Our tasting counter and Champagne bar are in our working Smokehouse just up from the banks of the river Dochart. We share the same location as our sister business The Falls of Dochart Inn
Sample our artisan Whisky hot and cold smoked Salmon with a glass or two of Champagne or even better (yes it is possible) try our range of fruit Wines, from our chilled out friends at Cairn O'Mohr
We serve our own Falls of Dochart Gin and Sloe making use of the locally grown Tayberry. Our Whisky is a collaboration with Glen Turret Distillery .
Sample and Tasting plates featuring our Whisky Smoked hot and cold smoked salmon , Pate , Cheese with locally made chutneys, oatcakes and bread.
Dine inside beside our log fire or outside on our covered terrace. Limited covers so book early. We also take group bookings for up to 45 for parties and events
Your knowledgeable host will explain our Smoking process and chat to you about the River Tay system and Scottish Salmon.

The choice is really good but I usually have the Scottish Tapas - never disappoints. Friends we have taken have all been amazed at the quality of the hot smoked salmon. However, it would be even better if you'd fit a spring to the door before winter. (So many people have a habit of leaving it wide open!)

After standing at the door for 5 mins being ignored eventually server came over. No knowledge of booking exact words “nobody tells me anything, take a seat….” Promptly turned round and left

Great hot smoked and cold smoked salmon spread, with a glass or three of rose wine. Great personal service from a very busy lady who was having to serve loads of customers.

Received a very warm welcome. Smoking process briefly explained before making our choice. Went for the shared tasting platter. Superb!

What an amazing find. The food was amazing. Hot smoked salmon was the best I have ever had. All the food was great. Non-alcoholic elderflower wine was delicious too. A lovely stop. The service was lovely, really friendly. We even tried the house gin. Definitely recommended!

We both had hot and cold smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast which was outstanding. Would recommend adding a slice of nice buttered toast to this dish and serving with tea.

We had a lovely experience at the tasting counter, had a beautiful breakfast of salmon, eggs and a tasting board. This was prepared by the owner Ross he was excellent and told us about his smoked cheese and pate which was really interesting. We have visited Killin before and will definitely be back again to visit. Thanks Lauren & Keith
