Faith & Flower
What Insiders Are Saying
Faith & Flower is a Financial District restaurant where everything is over the top, but done right. Use it for pretty much anything, from date night to dinner with your boss. And whatever you do, get a cocktail or two.
Service was one of the worst possible we had to wait more than 30 minutes to get our drinks and one hour to get a salad the waiter was condescending and then ignored us
Food was less than mediocre
Extremely noisy which made conversation almost impossible
The food is inconsistent. Atmosphere and service are great.
Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best meals I’ve experienced.
The food was great, the service was optimal, and I would definitely go back. ESPECIALLY for those cocktails.
Good night overall. Drinks were better than the food. And I didn’t get the pop music.
Faith and Flower never disappoints! A refreshed menu and wine list and we are good to go for another year of visiting this place. BTW Jared is a great SOMM!
Super delicious. The tempura green beans on the happy hour menu are to die for!!!
Great atmosphere had to wait for dinner as the first portion the chef was not happy with so other party members ate before me they did bring out after 10 mins a different starter. While I was still waiting for my main course had two wait long for my drinks too
LOS ANGELES LOCATION
Hard to track down the waiter despite there not being many people there at the time.
Served 2 starters before ever getting drinks.
Zero horseradish in the short rib cream.
Deviled eggs, oysters, and crab gnocchi were just okay
Beet salad was the best thing we ordered.
Way too pricey given all of this—unsure what the hype is about.
Unlikely to return given all of the other amazing eateries in LA
Monday evening was very busy. We were seated around 6.00pm but were not able to order for over 45 minutes. Too loud for a business discussion. This place is very popular, but service should be better at this price point.
The Faith & Flower team went above and beyond to help me celebrate my husband's birthday. They designed a custom old fashioned flight based on his favorite whiskies and flavors. They made us feel so important and cared for. Not to mention, the dessert was INCREDIBLE.
Good experience. This is the 2nd time I’ve been here. The food was mediocre in comparison to some other places. Could have been what we ordered to share as well. Overall great atmosphere
Had a great dinner with friends from NY who enjoyed the total Faith and Flower experience!!!
The food was good the band was cookin’... what more could u ask for...
This place was truly a 5 Star experience! Our sever was excellent, the cuisine was top notch, as were the cocktails. The best surprise of all was the live music that we loved!
Always love going to Faith and Flower. Best milk punch and steak tartar in LA. Ambience is beautiful. Staff is always warm.
In my reservation, I added the note for a table in somewhat quiet area since it's a business lunch, but we were seated right behind the hostess desk. We requested to move the table that ended up being in the middle of the dining area. Also one of the table was unstable so that one of our cusomers fixed it by himself as waiters seemed to be busy. The service quality is not so sophisticated (vs. the price we pay).
Went to the 5yr celebration and had the prix fixed menu. The food offered by the guest chefs was disappointing. I prefer the restaurant’s usual menu. The spoiler for the night was the shrieking, probably intoxicated women a few tables away. Our waiter seemed apologetic and even commented that we could scream too if we wanted. We did scream, only in order to hear each other speak.
It was okay
It was a great ambiance and great service. The food was really good. The only thing is that they did not have oysters that day but that was my luck thats how it works with fresh seafood. However they gave us dessert on the house. Very good place. Love it
The GM was wonderful and very attentive! Thank you, Anthony!
Food was fantastic and the ambience was really nice; however the overall cost was surprisingly high. I'd reconsider going again for a full meal given that 3 items are necessary to feel full - maybe just a drink and a dessert.
Made reservations for 8:30pm on my birthday. There was no point, my party of 6 was there on time however we were not seated until 9pm. We had to flag down the waiter just to get our water glasses refilled. Ordered 12 oz steak, which was mostly fat, we couldn’t eat it. The mushroom risotto was good but very salty we couldn’t finish that either. This was my second time dining at Faith & Flower and it will be my last. If you want something just as nice but better try Perch.
This was my first visit. Turned out to be a great choice. Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, enjoyed the food, top shelf bar. The place was buzzin’ hard at 10pm! This is a top choice in its category for DTLA spots.
Location was convenient to LA Live and Staples Center. Contrary to some reviews, we found the service to be very attentive. The area with the row of tables was extremely noisy once the restaurant became busy. We were warned that most of the entrees were small, but we ended up ordering the large entrees. However, the server informed of this, which allowed us not to over order. These entrees were very filling, so we didn't get to taste many of the other options. Starter was excellent. Main entrees were good, but not earth shattering. Will come back when we have time to try some of the smaller dishes and dessert, which looked interesting.
Went out to dinner before a concert. Food was amazing - beautiful presentation. Cocktails were also amazing. Great place to dine
Peter, our server was fantastic. Great recommendations! Love the deviled eggs
Crab toast 👌🏽
Crispy tea egg 👌🏽
Oxtail Agnolotti 👌🏽
Short rib 👌🏽
Service impeccable and live music perfect.
Great atmosphere... wonderful food and service... amazing wine list... and live Jazz on Wednesday nights!
We went there for dinner.
We were 3 girls who loves drinks!
The drinks and cocktails are amazing here and service is fantastic every-time. There was live music too
The waiter was not friendly she hardly came around it mainly looked like she wanted us to leave. The buss boy was the person who asked how we were doing and offered more coffee. She also offered us tap water. The place is beautiful the service was horrible.
The food was outstanding, but the service was lacking. I'll give them some leeway since they were dealing with the pre-concert rush, but being 2 blocks from Staples Center, they should be better prepared.
I was really excited to have a night out with my Mom before a show at Staples and from the pictures and menu this place looked great. Walking in-- it's awesome- the look, the decor, the tableware, was beautiful. And upon meeting our server, thought he was going to be quite attentive--cause he knew we were going to the show. Had reservation and got seated at 615. Show started at 8. But that did not prove to be the case. It took awhile to get our order in, drinks took long, and the food was so delayed that I asked to just change our order to pizza so we can take it to go. Food was fresh and good-- but not worth the long wait. And then the check was messed up and had to wait for the changes. Overall, just ruined the evening-- cause we had to rush to the show and got there just before he came on stage. Overall super disappointed. Would not recommend this to anyone who is wanting to get food before a show. Might just be good for drinks when you don't have to be somewhere at a certain time.
This is a beautiful restaurant conveniently located near the Staples Center and other entertainment venues. The level of service we received was good, but somewhat on the slow-side. More concerning was that Faith & Flower’s (flavorful) food is served in astonishingly small portions! My spouse and I both ordered pasta dishes and were shocked at how minuscule they both were - more like small appetizers than entrees. We also started with an opah fish starter that was even smaller still - four small shavings of fish. I suppose their intention is to have diners purchase multiple entrees, but at these prices we found the restaurant to be a rather poor value. We left hungry even after sharing a dessert. I don’t believe we’ll be returning.
A++ excellent food, stellar service. I did spend $17.58 on 1 drink, which was pretty insane.
The music was a bit too loud, but other than that it was great. Also the long bank of seating , needs to be re-stuffed. It sinks too much to allow for comfortable seating during meal time.
Food was amazing.
Our server was amazing.
Would definitely come back.
It was wonderful! Great service, ambiance and food!
Came here for girl’s night while in LA. I loved the atmosphere with the plants and lighting and our round booth table. The food was awesome for sharing, friendly and knowledgeable service and then we had an absinthe vapor experience. It was a great time and I will be back! I recommend everyone check it out!
Amazing place for first date
