Faith & Flower
What Insiders Are Saying
Faith & Flower is a Financial District restaurant where everything is over the top, but done right. Use it for pretty much anything, from date night to dinner with your boss. And whatever you do, get a cocktail or two.
Elric experience... great food and service! Highly recommend!
Dine in LA
The food was good, nothing memorable. The dining room and patio are very nice. Worth trying once.
Excellent service wonderful food. Can’t wait to go back!
Wagyu tataki and bananas foster are a pyro's dream and delicious to boot.
Everything was great!!! but we realized once we got home that we never received our deviled eggs and don’t know if we were charged or not
We were seated in the worst possible table in the restaurant, by the door. It's a windy night, everytime someone opens the door, cold wind blow on our food and on us. Made dinner very miserable. When we first asked to be seated somewhere else, they took us to a 2 people table that was side by side with a couple of other 2 people tables. The couple sitting next to us HAD to sit together side by side in the booth (mind you the tables were already spaced out very narrowly). Instead of asking the couple to sit properly (face to face), they just told us the seat is tight and basically we have no choice.
Loved it so much we went back 2 nights later! The ambiance in this restaurant is just as amazing as the food. The whole fish is cooked perfectly ands flavorful. The potatoes are heavenly. And the cocktails are amazing and creative. We had amazing servers both times and sat at the bar. Hands down one of my new favorite spots.
The food was good and the service was excellent. But the restaurant was a too noisy for us, the tables too close together and the music was loud and seemed inappropriate for dinner time. For this type of restaurant and prices, I want it a little quieter and romantic and less hectic so I can enjoy the food.
Delicious food, amazing service, great ambiance, beautiful decor. What a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion!
We frequently enjoy F & F for lunches but this was a great experience at dinner. Our waiter Gilberto took special interest in our reactions as long term customers, making sure to send the wine steward (who was personable and knowledgeable) and the manager. We enjoyed both entrees (pork chop and lamb chops—truly excellent!!). The music volume is our only complaint but some tables are a bit out of the “high volume” zone.
Wonderful spot in DTLA.
Went before a Lakers game. Food was delicious. Service was good. Very elegant and warm atmosphere. Lovely overall experience.
A little noisy, but simply beautiful place and impeccable service. The food was amazing.
The food was amazing! Overall experience was great. The only minor criticism is that the staff mentioned that the restaurant was family style however the tables are a bit too small to handle sharing of a few plates at the same time. We ended up having to play Tetris with the plates. That's the only minor thing, the food was out of this world and the service was stellar
Food was wonderful, fresh, well presented and very well prepared. Service was attentive without being overbearing. We had a wonderful brunch and look forward to returning for dinner.
They were flexible with our large group - I was able to add 2 people to our party of 6 the day before our reservation with no issue. Not all the items we ordered were standouts, but quite a few of them were. Our favorites were hte mushroom risotto, the oxtail agnolotti, the braised short rib, a tortellini pasta that was stuffed with some sort of spicy meat (I vaguely recall maybe it was duck?), the tempura fried green beans. The sommelier's wine recommendations were excellent! Dessert wise -the panna cotta was good and the apple galette. Bananas foster was a 3rd place...skip the chocolate tart.
Food and presentation was great, tapas portion sizing were pretty big. Our server was nice just not as attentive as I was hoping he would be. The service from kitchen to the table was a little slow. Ambiance was great. The most frustrating thing was I had a reservation for my birthday and our group still had to wait 25 mins for our table to be ready. Highly suggest the English milk punch drink!!
Everything was delicious and we had the best server was AMAZING!
Just waaayyy too expensive. I had a group of 7 and the total came to $690 without tip!!
I really love the look and feel of this restaurant. The menu (which is within old books -- which is an awesome touch) is a little limited if you're a vegetarian, but the food that I could have was excellent. The only problem I had was the noise. Even though I was just with one other person, we struggled to hear each other speak across the table. I don't know what could be done for that problem, though. It is what it is. Overall, I enjoyed my experience very much. The milk punch drink kind of makes up for any of the problems I had!
