Fahrenheit - Cleveland Ratings and Reviews
Got the halibut and pork shank. The pork shank was fantastic, the fish was way overdone. We didn't want to make a fuss about it during our dinner, but mentioned it for the kitchens sake at the time of the bill. The waitress apologized and offered us dessert, however we didn't want a dessert. It would have been nice to have been given a discount of some sort, but we were charged full price for everything. For a $34 piece of fish, it should be done right. Other than that, everything was good. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaraunt to others because of how the fish situation was dealt with, or not dealt with as it were. Thank you
This is one of our favorite restaurants for delicious highly skilled innovative food preparations. We love the food here. Our favorite the tuna and the shortribs for entrees. The spring rolls for an appetizer. Recently tried happy hour and it was very good also. You also have a wonderful staff. Hope to have many more wonderful dinners there.
I Took my wife for her Birthday dinner. We had heard great things about the menu especially the Short Ribs. My wife had the food week special with short ribs and I chose the Lobster Mac and cheese. The short rib meal was as good as described, the Lobster mac was not as exciting, as a matter of fact there was no Lobster in it, not even small pieces, just a lobster SAUCE. For $30 a plate, with no salad and no sides, I think a bowl of rigatoni noodles with an orange sauce over the top of it is crazy overpriced. I would go back but would choose a different meal.
Service was great I don't want to downplay our service we recieved
First visit here, and went because of the Restaurant Week special price menu. I got the Asian-influenced short ribs, and thought they were very tasty. My wife got the B&E chicken with risotto, and her chicken was extremely dry and lacked much flavor - the risotto was good though. We enjoyed our appetizers - the spring rolls and the flash-fried cauliflower. The desserts - a chocolate hazelnut mouse and red velvet cheesecake - were just OK. Overall, I liked the restaurant and would return, but wouldn't go out of my way to plan a repeat visit. The value we received for the restaurant week selections was very good, but probably wouldn't be worth the regular menu prices.
We got 2 appetizers, stuffed dates and grilled avocado and it was delicious. The sever was so nice and helpful witg recimmendations. The food here is incredible! We got 2 entrees, the beef short rib and filet mignon. If you love beef, definitely go for the short rib. It’s so tender it melts in your mouth. It explodes with flavor. I got the chocolate banana bread pudding for dessert and it was amazing! They make fabulous fresh mojitos.
The atmosphere is dim, quiet, and trendy. Romantic or great for a night out with friends. Would recommend to anyone.
We've dined at Fahrenheit a handful of times and each time we've been thoroughly pleased. This was a get-together with some out of town guests and they loved everything. We shared a number of appetizers and entrees; everything was wonderful. Our server was clearly new and a bit flustered, but aside from that we have zero issues with our experience.
Seated next to kitchen and restrooms so noise and traffic was unacceptable. Out of first choice of wine and the dinner special (how can you be out of a special at 8 PM on Saturday?). Entrees were slow to get to the table and were only lukewarm. Very disappointing - will not be back.
Our server must have been in training, as she was shadowed for the beginning. She was attentive, but by end of meal, i wished she would stop saying "My pleasure." Everything we ordered was quite good. The gents enjoyed the two pork dishes that the shadow waiter recommended, and we enjoyed the scallops and especially the short ribs with noodles.
The server clearly read the note in the reservation indicating that this was a birthday celebration-- and it seemed like every other table in the restaurant got a sparkler-- but we never did, leaving us feeling neglected, and definitely putting a damper on the occasion.
I think the front of the house does not live up to the kitchen talent here.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration for my son. We enjoyed the lobster bisque, tenderloin, Kobe steak, pork shank & chorizo stuffed dates. All food was excellent and are server was great. My son enjoyed the peanut butter dessert and the sparkler was a nice touch!
We were off to a slow start when I think we weren’t assigned a server but once we got one, he was great and very helpful with the menu. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, apps and dinner... and dessert! The bonus was we got to sit outside on a Saturday night in October! We don’t get this way as often as we’d like but when we do, it’s always fabulous
Dining was a pleasant experience. We dined on a weekday, which I believe was a better fit for people that want a quieter experience. The last time I dined there, on a weekend, we could not hear ourselves talk to each other.
Now - on to the food. It is creative and was very delightful. The 18 hour shank was done perfectly. The appetizer meatballs were excellent. Overall a very good meal.
Sorry to share that our experience was not so great. Nice people really but 3 different servers throughout because ours was 'super busy', menu items listed did not meet the plated items delivered, warm coffee (that we asked to have heated and still not hot - by 3 different people's standards), took a long time to remove dirty dishes from table and on. What a bummer.
my service was impechable and spot on! the server jacob was very nice and took very good care of us. we both had the filet minon and it was delicious and i would definately order it again. it was my first time being there and i was very happy with my experience!
