Fahrenheit - Cleveland Ratings and Reviews
Went for Sunday brunch with 5 adults, a two year old and infant- the staff and server were attentive, patient and just plain nice. Have been there before for dinner but never for brunch and it is definitely on my return list! The menu was varied with so many great things to choose from as well as being a great price point. The design-your-own bloody Mary was a hit and helped create a delicious cocktail
Fahrenheit gave us one of our best dining experiences ever. The food and service were 5 star and the thought that went into creating the menu was inspired. Real outside the box savvy planning on the part of the chef. My only criticism was that we could have used a little more light. We needed the flashlight on our phones to read the menu. All in all, we'll go back....frequently.
We love the food, but it would be nice to be able to see it. Last time we visited was summer and we were outside. This time we were inside and although the waitress turned the lights up as far as she was allowed, we used our phone's flashlight to see the menu and saw people at a table adjacent to us do the same thing. We ended up with 5 candles at our table for light. I suppose if we wanted to eat around a campfire this would be fine, but this was a business mean and more light, or at least light to read a menu would be welcomed.
Dinner with my husband was a wonderful experience. Pros: The food and staff were superb. Cons:Very close table seating and noise make it not the best ambiance for a romantic evening out. Also while the food is exceptional, it is very pricey. I definitely plan to return and to recommend to others.
Forgettable experience at a restaurant my wife and I have been to many times before and normally really like. We had the chicken and pork shank entrees, both of which were “fair”. The brusselsprout salad and chicken spring rolls were the highlights. Also, the ambience was odd - music would start, then stop, then start again and increasingly get louder, then turn off again.
Great food and place. Chef Rocco has an amazing place. Our service was outstanding, her personality, manners and friendliness was about standards. My wife and I have dined there numerous times and we’ve had the same waitress 80% of the time. I do not knew w her name, but we had a 6:30 reservation on February 13, and sat behind hostess station. We will be recommending Fahrenheit and we will be back soon.
We had a wonderful dinner. Our server was great-attentive without being overbearing. For a starter we had the meatballs and they melted in your mouth. My husband had the pork shank and was literally in hog heaven. I opted for a vegan dish (I'm not a vegan but it looked good). It was just ok...It was my birthday so we were treated to a complimentary dessert, which was delish, and a mini fireworks display.
Our waitress, Emily was very knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant was quite cold in temperature and the food was disappointing. I had the chorizo stuffed dates, fried cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and short ribs. Overall the food presentation was lovely but the flavors were not popping - seemed more salty than flavorful.
Excellent experience at Fahrenheit. Our server, Emily, was very knowledgeable and fun. The evening started with some kind of bread, a flavored butter (sorry, I don't recall their descriptions) and a kalamata olive tapinade. Not a big kalamata olive person, but it melded fantastically with the bread and butter. Emily recommended the chorizo bacon-wrapped dates and the grilled avocado as appetizers. Both were absolutely outstanding! The tastes of each appetizer came together for a flavor sensation I didn't expect. Our meals were outstanding. My braised beef short ribs melted into the lo mein noodles and my date's Vegas cut strip steak was very tender. The risotto with the strip steak was done perfectly. If I was forced to find a fault in any of this, I'd have to say the items we picked were a tad salty. From the olives with the bread to the soy sauce on the lo mein noodles with the short ribs and the risotto. Although we've been on a low sodium kick for a couple years now and that is something we take in to consideration. I made all gone with my meal, though, sopping up my bowl with the remaining bread. So I guess it wasn't too salty... Lol. Overall, a great meal, great atmosphere (except the loud mouth young ladies sat at a table next to us) and a great experience! HIGHLY recommended and we'll definitely be back.
This was recommended by a friend for us to go after Playhouse show and celebrate a birthday. Only disappointment was they didn't have a treat for a birthday. That's always a nice added touch...especially in a more upscale restaurant. The food we had was excellent though, as well as our selection of wine.
We arrived and were escorted to a table and found out the table was not cleaned. We went back to the front and we were asked if we were helped by a couple other people and we said yes. The people who asked were puzzled on who helped us and then the person who took us to the table the first time appeared and took us back to the table. The best part was the candle and dessert on the house. The food was okay but we didn’t think it had a “wow “ factor. We were also disappointed that a couple of items we wanted to try were not available and this was surprising at 7:30 on a Saturday night.
It was our first time to try out Fahrenheit because of all the recommendations we got for the place, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Our server, Heather, was very friendly and helpful. We ended up liking all the dishes she recommended -- the signature short ribs, salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes (my friend was initially apprehensive about the wasabi, but she said spicy kick was just enough and not overpowering) , tuna, and pork entrees, as well as dessert -- the banana pudding and mason jar cake. The place was also packed (for good reason), so it would be best to make a reservation ahead of time. I cannot wait to go back again to try all their other dishes!
This night they were filming for the travel channel. It was fun to watch the people get filmed. As for the food I recommend the figs or avacado for apps. They were fantastic. I had short ribs hubby had tuna both were great. As far the server you have to sit in Jeff’s area. He was the best waiter we have ever had. He was very attentive, knew the menu, made great recommendations. Want to take friends the next time.
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant!!! They are attentive and kind. I had trouble hearing my husband on our escape the child dinner date and they moved us no problem away from the bar in to quieter and romantic area. My husband and I had an amazing dinner with amazing food and service. This is by far my favorite date night spot!!!!
Wonderful meal for my wife's birthday. The candle provided was a real treat. Food was excellent. Every course a winner. Super creamy lobster bisque, crisp and refreshing shredded brussel sprout salad and a asian inspired short rib that was flawless.
Overall food was very good, although I wouldn't waste time or money ordering appetizers as they were a bit pricey and portions were extremely small. I ordered the Kobe Beef Short Ribs and they were amazing, so I would highly recommend them. Our server was extremely kind and very funny - she just happened to forget to bring a few things that we had ordered.
We enjoyed out evening at Fahrenheit. The chorizo stuffed dates were delicious; spring rolls were tasty but a bit messy to eat (cut on the diagonal). My husband's main course was the special Lamb Bolanese which was outstanding. I had the Pork Shank, my only complaint was I wanted much more of the wonderful polenta it sat on. We had two minor negative issues; one was the lighting, although romantic, is so low we had to use the cell phone light to read the wine menu. The second issue was our waiter was a bit full of himself, when we said it was our first time there he treated us like it was our first time in a fine restaurant. We are simply new to the Cleveland area and are trying out the nice restaurants around the area. Overall great place.
