Fahrenheit - Charlotte
Book your next event with us
My husband took me here for my 40th birthday; we were 1st timers. The ambiance is beautiful however, our waitress Brittany was not as friendly. She wasn’t rude but just didn’t seem welcoming or excited to serve us. Hopefully next time we’ll have a better experience but the rooftop dining is a great experience
Of course the view is one of the best in town. The staff is very professional and friendly. The one problem I had was my Italian Pinot Grigio was not cold enough and I had to add ice cubes, not my favorite thing to do to with my wine. We loved our meals!! Thank you to the chef and cook staff.
The only reason that I rated this restaurant a 4 out of 5 is because there were a lot of gnats. One flew into my salmon and stuck in it. Everything else was amazing.
Great view - great people- wine is a bit overpriced but overall great location
The entrees were excellent, especially the lobster mac & cheese. We had one dessert, with two chocolate cookies of sorts with ice cream. It was good, but not on the same level as dinner.
The view is awesome! The service was good, and the food was just okay my steak was a bit much burnt and there was a bone on my chicken pasta. But the flavor was good.
Would recommend for an intimate experience
Dined at Fahrenheit for our anniversary. By dining at 6:00 pm, we enjoyed a lovely window table, with only one other table being occupied in our area. Thus we enjoyed intimate conversation during our amazing meal. By 7:00, the dining room had filled and with music and rising verbal volume, the acoustics no longer allowed normal conversation. The overall experience was very nice, the view from the 21st floor impressive, and the food and service top drawer. Fahrenheit appears to be primarily a millennial hangout, thus, our next visit will definitely be an early one.
Great way to end a days worth of site-seeing.
Great service and wonderful food. Always a pleasure to dine at Fahrenheit
Great food, but they can’t guarantee that you’ll have a window view. Probably better to just go to the bar and order food, since it has a view of the city. Also, the hostess told us no hats in the dining room but several other guests were wearing hats.
Great overall experience the service was great, the ambiance was on point and the food over was good. Tge only thing I would say was negative would be the noise level inside was a bit overwhelming but eventually it became apart of the environment.
We've dined here many times - you come for the view and the food is decent as well. However, this past weekend, service was almost non existent. Slow to place a drink order, food came out at different times, and the table was not cleared. We asked for salt - three times. It's the little things that make or break the experience.
Wonderful experience. Beautiful view of downtown. We were very well taken care of and the food was delicious. I will definitely return.
Alcohol prices were a little steep. Observed some up there taking pictures and enjoying the view and not partaking in dining or drinking. After the picture taking they left. Maybe they could not afford your prices. Thank you, we did enjoy the view and the food and we definitely be back.
Great service and food! Our waitress Nicole was awesome.
The views are incredible! The appetizers are quite large, filling and came out quickly.
I would recommend for a a good place to meet and hang out maybe for a drink food was good but 32.00 for chicken and mac and cheese was a little high in my opinion when i can get same at olive garden for 14.99 the best part of the meal is the bread you get before your meal views were nice of the city but chef needs to serve a better meal for 32 bucks.
I was not happy that I could not see the view from where I was seated. There should not be any obstacles blocking the view regardless of seating. The menu could offer more of a variety.
The service was inattentive. The food was poor in taste and presentation. The peroration of a $50 fillet was the worst I have seen in Charlotte. There is much work to do to bring this establishment to a level that justifies the price. It is also the only major restaurant in Charlotte that charges to valet the car.
This was our first time here. We arrived by Uber and immediately saw the sign for where we needed to enter the building to make our way to Fahrenheit. Signage was satisfactory once in the building, and as we boarded the elevator it didn’t take too much effort to figure out which floor we needed to go to. It’s a very small plaque next to the button you need to press, but it did its job.
Once on the correct floor we made our way into the restaurant and to the host/hostess stand, knowing that we had our opentable reservation. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside or on the dope outside rooftop, and it was a beautiful evening in Charlotte so we opted for the outside rooftops. That’s when we realized that our opentable reservation was useless, as the best tables at Fahrenheit are outside (weather permitting), and *those* tables are first come-first serve. Your opentable reservation only gets you a table inside. Now luckily there was an amazing table available and the food was great, the drinks were cold, and the view was amazing the entire time. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, just don’t expect the opentable app to get you one of the amazing outside/roof top tables. I’d probably consider it “a little pricy,” but it’s definitely worth it.
