Fahrenheit - Charlotte
Book your next event with us
Booked a table for 7.30 for 5 people. Restaurant week and my husbands birthday so it was quite busy. Only seated at 7.50. Our server wasn’t nice at all. I asked if they had a kids menu, no. Ok so my two kids shared a queens feast and that was ok. We ordered wine, server just poured into glasses, we didn’t get to try it. Wine was delicious anyway. We had cauliflower starter and calimari, both delicious. Two if us had steak, not asked how we wanted it cooked. We said rare. It was a little over cooked but still very tasty. One had salmon and it was delicious. One had lobster mac and also very tasty. We had 4 desserts. Two of each on the queens feast, brownie and choc cake. Brownie was the best. Choc cake just ok. Server was very rude. Drinks were mixed up, that was ok. My daughter can only drink diet drinks. When their drinks were refilled I asked the lady politely was it Diet Coke and she said ‘think so’. I asked for salt several times. There was no silverware when we got our desserts and had to ask for this. I honestly think they were not happy that our kids were with us. Then we were overcharged. When I asked her to check she sighed. The service charge was automatically included 20%. The food was delicious but the service was terrible.
The view is amazing, the food is fantastic but our server was lacking. It is absolutely worth going though.
The view was amazing and the food was sub-par. I would go again but only for drinks.
We had a great time & the View of uptown Charlotte was awesome.
I went to the restaurant a couple years back for my wife and I anniversary. The filet mignon was to die for. The sauce on the steak was like the best we had ever had along with the experience. With that said we returned in 2019 for our Anniversary. I requested a window seat and noted it was our Anniversary. Neither a recognition or window seat available. We found that the filet mignon and the sauce was no longer available and that the waitress stated the menu had changed 4 times since our last visit. This was very disappointing as I had a 22oz steak with what was comparable to a chipotle sauce topped with a mountain of greens. This was not only unappealing but average tasting as well. Far from what we remembered and what brought us back from our 1 1/2 hour drive to the restaurant. Please bring this back because there is no other reason for us to come back without this signature dish.
Food was incredibly delicious. Service was great and the view is fabulous.
The server was excellent, very nice, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed. The presentation of the food was awesome but the overall taste could have been better. Pricey for no reason, needs more menu options and explanations of how deals work when you have a 2 or more party.
LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT! The food was exceptional! The service was excellent! I can not wait to go back!
I recommend that they remove the table my the kitchen door. We had to ask to be moved. But other than that u would go bk again n again food was fabulous.
Went for queens feast. Filet was good and waiters were great!
We enjoyed our evening. Isiah was a terrific server. The food was excellent & quite reasonable. Queens Week is wonderful. Our outside experience was dampened a bit by rain but the view was spectacular. We were a bit disappointed when we were seated in the back dining area. Although more quiet, the view is less desirable and the ambiance is rather blah. We do enjoy bringing out of town guests to the restaurant and giving them a fine dining experience while exposing them to the city skyline.
Food mediocre. Had to send back due to under cooked scallops and my steak mashed potatoes and broccoli cold. Waiter average.
This was Queens Feast. My friend ordered off menu and I had Queens Feast for 35 had wine ok 30 but I questioned the surcharge??? That’s the tip😆😆😆. My Friend who ordered off menu no surcharge. Next time surcharge is built in tip that I wish the manager had explained more clearly.
Will go for drinks 🍷 only view ok only 21st Floor.
Not the Rainbow Room in NYC.
Expensive evening with Urber also lucky rides were great!!!
I would not recomend to anyone. It was a way over priced. Apperizers were terrible. Calamari way over cooked and unedible. Kale salad was just a bowl of chopped kale with a little cheese. I had to ask for dressing. The meals for both were ok. The meats cooked perfectly. Sides were cold. Come on guys...cold mashed potatoes? The tiny round chocolate cake was very dry and bland. Should have had it filled with something. You charge ourageous prices and should served something special. The fire outside was so not needed on a 98 degree evening. The fake grass ..Really?
My husband took me here for my 40th birthday; we were 1st timers. The ambiance is beautiful however, our waitress Brittany was not as friendly. She wasn’t rude but just didn’t seem welcoming or excited to serve us. Hopefully next time we’ll have a better experience but the rooftop dining is a great experience
Of course the view is one of the best in town. The staff is very professional and friendly. The one problem I had was my Italian Pinot Grigio was not cold enough and I had to add ice cubes, not my favorite thing to do to with my wine. We loved our meals!! Thank you to the chef and cook staff.