We enjoyed everything about Faith & Flower, the food, the wine, the atmosphere. Our server was brand new but she did a great of getting information she did not have. We'll be back.
My 2nd time at Faith and I had a great birthday celebration 🎉 I'll keep coming back to this place. The servers are superb always attentive and always asking for all you need👍👍👍
I was really disappointed. This place came highly recommended and I was shocked by the blatant rudeness and disrespect from the wait staff. My fiancé and I aren’t super fancy people, however we love great food and are willing to spare the expense for it.
We went into Faith & Flower after over a dozen recommendations, were dressed nice but causal, it’s a Friday night and I work in healthcare. I just wanted to have a nice date.
Throughout the whole experience, we were treated as if we didn’t belong, as if this was something we couldn’t afford and as if we were just a burden.
Also, their menu on Open Table and on Yelp aren’t the same as in the restaurant. And the presence they create on Yelp and Open Table aren’t accurate. This place isn’t as fancy as they wish.
Truly a horrible experience and I won’t be recommending this place nor returning.
Great restaurant. Love the decor. Food was great. Quiet enough to talk
Food & ambiance was amazing. Extensive menu and the food came out great. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience the best.
Too salty and waiter wierd
The service was amazing as well as the food.
Good food! Chef Michael Hung always makes sure the food comes out great :)
Another wonderful experience from beginning to end on a Friday night! The hostess, server, server trainee, and manager were professional, friendly, and a delight to talk with. Can’t wait to dine here again!
Great time and great food! Loved the cocktails
What a beautiful place!!! I don't even know where to start. Maybe with the last, the dessert? To make it clear, the attractiveness definitely does not end (see later) with the interior, which is such a well-designed combination of "old-fashioned" style elements with a very modern touch. Just lovin' it!!! And it extends to the table setup with so much detail, including the menus which are bound into existing books (no comment about the library selection as such), heavy glass chalices, beautiful plates, etc ... and even the bathrooms are just as one would hope to see in a classy place.
If there had not been the deadline of the Lakers game, I could have stayed there for an eternity longer. The waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and fully supportive of the slightly faster than usual pace.
There were many menu choices and definitely a reason to come back. The food - served to share - was delicious, not excessively creative/experimental but very sound and reliable combinations of texture and flavors, beautifully arranged, very tasty, and in the right spiciness. Kanpachi Ceviche with chips, Persimmon and Chicory Salad with Serrano Ham, Pomegranates and Toasted Hazelnuts as appetizers, followed by a delectable Valencian Seafood Paella in combination with Wood Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts with pickled mustard seeds (left out the bacon from the vinegrette) ...... yuuuummmmmy!
Following my routine of a strong aromatic double expresso, the coronation unquestionablly was the dessert with a Greek Yogurt Panna Cotta with seasonal fruit, puffed wild rice, honey and Yuzu granita: good thing this came at the end because I was literally blown away, it was soo good!!!

Fantastic end to our holiday in LA
$100 per plate for NY eve for sample serving fixed menu was ridiculous. I was never informed when I made the reservation that it was a fixed menu. Had I known I would not have selected F&F.
We went to enjoy their NYE tasting menu and it was lavish and amazing!
We had high hopes for a really nice dinner but the waitstaff was so rude and arrogant it ruined our night. We have had meals in fine restaurants all over the world and this place had more attitude than The Jules Verne in The Eiffel Tower. The manager was kind and hoped to make up for the rude behavior of the staff. I would never recommend this place.
Excellent recommendations from the waitress for lunch items - tuna carpaccio and the crispy Brussels sprouts. Idaho trout, oxtail agnolotti and mushroom and burrata pizza were the entrees we ordered. All were very good. Desserts were also outstanding.
The restaurant seemed understaffed. REceived minimal attention for a $275 meal for 2. Food was mediocre at best. Lamb overcooked. Flavors underwhelming. The only thing we ordered I'd recommend are the oysters --- and those are oysters.
I really enjoyed the food here. great place to brunch with Friends!
Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service!
Everything was just ok
