Good service, good food, great value
Ribs were tender and tasty
No knife or extra sauce necessary
It was a good casual place. We went during restaurant week and had the salmon and the ribs. Both were good, the sides were okay. Probably won't go back because the price seemed a bit high for how much we enjoyed the meal.
Service was excellent we did not feel rushed. Egg rolls were a great appetizer enough to share. Fried chicken sandwich was very good as well as the burger. Great selection.
At first glance you could think this place is "just" a sports bar. The food and service, however, are a serious step ahead of the standard fare pub food. The ribs were as good as any I have had and my wife agreed (she is VERY picky when it comes to ribs). The Southwestern Spring rolls were also excellent. Great flavor without any greasy taste. Service was high level steakhouse quality. Even the Mac and Cheese was good (rare for a restaurant). Highly recommended. Oh and lots of TVs to watch sports on...
The first time we went here in June the food was AMAZING, EVERYTHING was so good. We actually talked about the dinner for a while, it was that good. So of course we got the same items this time LOL.
Southwest egg rolls (super salty)
Full rack of ribs (way overpowering with the sauce)
Mac & cheese (this was good)
Salmon with cilantro rice and garlic broccoli (salmon was fishy and welldone) the broccoli was just okay and the rice was horrible, very dried out)
Unfortunately this time NOTHING was the same. We were very disappointed.
Oh the dessert was okay. But the cost certainly was did not match the food.
What I think bothered us a lot was the fact that the waiter(s) could see that we didn't eat any of it and they never said anything. They just looked at the full plates and took them away. That is really poor customer service. But we did leave a nice tip because we felt that it was management's responsible to check on the food and the customers.
Sadly I doubt we will go back again.
Food and service were great!
Manager Matt was very friendly and server Kate was very attentive.
Music and general noise level were a little loud.
We have been very loyal guests. However, we ordered one burger medium rare and one medium +. Both were served well done.
It appears there is an issue in the kitchen with consistency.
Service the past two out of three times dining with you has been a poor guest experience.
We left last evening completely underwhelmed and know there are many other choices to dine.
Great food/ Really good service. Lots of food/good value . Lots of tvs. Great sports bar.
It's a sports bar type of ambiance.
It was a fun night with great friends. Allison was amazing!
Prime Rib Dinner was phenomenal. Fawn, our waitress, was phenomenal. We will definitely be back. A neighborhood gem.
I had the French dip sandwich and it was great, my friends enjoyed their burgers and fries. The wings were also delicious. We all felt the deviled eggs and Caesar salad were just okay. Service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
Me and my fiancée ate there for the first time, and fell in love ! The south west chicken egg rolls were phenomenal!!! Service was great, and very clean place !
The food was so incredibly salty! Everything, the mashed potatoes, guacamole, salmon, even the pizza crust. Borderline inedible. We were tasting each other’s food to see if it was all that way, it was. I don’t like to complain so we took the food to go and tossed it. Def wouldn’t return.
The service and restaurant great, but my dinner was not good. Chicken wings incredibly dry and tasteless
This place has great food. We had the chicken and steak skewers and cornbread. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and it was a nice casual atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Great good service we love coming here always an amazing experience. Highly recommended.
Great except that no one was wearing masks. Not even employees
The prices were high for the quality of food they were serving.
Tables were too close together and dining room was crowded.
Service was slow.
Crowd wasn't diverse enough for me.
We have searched high and low to find a better prime rib in the east valley, without success yet again. 100 mile roundtrip from San Tan Valley and worth every mile. Best prime rib, outstanding service, most enjoyable vibe. We always find our way back to F48.
Excellent prime rib!
The Prime rib is a weekend special and it is outstanding!
We ate on a Sunday night, and didn’t find it loud at all. Our server was very friendly and the food was delicious. We went with our teenage boys so of course they loved all the TVs!!
This is a great location to watch a game on TV, and eat some good food with friends.
Great food and very attentive for most of the meal until they god slammed. By then we had our food, the Prime Rib was outstanding! Their creamed horseradish sauce Wes the best I have had in a very long time. We will be back
Everything from the deviled eggs, Caesar salad, onion rings was fantastic. We split the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and macncheese and we still had leftovers. 10 stars! The bourbon apple crisp was enough for 4... easy.
Our service was amongst the best!
They serve higher end bar food. Very tasty with rapid and attentive service. Seated right away with reservation. On a Tuesday evening at 7, the restaurant was about 40% full and the noise level was quite high. With the dining experience I scheduled a casual business dinner for this coming Friday but I am a little concerned about the noise level.
Our waitress was friendly and informative. The food came out quick! I loved that it was a sports bar with lots of TVs but quiet enough that you could still talk.
Booths are comfy! Prices and specials great!
Small restaurant that feels full with just a few patrons. The TVs were too loud making conversation with friends difficult. It was a Phoenix Suns NBA championship game so that may have been deliberate.
It was great! Went during the Suns playoff games, and of course there were loud fans. No problem from me! It added to the great vibes and great food.
We love Famous 48. Always fun for whatever brings us in..... dinner or sports viewing.
We have wanted to try this place for some time now and finally got around to it but unfortunately not being sports fans didn’t realize that the Suns playoff game was going on at the time. We almost left because it was so noisy and we were in the mood for a relaxing time but I’m glad we didn’t. The food was great. The ribs were literally fall off the bone tender and delicious. We will return sometime when it is less busy.
The food was absolutely delicious! Loved the seating with window view on one side as well as a good sized tv to watch the game on the other side. Our waitress was friendly and quick to tend to any drinks we needed or questions we had. There were other staff members as well who would stop by and check to make sure the food and drink were what we wanted. Will definitely go back
Great place to watch a game!
Great place for dining and drinks
Wanted to try something new for Father’s Day and was not disappointed! Everything we had was delicious from the prime rib dip, the salmon, the steak and chicken skewers and even the house salad was yummy! The 1/2 chicken was good but a little undercooked. Will definitely go back!
Food was very mediocre. Incredibly oversalted. Poorly plated. My mom said it used to be much better so don't know what happened
Enjoyed the patio seating and our server was great
Generous portions in this sports bar setting. Great happy hour pricing before 6:00 PM.
My Significant other and I always like trying new places to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. We truly enjoyed the restaurant and our experience! The bar tender was great and service was amazing food was tasty and drinks wonderful! We will be back!!
This our neighborhood joint! We went there last night and they've revamped the menu, which was good. I gave it great marks, but don't mistake this as fine dining, it's a burger place with a few good options for salads and dinner entrees. The patio is great here and if you want to watch a game, it's an excellent place to do so. The beer selection was fantastic, featuring all my fav local brewing companies. If you want a neighborhood cool, casual place, this is a good spot.