Excellent place for a quiet date, great views, good food and excellent service.
Great service. Food was delicious especially the wrecker fish special
Went here on a whim while visiting my new home city of Charlotte with my boyfriend. Our server was amazing, also gave us free nachos that the chef told him to give out. He even saw we were going to UNCC and gave us some great advice. The food was amazing and view is unforgettable.
We had a terrific evening celebrating birthdays! The food was fantastic! The service was terrific - kudos to Isaiah! My only complaint was the wine list. I'd love to have seen more variety and those offered were way overpriced. Otherwise, it was perfect!
Food and service are good, but you pay for the ambiance and the views. Worth a try.
The restaurant was dirty. The blood and merry bar was impressive, but the shrimp that was added to the drink was sitting out in a bowl of water- ice that had completely melted. The only plus is the great view. I do not recommend this. Food delivery was very slow.
We had reservations and were seated right away. After being seated it took from 11:31 till 11:48 for someone to come to our table to take our drink order. The table behind kept getting serviced. This was a brunch for our 7th wedding anniversary. I will never go back
Avocado crab toast was delicious!!
We visited Fahrenheit for my moms 50th birthday dinner. We all loved it! The server was extremely nice and informative. Omg! The lobster avocado toast!! I will be be back.
The food was pricey but definitely worth it. We had the Flat Iron Wagyu Beef
& Lobster Carpaccio (AMAZING!), the American Wagyu Short Rib Steamed Buns (Tasty!), a few drinks, and topped it off with the Butter Poached Lobster Mac & Cheese. Although I ate the mac & cheese like I hadn't eaten in two weeks and thought that the flavor was unlike anything I'd ever had, it was a little salty. But I would definitely get it again! We had no complaints. It was raining the day we visited so didn't get to sit out and enjoy the views for long but we'll be back!
Terrible service. The food was good. Inexperienced waiter
Very disappointed overall
The food is always amazing. The service was amazing at the beginning of the night but as we stuck around the table and the restaurant got busy our server lost interest in us and it was very disappointing.
Dinner food was presented great and tasted great. Dessert not so much. 4th of July special didn’t work. All priced 25% higher than similar quality. Definitely paying for the view.
Great place to take friends who haven't been before.
We had a great birthday dinner on a Mon night. Allie was our server and she was great. Food was delicious and the value was outstanding. The worst thing about the evening was another family was dining celebrating 10 year wedding anniversary. They brought their two kids (ages approx 3 and 6). The kids were horribly inappropriate as was the parenting. Loud crying and yelling. Then at the end, the two kids were racing down the aisle running into dad's arms who was yelling across about 6 tables to his girls. The behavior was appropriate for Chuck E Cheese. My main complaint was that management should have spoken to them. That behavior adversely impacted our experience though we will return. One request is for management to manage misbehavior even if it would be awkward. Guests at this restaurant should be entitled to not have to deal with this.
Absolutely one of the most awesome restaurants I've ever been too. Everything was an experience here and the weather and atmosphere were perfect which helped out. First time here with my wife for our 4th Anniversary Dinner. The food and service were both amazing.
My 22oz rib meat was to dark, I think it was overcooked.
What a great referral from the concierge at the Hilton Charlotte City! This was a super fun rooftop experience with great food and drinks! Small plates were perfect - shrimp tempura was awesome; brussel sprouts really tasty; mixed drinks perfect for a really hot southern evening (I had a perfectly prepared Manhattan and my guest loved the Mule she ordered! Service was impeccable - Casey was just the right blend of available and patient. Highly recommend for a fun evening with a great view from the rooftop.
Terrible Service. Awful pricing.
This restaurant thinks it’s something fancier than it is. It’s a tired. Staff was rude, inattentive, and more focused on personal conversations than service to customers. Went next door to Nuvole, was infinity better, similar experience ambience wise
