Food was okay. Service was very slow. I would not recommend.
Wednesday's is the best day to go...Live Jazz
Great service. Great food.
We realized afterwards that we paid for a squash/artichoke salad but were given greens with cucumbers. Otherwise would've given more stars. Very nice for a special occasion or business meeting.
Simply put, I can't wait to come back. The plates are for sharing and large enough to get decent portions. The staff was lovely.
The food was really delicious! While we like the atmosphere and decor, it was a bit noisy to easily carry on a conversation. They serve small plates, family style, and the server recommended 10-15 plates for our party of five. We ordered 10, but would have been fine with eight. Sometimes the service was slow, and they seemed to forget to bring serving utensils each time they brought out new food dishes. But overall, we had a lovely time, and truly enjoyed the food.
My husband took me here for brunch for my birthday! It was fabulous and perfect! The food was amazing!
we enjoy the ambiance, the food and the extensive selection of the bar. typically the service varies from good to excellent.
It was very nice overall experience. Food was excellent. Seating was a little close to others for my liking however the entire ambiance was perfect.
We did not expect to have such a great meal. Food was delicious. Pre-show.service was prompt and efficient. Deviled eggs, artichoke salad and oxtail agnolottti were especially good. Save room for dessert. The hazelnut chocolate dessert was beautiful and decadent. The panna cotta was light and original. Cocktails were inventive and tasty. Bartender invents mocktails (not on menu); try one and be pleasantly surprised. We will return!
Amazing as always! Much obliged Faith and Flower for a wonderful experience.
This was our second time at Faith & Flower for special occasion dinners and we were not disappointed. Terrific tasting and varied types of dishes in our group of 6 so everybody got something they wanted. Excellent dining experience.
The perfect brunch place! Amazing food and amazing cocktails... what more do you need ?
Very pretty and tasty food
Excellent DTLA spot
I think the service is among the best in LA. The food was super, but expensive for what it is. Still, I’d recommend.
I have always (3x) been a bit disappointed here, but not tonight. Fas t but attentive service so that we could get to the Clippers game; interesting vegetable sides (ordered for speed). Great waiter who got things delivered ASAP.
Friend told me about this place which is a few blocks away from Staples center in DTLA. Restaurant has valet so no parking hassles and we were seated very promptly.
It was very early and the owner/manager of the restaurant actually came out to greet us personally and recommended a few starters which were all delicious. My favorite was the tempura green beans and the spicy kimchi deviled eggs. I am asian and I love kimchi so that one may not be for everyone. For the main, I had the trout which was cooked perfectly and the skin was very crispy without being burned.
We wrapped up around 7pm and the placed was completely packed so probably a good idea to reserve.
Nice restaurant. Oysters were outstanding.
Nice place for Sunday brunch. Great food, trendy place.
Everything about this restaurant was lovely. My go-to for lunch. Can't wait to add this to my dinner list.
The menu is rather unique. The kale salad was excellent.
phenomenal service from the moment we walked in. waiter, sommelier, greeter, table staff all incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. we took recommendations on wine and food, and this was one of the best meals i've had in LA. the lobster pasta, the tartare and the Lebanese red were particular highlights. all suggestions of the staff.
We visited this restaurant to accommodate a gluten free member of our party. For those of us not limited in diet, this was an excellent meal and service was great. This location had been rated on another website as accommodating gluten free, but for our guest who was seeking those options, the menu was not clear on which options were safest. The waitress was very helpful in identifying the options though and there were plenty of choices. The fryer is cross used so that was one issue for the accommodation that was disappointing... however given the proximity to downtown, ambiance and food options, it was still an excellent location for a business lunch. One issue that almost caused us to reconsider this restaurant was the risk of a $55 per person charge for cancellation on OpenTable. Fortunately, we made our reservation and this was not an issue - but this is an extremely high cost for a lunch reservation. The restaurant was not filled to capacity so it seemed very punitive to have this fee associated.
Faith and Flower delivered an excellent meal with both flair and creativity. The cocktails and food both "hit the spot."
