Great music, great service, great food!
Excellent food as always, But beware prices have gone up around 30%... I think I would’ve preferred to know there was a Covid mark up ahead of time... Even an 8 ounce filet was around $63 whereas before it was 45 to 50.
The food was wonderful and the staff was really outstanding! The tables were well positioned for social distancing and we felt very safe at Fall Line. Wonderful evening and we will be back again and again!!
Poor service. Made to feel unwelcome with young child
Really enjoyed the food with some creative dishes and great service. Loved the ambiance too. Our first time there and will definitely go again.
Excellent service and food. Perfect dimmed lighting just as I like it. A little noisy, but it was a busy Friday night.
Creative menu with high quality food. I've heard they are converting to more of a steakhouse focused establishment. If the Steak Frites is any indication of the type of steak and chops they'll be serving then A+!!
Everything was great except there’s no distancing between tables. We were within 2 feet of the tables next to us and the place was packed.
This restaurant is taking zero steps to promote social distancing. Every table in the restaurant is being used and the space between us and neighboring tables was under 3ft.
Fall Line does not follow any Covid guidelines. My table was less than three feet from the table on both sides. People were packed into bar there was absolutely no social distancing between people. Hopefully I don't get sick!
The grilled cheese and tomato soup was delicious!
First the good news: They were open during Mud Season. That's about all I can say. The food was below average, with the lobster roll being especially bad. It's also overpriced, even for Vail.
As for dining during COVID, this is not the place. We showed up early and were seating with not too many people around, but by the time we finished, it was a normal packed restaurant. The table next to us was 2ft. away at best and there was plenty of other space in an empty part of the restaurant. Just seems like something that could have easily been avoided, but was poorly managed.
You are making a mistake if you can't find a better option than this place.
When in Vail check them out! Squash soup was great and the mussels were delicious. The grilled cheese was nothing special but fun atmosphere and nice bar, definitely yes!
Unfortunately this was our worst experience in Vail. This place is super cozy and adorable. I am a very laid back customer as my husband and I have both waited tables. I rarely get frustrated but this service was some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Rooms forever to even put in drink orders and food took over 50 minutes to get our food. We arrived at 7:15, saw server around 7:35, ordered around 745 and food arrived at 8:35. Approximate capacity was probably 30% so they weren’t even busy. Server was very lackadaisical and never once apologized for the terrible service. Two out of four of us were celebrating our birthday dinner and we all walked out super disappointed by this event! We started asking around town, and seemed to be well known for similar complaints
Amazing. Great food and margs. Had lunch and dinner there. Love it.
We had a horrible experience at fall Line. The service was absolutely awful. The manager was rude. It took 40 minutes to get our drinks. Not one person in our party finished their entree because the food was gross. Only thing we enjoyed was a cheese board. Overall a huge waste of money for mediocre food and some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I would never eat here again.
Fall Line Kitchen and Cocktails paved the way for our after-ride meal. The cheese plate paired with Prosecco was fantastic, and enough cheese, fruit, and crackers for at least 2, maybe even 4. Waiting for arrival of main entree was longer than anticipated with bison burger and fries excellent and half-chicken good but spicy. The noise level on the patio was driven by pedestrians on cobble-stone traffic and live music at bar across the way. Excellent, attentive service. Clean restrooms.
Some discomfort with lack of 6 foot physical distancing with table arrangements and bar overflow that restricted easy access to restroom.
Food was mediocre and lacked flavor. Not sure if I’d recommend this restaurant. The service however was outstanding.
Where to begin? Amazing food, drinks, and service. If you want to try cool funky cocktails, this is the place for you!
Cheese plate was terrific, autumn squash soup and fried Brussels sprouts are to die for!
Great value as well for central Vail. Will definitely return soon.
Service is extremely slow. They lack personnel to attend the customers . One of our plates came cold. Probably a nice cocktail/ happy hour place but to avoid if you look for a decent place for dinner
Poor service, and at adjacent table the other guests were actually screaming at top of their lungs. Never again.
Food was in-eatable and Staff were Rude
Poor service. Average food. Noisy. Otherwise, good atmosphere.
Tables were well spaced and included outside seating options. All servers wore masks. Good food and service.
The atmosphere was really great. Got to listen to the live music next door. They were short a server so our service wasn’t great that night, but I’m hopeful it’s not that way all the time.
Excellent. Don’t miss it.
Great spot in Vail Village with many good selections on the menu. Great list of craft cocktails as well. nice ambiance and modern feel.
That's great feedback for us. We really appreciate it and hope to see you soon! - Ian
Fall Line Kitchen had the friendliest staff and the food was delicious! My husband ordered the grilled cheese and I got the Salmon. The perfect lunch during our visit in Vail! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone!
Thank you, Nikki! Those 5 Star reviews are awesome. We hope to see you soon! - Ian
The food and beverages are outstanding! Such a great place!! Service is fabulous!!
We had a great experience and can't wait to return. The olives were served warm in a cast iron bowl; delicious. The cheese plate was the best I have tasted and included local honey. We also felt safe with wait staff wearing masks. We recommend 100%
Steak and Frites were very good, steak was so tender!! We sat on the balcony and listened to live music across the way at Pepi's. Server was nice and attentive. Prices were expensive, but in line with everywhere else around.
We sat out on the back patio and enjoyed a wonderful lunch or enjoyed the view. Food was fantastic service even better
Dinner at Fall Line was great... the new menu was superb and the bar service fantastic! We will be back, hopefully sooner than later!
Thanks, Stacy! We hope we get to see you sooner as well! - Ian
Great food! Bison burger was amazing and the lamb wrap delicious.
We're so glad you had a good time! Thanks, Karen!
Great food and service. Fantastic location in Vail Village. Reasonably priced for Vail!
Thanks so much! We hope you'll come back soon! - Ian
Great outdoor eating and people watching
Waiter was exceptional
I'm so glad you had a great time! Who was your server? I'll let them know that you gave a great review. - Ian
We went to dinner here last night as we had dined here a few years ago and thought the food was decent. Unfortunately last night the food was not up to par. Our apps (cheese board and marinated olives) were tasty but the main course (lobster roll & steak frites) was not good. The fries were way over salted, the steak was chewy and the lobster roll was mainly bread. It was not your traditional lobster roll with mayo but had a side of melted butter to dip it in. Had it not been for the patio seating & live music we got to hear next door it would have been even less enjoyable.
Thanks so much for your review. I'd love to discuss this with you further. Please feel free to contact me at ian(at)falllinevail(dotcom).
The caviar was amazing and we loved the pairing with tater tots.
I'm so glad you loved our caviar! We'll have plenty more for your next visit. - Ian
Food was delicious and quickly served; we sat outside at tables in front of Gorsuch for social distancing. Can't comment on the ambience inside the restaurant as a result. The chocolate earl grey pudding was lovely.
Thanks, Francine! I'm glad you had such a good experience. I'd love to know what we could do better to get that 5th star! -Ian
We opted to sit outside with umbrellas and it was beautiful. Great food. Pleasant servers. Felt safe during COVID.
What a nice review to read. Thanks so much! We really hope to see you soon! -Ian
