Our authentic BBQ starts in a live-wood smoker stoked with genuine hickory logs. Our pitmasters hand-rub the meats with a custom blend of spices and cook for hours to extract the natural flavors. The side salad and corn bread muffins were good, but they were out of the special (I forget what it was) and out of baked potatoes at 6:30 on a Saturday night. My ribs were over-cooked and tough and the menus were sticky. Not very many people there. Really no need to make a reservation.Is this helpful?

So disappointed in our experience. We made sure we made it clear it was a birthday. When we arrived they seemed surprised we had a reservation but found it. When they went to seat us their were 4 large groups in one area with lots of kids so we asked to sit in another area that was wide open and she told us the table we were at had the most fun server! NOT the case. Chris famous for his V-8 as he put it was horrible and rude and we barely saw him. He seemed ok until we ordered alcoholic beverages then the typical Utah judgment kicked in and he could care less if we were there. No mention of the birthday celebration and quickly brought us a check to get us out of his area. Sadly we will never step foot in this place again. We used to go all the time for birthdays they always made it fun. We seemed like a thorn in Chris’s shoe and he couldn’t get rid of us fast enough.Is this helpful?