The only reason that I rated this restaurant a 4 out of 5 is because there were a lot of gnats. One flew into my salmon and stuck in it. Everything else was amazing.
Great view - great people- wine is a bit overpriced but overall great location
The entrees were excellent, especially the lobster mac & cheese. We had one dessert, with two chocolate cookies of sorts with ice cream. It was good, but not on the same level as dinner.
The view is awesome! The service was good, and the food was just okay my steak was a bit much burnt and there was a bone on my chicken pasta. But the flavor was good.
Would recommend for an intimate experience
Dined at Fahrenheit for our anniversary. By dining at 6:00 pm, we enjoyed a lovely window table, with only one other table being occupied in our area. Thus we enjoyed intimate conversation during our amazing meal. By 7:00, the dining room had filled and with music and rising verbal volume, the acoustics no longer allowed normal conversation. The overall experience was very nice, the view from the 21st floor impressive, and the food and service top drawer. Fahrenheit appears to be primarily a millennial hangout, thus, our next visit will definitely be an early one.
Great way to end a days worth of site-seeing.
Great service and wonderful food. Always a pleasure to dine at Fahrenheit
Great food, but they can’t guarantee that you’ll have a window view. Probably better to just go to the bar and order food, since it has a view of the city. Also, the hostess told us no hats in the dining room but several other guests were wearing hats.
Great overall experience the service was great, the ambiance was on point and the food over was good. Tge only thing I would say was negative would be the noise level inside was a bit overwhelming but eventually it became apart of the environment.
We've dined here many times - you come for the view and the food is decent as well. However, this past weekend, service was almost non existent. Slow to place a drink order, food came out at different times, and the table was not cleared. We asked for salt - three times. It's the little things that make or break the experience.
Wonderful experience. Beautiful view of downtown. We were very well taken care of and the food was delicious. I will definitely return.
Alcohol prices were a little steep. Observed some up there taking pictures and enjoying the view and not partaking in dining or drinking. After the picture taking they left. Maybe they could not afford your prices. Thank you, we did enjoy the view and the food and we definitely be back.
Great service and food! Our waitress Nicole was awesome.
The views are incredible! The appetizers are quite large, filling and came out quickly.
I would recommend for a a good place to meet and hang out maybe for a drink food was good but 32.00 for chicken and mac and cheese was a little high in my opinion when i can get same at olive garden for 14.99 the best part of the meal is the bread you get before your meal views were nice of the city but chef needs to serve a better meal for 32 bucks.
I was not happy that I could not see the view from where I was seated. There should not be any obstacles blocking the view regardless of seating. The menu could offer more of a variety.
The service was inattentive. The food was poor in taste and presentation. The peroration of a $50 fillet was the worst I have seen in Charlotte. There is much work to do to bring this establishment to a level that justifies the price. It is also the only major restaurant in Charlotte that charges to valet the car.
This was our first time here. We arrived by Uber and immediately saw the sign for where we needed to enter the building to make our way to Fahrenheit. Signage was satisfactory once in the building, and as we boarded the elevator it didn’t take too much effort to figure out which floor we needed to go to. It’s a very small plaque next to the button you need to press, but it did its job.
Once on the correct floor we made our way into the restaurant and to the host/hostess stand, knowing that we had our opentable reservation. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside or on the dope outside rooftop, and it was a beautiful evening in Charlotte so we opted for the outside rooftops. That’s when we realized that our opentable reservation was useless, as the best tables at Fahrenheit are outside (weather permitting), and *those* tables are first come-first serve. Your opentable reservation only gets you a table inside. Now luckily there was an amazing table available and the food was great, the drinks were cold, and the view was amazing the entire time. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, just don’t expect the opentable app to get you one of the amazing outside/roof top tables. I’d probably consider it “a little pricy,” but it’s definitely worth it.
Excellent place for a quiet date, great views, good food and excellent service.
Great service. Food was delicious especially the wrecker fish special
Went here on a whim while visiting my new home city of Charlotte with my boyfriend. Our server was amazing, also gave us free nachos that the chef told him to give out. He even saw we were going to UNCC and gave us some great advice. The food was amazing and view is unforgettable.
We had a terrific evening celebrating birthdays! The food was fantastic! The service was terrific - kudos to Isaiah! My only complaint was the wine list. I'd love to have seen more variety and those offered were way overpriced. Otherwise, it was perfect!
Food and service are good, but you pay for the ambiance and the views. Worth a try.
The restaurant was dirty. The blood and merry bar was impressive, but the shrimp that was added to the drink was sitting out in a bowl of water- ice that had completely melted. The only plus is the great view. I do not recommend this. Food delivery was very slow.
