Faith & Flower
What Insiders Are Saying
Faith & Flower is a Financial District restaurant where everything is over the top, but done right. Use it for pretty much anything, from date night to dinner with your boss. And whatever you do, get a cocktail or two.
Faith & Flower is a stunningly beautiful restaurant. It is clear that particular attention was placed on getting the aesthetics just right. It is also obvious that the owner and staff understand what it takes to create an exceptional dining experience. Our Server Shiva was a delight, navigating the balance between affable and professional beautifully. Our Sommelier Chanel was incredibly knowledgeable and suggested a pairing that was spot on. She clearly employed her thoughtful understanding of the menu and of the nuances inherent in each wine in making very informed wine pairing suggestions. The staff is attentive but not overly obtrusive. Faith & Flower is made for memorable dining experiences.
Food was amazing, thank you for the birthday dessert!
Inventive menu and great presentation with flavorful sauces and other preparations. Outstanding drink menu. More gluten-free options would be great for diners that gluten-related allergies. The server was exceedingly conscientious about food allergies and potential cross-contamination, which we found to be highly reassuring.
Very cool place. Great atmosphere and knowledable barstaff
The food was great and our server, Nikki, was absolutely wonderful.
Very loud! And very 80s in ambiance
Great restaurant. The beet and citrus salad was amazing.
It was more crowded than I expected on a Sunday evening. I wasn't a huge fan of the table set up (it's one of those restaurants that seats customers elbow-to-elbow), and the service was slow (empty water glass for ~10 minutes), but the food did taste pretty good.
Absolutely wonderful experience here. It is a pricier brunch spot, but we were celebrating a special occasion and we felt it was worth it for the food and drinks we got! The English milk punch cocktail was such a unique drink—I was skeptical at first but it was so tasty that I’m sold on it now. Best panna cotta desert I’ve ever had — such a nice mix of flavor and texture between the panna cotta, granita, and fruit. The goat cheesecake and all of our normal brunch food was good too, but those were the best.
We had a lovely meal! Wonderful in every respect.
This place was great! food and service were on point.
Our party of 10 had a wonderful time! The food was great and our waitress (and others) kept us very happy!
Somellier was very knowledgeble and helped us pick a great bottle of wine. The food was uniquely delicious. A wonderful experience.
The food was very good but the portions were kind of small!
One of my favorite restaurants in downtown area great ambience and I love the decor in the theme of the 20’s.
The food was all amazing. We ordered citrus and beets salad, Jidori chicken breast and red wine braised short rib. All of them are great.
The 4 piece band bashing away in the dining room made it impossible to talk with my table mates...or the waiter for that matter. Pretty miserable. Good chef though.
Wonderful food! Our waitress was wonderful. Over priced in my opinion. At times some of the other staff was trying to take food I was still eating without asking
Overall it’s good
Food was average. Gnocchi was mostly tomatoes with 5 only gnocchi in it. Sea bass was dry and over cooked. Mushroom risotto was good. Overall disappointing as we heard great things - vale for price was poor imo
The food and service was outstanding. The Venice drink we ordered was one of the best I’ve had in Los Angeles. Lemon cake was also delicious and the Mushroom risotto was splendid.
The absolute best beet and avocado salad, and summer-oriented pizza was delicious too!
My boyfriend and I were visiting from Boston and came on a recommendation - it may have been the best dining experience of our lives. The food and drinks were amazing, and our server Peter was attentive, charismatic, and made sure we had an unforgettably fun evening!
I had asked for a good seat/table! They put me at the worst in front of the bar! They did not respect what we selected for. If the price in a better place was more expensive, no problem! It was my birthday and I ordered for a nice seat , unfortunately they did not observe this.
What an amazing restaurant! I am in LA 4 times a year for business and have explored many downtown restaurants within walking distance of the Westin Bonaventure and this is the finest so far. The atmosphere was quiet but definitely not dead, so that we could actually hear ourselves talk. The server was very knowledgeable as was the sommelier, who gave us a lot of her time despite us ordering from the low end of the wine list. The food was presented as shareable and it was all delectable. Taste is so personal, I won’t go into the food, but trust me, you will find something that appeals. My group has every intention of returning!
Really good Paella
Love it- the food is great . But the presentation could be better.
This place is magical! We made reservations for a 10:30am brunch ona Sunday and were seated immediately when we arrived. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is outstanding! We order the Hollandaise breakfast pizza, arugula salad and the French toast.
I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Augustine was our waiter, he was so nice and very attentive. We enjoyed our first experience-will definitely be back!!
We had an absolutely wonderful time dining out on the patio. Food was great service wonderful, and the experience was one of our great memories from our time in California. Highly recommend!
Our meal was delicious. The service was outstanding.
A dining experience.
We had a birthday party at Faith and Flower and it could not have been better! We were so happy with our experience. The restaurant is gorgeous, their customer service is AMAZING, and the food and drinks are fantastic. I’d highly recommend this place!
The host stopped in the middle of taking us to our table to talk to exiting patrons. We found this very rude. We stood in the middle of the restaurant as he spoke with the exiting guests and or table was NEXT to theirs. He SHOULD have seated us and then said goodby to valued patreons. AND our waiter mentioned a drink costing less...the one he was recommending...and it was 3 DANG dollars less. WTH?!! I have had dinner at F&F before and NEVER had such treatment. NEVER. Wow. Just wow.
We’ve eaten here before and it has been really fun, easy, and comfortable, but this experience was not good. We waited a half-hour for our drinks to come out and service did not get much faster from there. The food was good and the sever was friendly enough, but we felt unimportant.
Great service and tasteful food
This place took me by surprise! The Little Gem Salad and Greek Yogurt dessert are the best!! The cocktails are also super good and worth every penny- get the Cabernet! I really liked the idea of repurposing old books as menus and the story behind the restaurant. We were lucky enough that our waiter took the time to tell us a little about the restaurant which was an added touch to the romantic atmosphere.
The food was excellent and perfect for sharing
The food was fishy and bland. Our waiter second guessed our responses & wasn’t courteous. Too crowded and noisy!
Faith and Flower is the only restaurant where I literally savor each bite of food no matter what I order. Always delicious!
Greeting friendly and immediately wished us Happy Anniversary. Greeted by server right away. All servers extremely friendly and professional. Our server explained that plate sharing is encouraged which we enjoy. All plates were delicious and creatively plated. We ordered a bottle of wine from our server and a few minutes later the Sommelier came to our table. She said she just wanted to meet us because we ordered her favorite wine from the Loire Valley France. She spent a few minutes discussing her plans to study in France and our recent trip to Bordeaux France. Lovely experience all evening!
One of the best dining experiences we have ever had!