The space has an amazing feel, and the staff were exceptional in their care and attentiveness. GIven that so many of the staff were so exceptional, it made the slow and careless manner of our waiter a glaring exeption to an otherwise flawless evening. If it had been a training course in how not to perform as a waiter, it could not have been better. Nearly 20 minutes elapsed from seating until the first appearance of a waiter, without apology and with attitude.
The food, the staff and the cocktails won the day despite the waiter's "best" efforts
Food and service was phenomenal. Drinks were also very good.
Don't trust the sommelier!
We are moving out of town and wanted to go out with friends to say goodbye.
The place is gorgeous! Modern meets vintage meets quirky. The menu is novel and interesting, with some really good dishes (do try the devilled eggs!). Nothing we've tried was bad but some ideas are less successful than others so ask your waitstaff what's good. They are sweet and friendly.
The downside was the sommelier. We're all wine literate, but with a diversity of dishes ordered we wanted advice. He came up with a great first bottle, but when we wanted more, it turned out it was the last he had. So he said "Trust me". But no: nothing like the previous bottle - too big, too dry, too tannin-y. And his response was "sometimes I just have to tell the ladies to have a cosmo".
So: do your homework- look at the wine list ahead of time and do some research so you don't have to rely on his judgement.
Lovely place. Food is served tapas/ family style for sharing. We order about 4 items and dessert. Excellent service. Server gave great recommendations and was knowledgeable about the menu.
Food was not worth the money. Drinks were excellent. Waiters were nice, but it took 45mins to bring a med cooked steak. Service was very slow even when it wasn’t busy.
The food was a feast both to the eyes and to the palate. Erica was an extraordinary server. I wish the same could be said for the aggressive guy who also waited on us.
Exceptional service, food and atmosphere! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Lunch- Roasted Turkey BLT is amazing!
Dinner- Oxtail (my friend said) was perfection!
A very different dining experience with an intriguing menus options. Food is served family style and meant to be shared. With just two of us the pear/kale salad and a pizza were more than enough! Can't wait to go back with another couple and explore more of the menue!
We went to Faith and Flower for a business dinner. The food and wines were superb. Our Sommelier directed us to a couple of fantastic wines to compliment our dinner. Ask to be seated in the back of the restaurant if you are looking for a more quiet atmosphere. The space is interestingly eclectic and delightful.
This was my second time here and my friends and I greatly enjoyed everything. The food this time was not as great as the first time around and a little cold by the time we received it. The cocktails were excellent and presentation of everything was also solid.
I was honestly slightly disappointed.
Not recommended for a special occasion dinner.
I came here for my one year anniversary, and was hoping that the reserved seats would be somewhere more romantic, intimate & good for private conversation. We came 15 minutes early to make sure our seating would be nice.
Instead we were seated almost less than 10 inches away from the table next to us both sides, and we could hear their conversations and ours. I was almost tempted to make a fuss and as to re-seat us, which I should have. I saw other couples seated in a larger two-person table in a booth, which was much more appealing, and seeming since I made this reservation 2 weeks ahead.
We got the tempera fried green beans (delicious), the lobster pasta (Delicious), and the pizza (delicious), including a last minute order of brussel sprouts (just ok almost slightly singed) but everything felt a bit heavy for my empty stomach.
I'll mention the vodka milk on a brighter note which was amazing, kudos to the award-winning drink ($16)
Also I forgot to mention, as soon as our first plate got to our table, the management asked us to move one table over (10 inches away) since there was going to be a party of 8 sitting next to us. They were merging the seats of the tables that were going to be empty soon.
It was kinda pricey for the overall experience & food.
Portions were okay.
We ended up storming out, without even taking a picture because it wasn't really worth the money we spent there.
Good architecture, no bad foods
Our waiter, food and cocktails were excellent! You must try the deviled eggs appetizer and their classic, award winning, Milk Punch cocktail....awesomeness 😎
Beautiful elegant decor. Very classic 20s style furniture. Excellent food. Friendly staff impeccable service
Beautiful restaurant, great decor!!!! The bar is lovely. We loved the deviled eggs (with sirachha!!) and the mushroom pasta. Everything looked amazing. Our waiter was very attentive. Our hostess was helpful with our disabled guest. We will be back.
