   We used to love this restaurant but the last few visits has really been a let down. We kept saying maybe it was an off night and we’ll give them another try but, no more. The apps were decent, the bread was burnt, my chicken dish was dry, my husband liked his steak and the cake was stale. And why are their napkins always wet!? Sorry guys, we tried but there are too many other options out there to spend the kind of money we do to be disappointed.

   Everything was perfect Filet mignon was prepared exactly how I like it! Shrimp were colossal in the shrimp Cocktail Crab cakes were delicious and dessert was so good We even bought 2 pieces of cake to go! We were meeting friends after dinner and gave them the cake! They couldn’t wait to try it! We LOVE the fact that we bring our own wine

   The Fairview is always great. Enjoyed the stuffed bellas and baked brie appetizers along with the Filet Mignon and Stuffed Salmon for dinner.

   I had the crusted chicken which was very dry, hard to cut. Very small amounts and in my opinion expensive. My husband had the Halibut special which was dry and no taste. The portion was small. The broccoli was flavorful. Carrot cake for dessert, which we shared was good. Bill was over a hundred dollars and that is without alcoholic drinks. Did not notice when I made reservation on Open Table that the restaurant was BYOB. Disappointing overall. Atmosphere was great.

   As always, The Fairview Cafe was incredible. Whenever we have visitors to our lake house, we treat them to the fine dining experience...everything from the food to great service ism something we can always depend on.

   We have been going to Fairview Cafe for over 10 years which was the best restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, ownership has taking on other restaurants and the quality of the food and service has been compromised. We have had subpar meals the last few visits, and uncooked Brussel sprouts during our latest meal that had to be returned to kitchen to be cook further. Unfortunately, they were still uncooked the 2nd time around. They are always understaffed now, but our waitress did a fantastic job despite the disappointing dinner.

   The crab cakes and skirt steak were excellent, tasty, and real crab. Tasty sauce on meat. Fresh hot roll to start….however, our dinners were cold, not warm or hot, but we were too hungry to send back.

   If you looking to overpay for the tiniest entree portions ever…this is your spot. I paid $36 for the smallest cut rack of lamb which was tasty but also lukewarm with cold sides. The food was good but I wish I got more for money. It’s a cute little BYOB restaurant that has potential but unfortunately I won’t be back.

    Good was delicious although on the skimpy side. I remember getting more on past visits. 3 medium sized scallops and about 1/8 cup of rice. At least there was room for dessert which is always a treat! They had a 3 piece band out on the porch and they were excellent. Overall always enjoy dining here.
