recently visited The Brock for high tea, and while the setting was undeniably lovely with a gorgeous view and pleasant service, the overall experience left much to be desired. For the price, I was expecting a refined and memorable afternoon tea. Instead, the food felt more like creatively repurposed leftovers than thoughtfully prepared fare. While I can appreciate the intent behind reducing food waste, the execution missed the mark—what should have been a luxurious treat came across as underwhelming and even careless. The quality simply didn’t match the cost.

Our server Zlatko was great! He checked up on us quite frequently and made sure we were topped up. We were very satisfied of the service, and ambience. Not overly crowded and we were seated at the center which we have preferred to begin with. The only thing was the filthy glass that was kind of a bummer to look at 😂. And also, most of the food was delicious especially the Option 2: the beef were tender and flavorful, with the exception of the desserts. The only decent thing we had was the eclair. I don’t think it really was worth the price- I had higher expectations with the pastries. Otherwise in general it was still a great experience.

Disappointed in the food - both selection and quality is below the average for afternoontea. The view is great of course, so they don't care what is the quality of food served. Typical for Niagara Falls :(

Positives- The staff were lovely and very attentive, view was amazing too! The savoury food was tasty (particularly the deconstructed wellington - yum! The downside- for what we were charged it was definitely not value for money. The sweets were not as good as I’d hoped. The portions were small ( for example we were given half a mini eclair each!). Definitely not value for money, including taxes and tip we paid close to $300 US dollars for 4 of us. Open table has this advertised as $262 Canadian dollars and states this includes taxes and fees… it doesn’t so just be prepared to pay more. Not something we would do again but it’s an experience.

We went for the high tea for Mother's Day. The tea was very good. The view is really excellent. The staff were friendly, but not exceptional. The food was interesting, and generally nice, but not exceptional. For $63pp, plus tax, visitors tax and tip, the value for money isn't good. You're paying for a comfortable view of the falls. We choose this because one person in our party has mobility issues. I wouldn't do this again unless it was $30pp.. I think there's other ways to get a good view of the falls. The study and the parlour are two different menus I think. It was difficult to get ahold of anyone to confirm. But the menu at our table suggested 2 separate food offerings and we were not asked what we wanted. I did have to choose the study or the parlour when I booked, but no context was offered. There were not two separate rooms. I would have chosen the other menu. 3/4 people in our party were not able to eat the steak tartare, and there were 3 separate beef offerings on our selections, which is a bit much.

He had High Tea for Mother's Day. The view was spectacular and the ambience was great! Service was friendly, professional and attentive. The value was a bit steep, however, I prioritized the experience overall and would like to come back again to try their dinner menu in the future. We also appreciated the free parking since we were not official guests staying at the hotel.
