We paid $15 each for a window table, only to see the American waterfall with the Canadian waterfall obscured by a wall. Don't waste your money on a guarenteed window view. The food was inedible, tasteless and luke warm, with a very poor selection: Soup was described as - French Onion- i have never had it with vegetables and meat in it before Appetiser and mains was from the buffet. I had cold dry arancini balls with my descriptionless soup. The cold meats and cheese looked recycled and we did not try. The pasta was without flavour and the pizza floppy and cold. The salad bar was basic lettuce, cheese and carrot. You could not make a caesar salad from what was provided. The food in the heated area was luke warm and unappetising. The vegetables where flavourless and overcooked/boiled The only saving item was a single piece of beef (advertising shows other roasts) and shrimp and mussels. All still just warm. Dessert we did not try, as they were cold shoe pastries, doughnuts, slices and fruit. I watched a staff person replenishing the fruit, drop a utensil on the floor, wipe it down and put it on the plate. If at the weekend rate of CAD$59++pp this was the same price as a gourmet 3 course lunch at a local winery that day. Overall the worse meal i have paid for in a long time. It is sad that many people save to be at the Falls for a special occasion to be taken advantage off by this poor restaurant.. if you can call it that. In summary DONT GO.

Beautiful view of the falls if you reserve a falls view table. However, everyone in the party has to pay $15 to guarantee a falls view table and the tables are arranged where at least 1 person won’t see the falls when seated unless they turn their head around. The resto itself is very casual. Staff is very friendly and doing their best. Food was never fresh even though we had one of the earliest dinner seating. Everything was also already picked through and seemed like it hadn’t been refreshed since lunch service. Also took forever for empty dishes to be refreshed and we completely missed a proper dessert experience bc everything was either finished or only had crumbs left. After waiting 20 minutes to see if they’d refresh the dessert station we still ended up picking through the last bits of whatever was left. Then even when they eventually refreshed some of it, some of the items were still frozen inside (so it wasn’t even prepped for serving properly let alone baked fresh in their kitchen). We weren’t expecting much food-wise but the buffet could have at the very least been fresh and properly stocked.

Group reservations made the sitting area full. Walk in reservations were not easy to accommodate. Food is mediocre, but the view is outstanding. Service was ok.
