Faith & Flower is a contemporary Los Angeles restaurant located in the WaterMarke Tower in DTLA’s South Park district. The restaurant’s name pays homage to the two major renaissance periods—the 1920s and modern day—that have fundamentally shaped the Downtown Los Angeles community, with “Flower” referring to the street on which the restaurant lies today, and “Faith” for the street’s alleged name during the early 1920s.

What Insiders Are Saying

The Infatuation

Faith & Flower is a Financial District restaurant where everything is over the top, but done right. Use it for pretty much anything, from date night to dinner with your boss. And whatever you do, get a cocktail or two.

Ratings 7.5-8.0:These are restaurants that are reliable, tasty, and particularly good for whatever we have deemed them “Perfect For.” Hit up a 7.7 for Date Night with confidence, as long as you don’t need the restaurant to be the most interesting thing that happens that night.

Love this place. It's a beautiful restaurant. I much prefer the brunch over the dinner, just because it's a little more quiet. Went to dinner and it was very hard to have a conversation. That said, the food is always outstanding.

The service was on par, our waiter knew the menu and made good recommendations. The ambiance resembled that of a 40s style restaurant. The menu inside of a book was a nice touch.

The food was prepared as we had ordered and came out when it was ready.

Great service and fine food. Their idea is that food be ordered to share, and our waiter urged us to tell him our individual favorites, which we did for the two of us, and then he suggested a way to make it work. It did. For this level of service and cuisine, the place was a relative bargain. The only downside: on a packed Saturday night, it was loud in the room, and that took the edge off our enjoyment.

We had an exceptional night at Faith & Flower. The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The menu is designed to have the dishes shared. We ordered 3 mains and some sides for a group of 4 people and it was just right.

Our waiter was friendly and had great suggestions and he brought over a gentleman who helped his pick out a bottle of wine... he was super knowledgeable on the wines and where they come from...

It was the first time my husband was there, and he really enjoyed it.

Over all amazing nite!

I went on Valentines day with my girlfriend. No Valentines atmosphere what so ever. The set menu was $79. There were 5 choices for a starter and entree. The starters were adequate. We both had the Salmon for the dinner. I thought the portion was very small. The taste was good overall. The dessert was a chocolate fondue. It came with some sliced bananas, apples and pinapples. It was really cheaply prepared. Looked like something you would though together at the last minute. This meal should have been about $29 not $79.

We were not expecting that a Valentine dinner would be such a good experience. There were enough choices for each of us to pick something we liked and were very happy with. I had the salad and it was a wonderful taste experience. It was big enough to share so I did not finish so there was room for more. My husband loved his gnocchi. We both ordered the steak with puree potatoes - the combination of the two melded so well. We were recommended an Italian white wine that we never heard of and were very impressed with the unique tastes. The fondue dessert was good but not something I would order on its own. All in all the dinner was one of our favorites. Thank you

The staff was perfect and truly went out of there way to make our anniversary a special occasion. The managers all came over to congratulate us on our big day. We had our first date, four years ago, at Faith and Flower... years later we love them just as much as we love each other! Thanks for the special memories!!!!

We picked it from Open Table just because we were going to a show a few blocks from there. Absolutely loved it. We don't get downtown much, but when we do this will be out spot. Service was great, music was great, nice wine and cocktail list and, oh boy, the food was spectacular. Highly recommend the trout and broccollini.

The service and food was good. White wine was served al almost room temperate initially but on our second order I requested they ensure it’s more chilled and they obliged. Friendly and attentive staff. The drinks seemed a little expense for what you got but we will return again.....

Faith and Flower is one of the best overall restaurants in DTLA. Easily in the top 5! Elegant and stylish in ambiance, with easy parking (valet and self), one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the city, excellent bar with extensive wine and whiskey selection. Their small plate format works very well, with superb individual dishes like the JIdori eggs, oxtail agnolotti, jerk chicken, gem lettuce salad, among our favorites. The waiters were over the top with colorful explanations of the food and extremely courteous care and great teamwork. They even had champagne and whiskey carts wheeled through for extra, during our meal! Highest recommendation!
