   Kelly is the best waitress there we always ask for her she is friendly and fast at her job

   My first visit to a Dave’s. Menu had a great variety. Enjoyed a lunch special or brunt tips and bbq chicken. Very tasty. Service was fast and excellent.

   The sides portion sure have got small. The Wilbur beans you only get like 5 spoon fulls now. It's bad when you have pictures on the wall of what the portion size used to be, and when you actually get them, they are half the size they used to be. But the food was good as usual.

   Our server was a very nice older lady, but it was clear that she didn't have a lot of experience. On the other hand, we have been going to this exact restaurant since it opened and so much has changed for the worse. I am talking about over 13 years of going to this Famous Dave's! Well over 100 visits, but over the last year or 2, they have consistently gotten away from what made them successful! I judged all BBQ places by this exact Famous Dave's! What is wrong? The spicey mac and cheese is absolutely subpar now! Watery and tasteless, The ribs had zero texture to them like the boiled the meat to soften it up but they also had zero flavor. My nachos were ok but I don't go there for nachos and it was $13.99 and it was a very small portion for that price. The cup my soda came it had to be from the opening of the restaurant... it was filthy looking and all sorts of dingy to it! Lastly, the restaurant itself had all of the wall fixings removed that once were its hallmarks and showed life through the last 100 years, a very cool place indeed. The prices for BBQ in general have skyrocketed but paying for a shell of a BBQ place is just shameful! I guess that's why there were 3 tables occupied when we got there at 2pm on a Saturday?

   We added ourselves to the waitlist 30 mins before coming in (no reservations available) and when we arrived the hostess was missing. When she did arrive from the back I mentioned the waitlist but it seemed like she had no clue what I was talking about. (Odd) We got sat in the dining room where only three other tables were seated/dining. Our first observation was that there appeared to be no staff any where for what seemed to be about 10 mins (never saw a manager). Then we heard singing in the kitchen and it was clear the birthday song was for a staff member to which after cake was done we were greeted. (All for culture but who’s driving the ship?) Admittedly our server was very sweet, and we tipped over 20%, but the devils in the details. For example, the clock in the Dining Room was wrong (not sure if that’s purposeful) and the lightbulb had to be unscrewed so we could see each other across the booth.. (server laughed and acknowledged that most guests complain about it) Take all of that aside, (which we did since we eat out very frequently) and the main reason we visited was for the food - which I am sad to say didn’t meet our expectations. This could have been an off night, but something tells me the reason your store is empty on a weekend night has something to do with either declining food quality or slipping service standards.. which we experienced both. (My chili app was lukewarm and tasted sweeter than usual and my chicken was ice cold) Positives - still open for business in what is arguably the toughest time for restaurants; Angela was very sweet; lemonade was awesome.

   Seated immediately and was greated within 1-minute by server. She took our order & had drinks within 2-mins and food within 10. We had a FEAST for 2-3 people and it was perfectly cooked and HOT. Fantastic Experience

   My sister and I took my uncle to famous Dave’s for his birthday. We had such a great time. The service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and very kind to us throughout our entire dinner. Thank you for such great service.

   The St. Louis ribs were the most tender ribs. I’ve eaten anywhere, even other famous Dave’s in Pennsylvania several years ago this one in Las Vegas on blue diamond. What’s the tax
