alternatives.

Please stop allowing your system to book reservations for a restaurant that does not accept reservations. We made reservations for Father’s Day and were told on arrival they don’t accept reservations. STOP IT! It seems a very simple thing to either remove the location or block the reservations. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth that the great food and service cannot repair.

I called to inform that we would be about 10 minutes late. They told me that would not be a problem. Once there, we had about a 3 to 5 minute wait to order our food. We chose a booth. They had a bucket of water to wipe down the table and booth seats before we sat, which I assumed had a disinfectant in the solution. Wait for our food was about 7 to 10 minutes. The food was delicious and plentiful. I took my dessert with me that I thoroughly enjoyed that night and as brunch the next day.

The staff was very nice, and I was actually happy to see that this is more self service where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. Other than that, my brisket and chopped pork were only lukewarm. I know that BBQ isn't cooked when you order it, however I was hoping for a hot meal.

The Staff was every friendly and attentive The food was good as well Manager came out to check on us to make sure everything was as we expected Staff cleaned and disinfected the tables and chairs after each customer left and tagged it

Did not realize this was a order at the counter restaurant. Employees were yelling back and forth at each other (work related but unprofessional nonetheless). No paper towels at wash station. Food was not cooked all the way through. Would not return.
