Fado Pub & Kitchen
We combine the fun, energy and connection of an Irish pub with a kitchen that passionately serves fresh, accessible, European-inspired food. We source local ingredients when we can and we are owned and operated locally. And you can count on craft-made cocktails, a menu of 50 + bottles of wine as well as a full selection of local and European draught beer.
We are open and ready to serve! If you are unable to make an Open Table reservation, please come on in or give us a call 614-408-1500.
Our group made the mistake of planning our lunch on the same day as two large groups, who took over all of the low tables in two dining rooms. They should have brought in more wait staff, as we often waited quite a while for our very busy waitress to get back to us. Even the bartender was serving food. I was glad when they turned off the music (probably for one of the groups that had a presentation), as it was too loud to carry on a conversation without raising our voices.
The food was absolutely fantastic. My harvest beet salad was one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The other ladies enjoyed avocado toast or soup & salad plates. The Guinness beef & vegetable soup had a kick to it, as did the avocado toast, according to my friends. The decor was nice, and we plan to return. We just hope it's not such a busy day for the staff. In that case, I will rate the restaurant with 5 stars.
It was very nice. The fish and chips are delicious. Love the batter on the fish and the chips were real potatoes. Yummy!
Only complaint is no Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. Had to buy a half bottle. Too much for one person.
Other than that... a very pleasant experience!
I thought it was a perfect irish-style pub. Only downside is that it's next to a cigar shop so it smells heavily of tobacco upon entering.
Great food and fun atmosphere.
Was t very busy and had to wait on ordering drinks for quite awhile
I had reservations for 545 and when I got there I was seated promptly. There was a Celtic music group that was playing that I wanted to see. My table was directly across from where they were playing which was ideal. It took a while for our server to notice that we were there but once she realize that we had not been waited on, she was more attentive. Our table ordered several hors d’oeuvres and later ordered shepherds pie, which was good but not great.
Our group truly enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. I definitely would go back should the opportunity arise.
Had a very good server, she did great with our food and drinks while we watched the Columbus Crew match.
Great menu, excellent location, service was very good. Parking is close, short walk to Fados. Highly recommend.
The seasonal special, Guinness Beef Stew over Concannon Mashed potatoes was not special. It was beef gravy over mashed potatoes.
A nice addition to the Bridge Park area of Dublin. Our server Laura has waited on me several times and has always provided excellent service. One of my favorite places to go for lunch. Interested in how lunch compares to dinner.
This place was good! Not very good. Not excellent. Just good. Average for what you should expect to pay for this price. Location I give a 4 star and free parking and walk 5 stars. I ordered a few apps for a business meeting. They were ok. Had the burger. Again it was also ok. Imagine going to Cheesecake Factory level of food. Except the cocktails and adult beverages here had much more to offer than the typical chain restaurants.
Overall an average experience with average food! Would I come here again? Sure it’s like a better choice than gross fast food. But not to show off Dublin or Columbus. It’s just a normal chain experience.
Food was excellent! I highly recommend the goat cheese balls and the salmon bites for appetizers. The lamb burger is to die for. Overall, everything on the menu looks delicious. If you're a drinker, they make the best Manhattans!
As far as the service goes, the waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food came out in a very reasonable time-frame.
I love the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. It's a bit noisy due to the high ceilings. But don't let that deter you. It is definitely worth the visit!
Place is always fantastic. An incredible management team!!
Server was attentive and very friendly. Food is creative and excellent!
Super great variety! Should be something for everyone in the family.
Tried Fado for the first time this weekend. The food was good but nothing spectacular. One portion of our food was cold and totally forgot part of our order. Our server was very nice. Liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Excellent! Will be back in the evening to enjoy the extensive whiskey list.
The first time we dined here we ordered the fish and chips lunch size portion. It was a large piece of cod and was delicious. We have been here three times since and each time the fish portion gets smaller. This weeks portion was ridiculously small and I think our waiter heard me comment to our dinner companions about it. Probably will think twice before we fine here again.
Enjoyed our first visit
Will bring family and friends next time
All good except music just a bit too loins to allow conversation
Music was very loud so it was hard talk to our friends. Lots of people so our waitress was not very attentive, but still around. We were seated in the bar area which may be why music so loud. Great food and drink options
Took my wife for Valentines Day. Food was good.
Great experience for Valentines Day. Out server, Natasha, was wonderful.
Look like Fadó Pub & Kitchen is another terrific addition to the Bridge Park District. Menu was simple and straightforward. Ambiance was pleasantly airy and open.
Service wasn’t great. Super slow.
Such great decor, food, service, and food!!
The staff was flexible - A few of us arrived early & had a drink at the bar before being seated at our reserved table. The atmosphere was relaxed & the food was excellent
The waiter was very personable and attentive.
Food and drinks were awesome, traditional irish fare
Our group dwindled to 5 with 2 last minute cancellations. Beautiful restaurant with nice view. Quiet at lunch time which was nice so we could talk. Great price on brunch mimosas and bloody Mary's. Attentive waitstaff. Unique booklet for feedback at checkout.
We had a terrific time at FADOs. The staff were attentive, checked in to let us know how long our wait would be and made sure we had everything we needed. One of our friends had never tried a Guinness before. The waitress, provided a tasting glass. Everyone's food was prepared as described and everyone at our table left clean plates. It is an open concept and we were near the bar, so it was loud where we were, but, not so loud you couldn't have a conversation at your table. All in all. Enjoyable night out, great food, great service.
Good food, good drinks, good service. It wasn't too over the top and the dishes had their own twist was but we're all still classic dishes. The interior of the space was gorgeous, it got noisy after 6:00 but that was expected for a Saturday night
Noisy! Difficult to have conversation, even on a weeknight. But our waiter was great and the food was good.
Drink service was a bit slow, but overall a great experience!
So glad we decided to try this place. A great addition to Bridge Park. Will be back many times over.
Was pleasantly surprised. Great bar and atmosphere. Smoked salmon app was great! Will be back soon.
Wonderful Service and incredible appetizers. The date on this review should be December 31st.
Went on on Sunday night before New Year's Eve and then headed to Zoo Lights. It was not crowded at all and we got an easy reservation via OpenTable for a party of six on a high top. Guinness BBQ wing appetizer was very good. Pub Burger was also very good.
Irish with an Upgrade!
If you're looking for an authentic European pub feel - this spot nails it! Great food, superb staff, and drinks galore. The seating options are great - from elbowing up to the bar, high-top tables near tv's or low tops with a view of the river... you just can't miss. Food was fantastic and the wine, bourbon and beer lists are totally on point for even the savviest drinker. Plenty of variety on the menu for all dietary preferences - and a few (secret) gems pulled over from the original Easton location. Can't wait to go back!
Food is much better than pub food! Nice ambiance.
