Very good on all points. I would recommend friends who are looking for BBQ in or near Alameda. Host forgot to acknowledge our reservation so we were not credited with our patronage.

So over rated the only thing that had a good taste was the ribs everything else was pretty tasteless

Late night dinner for 14 people at Famous Dave's was a bit rushed but overall we all rated it a good level of food, presentations, ambiance with a very good level for our waiter. BBQ ribs, sandwiches, and burgers were the choices we made and all were at the good level.

The food was great, but our hostess attempted to seat 6 people around 2 round tables, which was awkward. We ended up in a booth that fit the 6 of us snugly. Being that we had a reservation, I was a little surprised that the table was not ready for us when we arrived. It felt very thrown together. Our server was nice, but wasn’t as attentive as we would have liked. I understand it was Father’s Day so it was kind of expected.

Great service. Great sauces. Attractive dining room with great TVs. But. Terrible beer selection, terrible corn bread muffin, dry brisket and when the food arrived, everything was a different temperature. Piping hot beans, barely warm brisket, cold mashed potatoes. I was really looking forward to this but won’t be back. There are too many better options.
