Usually the service and overall experience is great, however this visit things seemed a little off. Starting with the hostess that was extremely rude upon arriving for our reservation. The service was unusually sub par this visit as well, our waiter never returned to the table after our food arrived to make sure our meal was prepared correctly or to refill our beverages, and we sat there when finished our meal for at least 10 minutes before he brought the check. Food was right on point as usual, and we will definitely return for brunch in the future despite today’s unusual unpleasant experience. I will still highly recommend Fahrenheit for an amazing brunch experience for a very reasonable price! Look forward to our next brunch here!!
The service, appetizer and sides were outstanding but the main event, The Tomahawk, was not the greatest cut. It was tough to cut through unfortunately.
Excellent place to have a cocktail watching the sunset then finish the evening with a fantastic meal!
We came to celebrate our 29th anniversary and it was wonderful. You all made us feel so special. Can't wait to come back!!
It was great the service and the food was delicious!
The food was not very good. The Lobster Soup was basically just melted butter with lobster flavoring. Almost inedible. I had the beef and lo mien. I thought it was good, but I was the only one of the 4 who enjoyed my meal.
The view is amazing! The appetizers were awesome !
Awesome ambiance and great food!! We would like to go back to experience the rooftop patio.
The worst customer service in Charlotte. Go here only if you want to have a special occasion completely ruined.
Had a great time, food and service amazing. Will certainly be returning in the near future.
The ambiance was very relaxing. We were seated right away, even though we arrived earlier than our reservation. The music was pleasant, audible but not overbearing. We had 3 servers that waited on us. We felt pampered! The shrimp appetizer was delicious and had good portions. My wagyu short ribs was so tender! My wife was so impressed with her pork chop flavors.
We ended our evening with a stroll out on the patio looking over the city. The view was beautiful beyond words. The is one experience we hope to repeat on future occasions.
Overall the experience was nice! This is my third time at the restaurant having dinner and service is still just ok. Definitely not up to the same level as the food along with the price you pay. The view of course is amazing! Decided to come this most recent time for my grandfathers 98th Birthday. Did take awhile to get our table ready and no one came to serve us until after we had to ask to get our server. I had a reservation for 5:30p and had requested for a table by the window. Even called ahead the day before and was told they’d put a note. When we got there at 5:30pm we didn’t get our table until 5:40pm because they had to clear our table. They don’t open until 5pm and weren’t busy so not sure why it wasn’t ready. Then we had to wait for over 5 minutes before getting a server and not sure how long we’d have to wait if we didn’t say something. After the beginning issues the rest was wonderful.
Perfect ad always
I have gone on several prior occasions to this establishment and was embarrassed to have brought my sister here to dine this past wknd . All prior experiences have been worthwhile and satisfactory. We were sat under an air vent, which kept us shivering throughout dinner and chilled our food down as soon as it was brought to the table. Our waitress did not seek to move us. The manager did not even come to the table until after the check was paid. He then offered a dessert to which I declined. He stated also that he would put a note in my profile, not to sit me under an air vent in the future, but never asked my name. 123.00 meal for two was the worst expensive dining experience I have had since moving to this city.
Excellent food and great service
Food was fantastic as was the service. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. The prices were very comparable considering the quality of the meal. I would definitely recommend the avocado and calamari starters, the scallops main course and the blueberry cheesecake.
Food was great, had nachos, teriyaki noodles w/ beef (2) and pizza, was a little disappointed that you didn’t have wings but the nachos made up for it and the peanut and jelly bread pudding was a nice dessert
Cool option for CLT area. Food took a bit to come out. Apps were cold but steak was perfect. Great views of the skyline. Overall it was pretty good but not worth all the hype
Meau needs more options to choose from, but the experience was awesome.
Ambient temperature was a little cool
Sean was a superb waiter
Very happy with the meal
Definitely was a memorable time for my now girlfriend and I. We both enjoyed the grilled avocado, beet salad and salmon entree. It was our first romantic date after getting to know one another over 5 months. The waitress aimed my special request by calling my date Hazel Grace. While she did well on that end , her energy fell flat after that. Wish she was a little more engaged to keep the moment going. Great thing my girlfriend and I have a great chemistry or that could of killed the moment. Overall great experience. Very peaceful as we had reservations around 5:15 on a Friday . Beautiful patio setting to capture pics and view the city. Would recommend to anyone as the food was good although we went for ambience alone
Both hostesses were rude and unprofessional. They should stay off their cell phones and happily greet patrons.
