Faith & Flower
What Insiders Are Saying
Faith & Flower is a Financial District restaurant where everything is over the top, but done right. Use it for pretty much anything, from date night to dinner with your boss. And whatever you do, get a cocktail or two.
Loved this place
The location and interior of this place is great. Visually pretty. Staff are nice if, at times, a bit slow. Food was bad, however, considering price. Value/quality/cost is off.
I ordered the salad with the truffle vinaigrette dressing because I love truffles. It was so overwhelming (too much truffle) that I was literally left burping up truffle all day. It was also drenched in oil and not the least bit healthy. I paid $15 for a salad and did not finish it bc it was that unpalatable. Unfortunate. I have been here for happy hour and it’s a good spot but wouldn’t bank on having a great meal. Good drinks, good HH ambiance and nice staff but that’s about it.
Service was very slow but was a busy night. Charging for bread and another random “kitchen fee” was outrageous. Some food choices were excellent others were terrible but for such a pricey place I was expecting most food to be amazing.
Friendly attentive staff! Food was great and the manager Anthony, sever Jenna and chemmy the host all made us feel welcome. I am extremely allergic to fish and seafood and they took this very seriously and made me feel confident on the food I was ordering was safe. This will be my new regular spot!
I got there first with a baby and stroller and immediately, they were looking for a table the would best accommodate us. The food was fantastic and our server was super friendly. We were there celebrating double birthdays and the waitress generously brought us two full desserts to celebrate. Couldn’t have asked for better service and experience.
Very knowledgeable & nice waiter. The host was so sweet & accommodating while we waiting for our table. Food was so great. Drinks stole my heart.
Elegant, relaxed setting. The service was excellent. We all enjoyed the savory margarita pizza and the refreshing taste and textures of the summer squash & artichoke salad. The flank steak and vegetables were delicious, as was the fried chicken sandwich with seasoned French fries. Save room for the chocolate bomb dessert, or the seasonal sorbets!
We have Sunday brunch there.
Very comfortable place for dining with friends or family. Nice elegant deco.
A little pricey as expected as it is located in downtown LA.
Very nice! Love the punch. The Heirloom tomato salad was good as well as the Devil Eggs. I was disappointed in the Salmon entree because it was just a pice of salmon on a plate with nothing else. Really boring.
One dish very good. But rest just ok. Not worth the hype. Excellent service though and great ambience!
Only downside was the refusal to break up the check between couples.
Situated in the heart of DTLA, this busy restaurant has great atmosphere. First time here and was here for my birthday dinner! The server was great!
Great spot something for everyone - salad items were super fresh - felt almost farm to table. Loved the fried green beans and ceviche - shared apps.
I liked this place a lot the first time. In my two subsequent visits both the service and food have been unexceptional. And it is noisy. Normal dinner conversation isn't possible unless one shouts. I wanted it to be more fun - but who wants to fight to have fun - especially in with average food and service. The bar is fun if you're just looking for a drink - but I'd walk away after that and find a smaller, more sophisticated niche place.
It was a little loud, but also very busy. I'm sure there may be other parts of the restaurant that are quieter and more intimate.
Food was very tasty but small portioned and over priced. But the tone was set with the server’s dismissive attitude when we asked about menu items that deviated from his script.
We loved everything! The flavors in the cauliflower steak and jidori chicken dishes were absolutely incredible. The drinks were made perfectly. None of the spices were overwhelming, or lacking. The space is beautiful and we will absolutely be back. Great experience.
Our server was incredible. He made just the right recommendations for our dinner choices and all of the food was over the top delicious.
Can't wait to go back and try some of the other delicious sounding dishes.
Service & food were amazing! I would go back to try the other foods.
Lovely evening - wonderful sharing menu - would highly recommend
We will return however service was not attentive ( forgot our water order n forgot our order for salt); drinks way way over priced ( $18 for a simple margarita!). I suggested they do happy hour drink pricing all day/night; other successful restaurants do it and are always busy ( ie: volume).
Lovely aesthetics & great food. Wonderful host.
Really lovely restaurant. Sweet hostess and wonderful ambiance. The food was delicious! I was able to turn the veggie pizza vegan as well as the squash salad. My fiancé came in particular for a few items on the menu that ended up not being on the menu after all (nothing out of season in that sense) If you are really interested in something in specific your best bet would be calling just to make sure it’s still on the menu at the moment. Would really like to come back during the day time! Thank you for your hospitality
Food was great and ambiance was amazing.
My girlfriend loved the ambience and dining experience
Great food, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, kids friendly but at the same time quite luxurious for the adults (we were two families with kids in the age from 6-12 visiting). Amazing evening. Thank you.
Faith & Flower was Fabulous. The food, service, and ambiance were excellent.
Happy hour at the bar... Bryan was a great bartender mixed up some amazing cocktails and made great recommendations for drinks and snacks! Very cool space and vibe
Server could improve. Our server has no smile on her face. And lack of serve when we need refill.
Wonderful dinner - food, service, ambiance superb. Highly recommend the sea bass, ceviche and Beverly Hills Martini!
This trendy spot downtown was busy, but accessible. There was an obvious emphasis on design and ambiance, but the result was a bit too noisy and cluttered for my taste. Even for fine dining, I found some of the portions to be small, and as such, a bit overpriced. It was also 100% a la carte , so as to maximize revenue. It was good, and carefully plated, though. I wouldn’t return, unless someone else would pick up the hefty bill.
The restaurant was beautiful, the food was amazing and the service was great! I will definitely eat here again!!
The food and atmosphere are good. What I'm unhappy about is my friend bought me a birthday cake and the restaurant charged 5 dollars for each piece of cake cut, seriously??? And they also charged a 3% kitchen fee in the bill...
Had the best time. Amazing service, excellent food. Seating outdoora and indoors bought really nice.
The service at the table was good but the kitchen was very slow!
Everything we ordered was delicious. Discussing the food on our way home, there would be dish that one would say was not their favorite, and inevitably someone else would say they loved. So there is something for everyone!
The best part of this place is the food. For ambiance, service - look elsewhere.
A terrific meal with the LA Dining and very good service and atomosphere
Love the appetizers and desserts. One of our main course for the NY steak is not as good as I thought it would be. The combination of steak and mini scallops is not my favorite. But overall, we had a pleasant night. Wine selection is broad. Our wine server was really friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciate the service!