The overall experience was very good. The food quality and the presentation was excellent. The service was not very good. The waitress favored responding to other patrons in a timely manner vs. us. Was not happy with her at all.
Everything was perfect. Great food, great service, special recognition of our anniversary. The glass walls were open to a lovely evening and the best view in the state!
Service is so very slow. We were served the wrong entree and then the waitress argued with us. Food was adequate. Views are great.
We truly enjoyed our visit to Charlotte and a dinner at Fahrenheit. The food was outstanding and the service was above and beyond! Our server, Teresa, may have been the best server I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her attention to detail and her sincere interest and whether we were enjoying ourselves or not was top notch. You are fortunate to have her in your employ and your restaurant is outstanding. We will certainly return next time we come to Charlotte.
Read all the other reviews. Your odds of having a good experience is 50/50 at best. Let's face it, the only reason people go here is for the view. Fine. Have a drink, go outside and enjoy. But if it's fine dining you're after, you will not get it here. I think our waiter literally had no idea what he was supposed to do. He fumbled through the entire meal; he had no personality, and he didn't really seem to care. It's like we were imposing on his time the entire night. At the end, he brought us the dessert menu, left, and came back with the check. WTF? He didn't even ask us if we wanted anything.
My wife and I had fish and my daughter ordered the pizza. The fish was terrible; it smelled bad, the flavors didn't blend at all, and midway through the meal we were both eating my daughters pizza.
I know you won't believe me. So go ahead and try this place, enjoy the view, but get the pizza; it's the only safe bet. Or, save the $50 per person bill, and go to Pikes 5 times. They'll appreciate your business and treat you better.
This was our second visit to Fahrenheit, and it may be my last. The food was good, but the service was awful. First issue: our table had a short leg and was rocking. We asked the waiter for something to fix it. No one came to ask us about it until our entrees had been served, and I had gone to the restroom to get a stack of paper towels and my husband fixed the table. Second issue: I had a question about the wine - a French rose. I asked what grapes were used to make it. That took a while. The waiter came back and said they Googled it. I never saw the sommelier. The wine, however, was actually quite good. Third issue: Once the waiter opened the bottle and gave us our first pour, he never topped off our glasses the rest of the night. We did it ourselves. He came back very late to ask us if we were enjoying our meal, but that was after we flagged someone else down to ask about something. I don't like to be hovered over, but I don't like to be ignored, either. This restaurant seems to now be catering to millennials. We are not millennials, but dine out frequently; and I am often making restaurant recommendations to my millennial trainees and colleagues. I will not be recommending Fahrenheit for anything other than the view.
Birthday Celebration and enjoyed every moment from the food to the view...
It was wonderful for the event. Sunday Brunch with the Charlotte skyline was perfect.
Food was good. Very loud in the dining room. Went outside after eating, great view
Food was exceptional including appetizer, main course, and desserts.
Asked for window seating when made reservations, but was seated across from. There were tables available at windows and remained so throughout dining. Service was a bit on the slow side and inattentive as far as checking back on table. I would definitely recommend for food and and city scape views!
Food was not satisfying which was very disappointing on a special night.
Excellent service excellent food excellent I'm beyond great restaurant all the way around would love to come back for brunch
Celebrated 15th anniversary. Staff was great - very nice and attentive!
Everything was great but it was a bit loud
We enjoyed our dinner. The waiter was great but we did have a noticeable wait for the food.
Everything was absolutely wonderful I would definitely be going back!
The food was amazing! Probably the best and most tender steak I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is very nice! The waitress didn’t have much to say and it was a little pricey for what it is, but overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back.
My wife and I both got steak.... what a mistake. It was like eating a block of salt. We could only stomach a couple of bites each.
The food was delicious and our waiter was wonderful!
The noise level was quite loud and the decor inside could have been a little more romantic.
But, the food and service makes up for the lack of noise and decor.
I will be returning with my husband. The food was just that good.
