Fadó Irish Pub - Atlanta
The menu and quality atmosphere at Fadó will reset your expectation around what it means to eat at an Irish Pub. There is a broad range of snacks for sharing and fantastic burgers and sandwiches. The star of our entrée section is our Fish and Chips which uses sustainably caught cod from the deep waters off of Iceland. You’ll also see Irish staples like Shepherd’s Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage. We take great pride in our seasonal menu which changes regularly.
We are known for our cocktail selection with an emphasis on Irish spirits, a broad range of local craft beers and, of course, the best Pint of Guinness in Atlanta.
Our calling card is our hospitality and everything you see in the pubs was built in Ireland and shipped to the U.S.A.
Atlanta's Best Fish & Chips
sustainably caught cod from the deep, icy waters of the North Atlantic with crispy chips, tartar sauce, coleslaw
Harvest Bread Pudding
a flavorful pudding with apples, cinnamon, sugar and walnuts, topped with vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce
Food was okay. Service was okay.
Biggest issue is their incorrect advertising. Fado boasts a bottomless mimosa. A mimosa, to most people, means OJ and Champagne. However, Fado has changed their mimosa to be made with OJ and a local seltzer (mimosa flavored).
That is not a mimosa. The ABV is lower and just "watered" down with more OJ. Fado should not be advertising this as a mimosa.
Great food, good service, outstanding atmosphere. I will be back.
This was our first time going out since the pandemic started. My group is fully vaccinated, so we felt safe going out. You have to wear mask upon entry and the staff wears masks. We went o Fado because it was the end of the English Premiership season and all the games played at the same time. We knew it would be packed with people and there were more people than anticipated. Nearly none of the other patrons were wearing masks. But the energy of the place was incredible and it was great to out. I can imagine on a non sports day, the place is very sanitary and much less people and feeling of being safe from the virus is greater. But beyond that our experience that day was incredible.
I think the staffing was not ready for the return of larger crowds - although they handled it well.
Here's to returning to "Normal"
Cocktails were very good and I recommend the pretzel app
Mother’s Day Brunch.
One of my favorite hangouts !
Very good selection of draft beer. The burger is excellent. I would definitely go back when in Atlanta.
Started with excellent food: Shepard’s pie, add the best fish & chips I’ve had in Atlanta, with great, friendly service. My wife & I wanted to find a place different & memorable for our anniversary- wow, the place exceeded our expectations. Forgot to mention the banana pudding a la mode!! Well worth going from Decatur to Buckhead. Will be returning- want to check the burgers.
With sports bar ambience in Buckhead Village, this lively venue has excellent appetizers and specialty cocktails. Patio area could be cleaner, although that may be consistent with the collegiate conviviality. Service was very good.
Lots of Guiness! The fish and chips are delicious, as was the corned beef and cabbage. The pretzel was so good and you must try the bread pudding!
Guinness and Shepard's Pie---how can you go wrong. Both excellent!
The happy hour beer was watered down. The workers did not deny it and comped our drinks.
Love it here
Brunch with a lover & friend
Our server was so friendly and attentive.! She made sure my drink was FULL. We had such a great time and the endless mules was a MAJOR plus! We sat over on the red booth which to the average person it was cute but it was serving me LFYE!!! The food was delicious and the smoked salmon bites are scrumptious just pure deliciousness! Can’t rave enough about just how amazing our server was! I promise we will be back just because how great of a time we had.
Love this place but everytime I go the service is slow, the kitchen doesn't time appetizers and entres correctly. Not worth the money even though I like the place.
Perfect bar for Sunday brunch & to watch a game. Very casual and comfortable vibe. Food was really good & service was great!
We made a reservation to watch the Atlanta United game. They had our name on our table and the hosts and server went out of their way to make sure we had a TV facing us that had the game on (as other people were watching football). Our table faced the Atlanta United game and two major football games and we could not have been happier. Drinks and food were great too!
We were in Atlanta from Minneapolis. Good food, good drinks. Loved our time here.
Incredible food and incredible vibe! Great spot for friends.
We made reservations and when showed up on time we were turned away because an event was planned and it was private. We never should have been allowed to make reservations if a private event was planned. We were quite upset but didn’t make a scene.
If pubs are your thing then you need to visit Fadó Irish Pub in Buckhead. They currently have new business hours, but the customer service remains excellent.
Upon arrival I found plenty of on street parking near the restaurant, and with a short walk I was at the entrance.
I was warmly greeted, my afternoon reservation was found, and I then chose great outdoor dining on their covered patio. I chose high top bar seating. From this view you’ll see passersby walking dogs, shoppers heading in, and out of nearby department stores, singles, and couples sitting on area benches, and socializing. Many people can be found out, and about, and enjoying a beautiful summer afternoon. The atmosphere is full of moving good energy.
For my entree I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and thick cut fries. This grilled all-beef patty, American cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion topped burger is worth the visit to Fadó! The side of hot, and perfectly seasoned fries was the right choice. If you haven’t visited Buckhead dining options lately. You now have a new reason to.
Thank you for reading, and sharing this blog Dining Today! For your next dining out experience I hope it’s amazing, and make sure you are wearing fantastic accessories from Diary Talk And More.
Had a great time
Good and drinks were great as always
It took 20 minutes for our waitress to come & take our drink order, then she forgot about us. The hostess then became our waitress because our waitress was “overwhelmed” & she wasn’t much better. The food was great, but the service was horrible.
The drinks were good and the server was great, but the shepherds pie and lamb dip left much to be desired, considering the specialty is pub food
Food and service are always great. Glad they have opened back up
Normally a good meal, but even though I reminded the restaurant, they failed to enter my reservation so that I could get credit for it. I called afterwards once and never heard back. I called again, and the manager, a man, was friendly, apologetic and he promptly credited me. I normally have the fish and chips, which are excellent. This time I tried the Sheppard Pie. It was not as good and proportionally a bit small. I would not order it again.
When we arrived after having made a reservation we were told someone had sat at our table and there was nothing they could do about it. Then the staff made it seem as though we were really putting them out to accommodate us anyway. Our waitress was very nice but because we were ‘accommodated’ she wasn’t able to get to us as much as was needed. Also one of our meals was completely forgotten about but thankfully was comped. The food was very good and fairly priced but the price of wine seemed outrageous after receiving our bill. Granted, we didn’t ask so in truth that was our error but still seemed excessive. All in all it did put a damper on our night so the service here needs some work.
Happy hour choices were very good, particularly the salmon and the fried goat cheese. Excellent service and perfect for a bite to eat before a show at Buckhead Theater, which is just around the corner.
Our waiter made it very clear he did not want to be there. Made us feel as though we were a bother eveb though we were no problem. Will not return to this this establishment!
Our server wasn’t trained well . If he was he didn’t listen . I had to find my own silverware , server brought water and 2 glasses stacked , he put them on the table and walked away , I ordered unsweet tea and asked for sweetener and discovered they don’t have any but the server that brought our food asked a coworker if she had some sweetener she usually brings her own. I made reservations through open table , is was seat yourself and I asked server if I can still get points and check me in . He said he didn’t know what I was talking about and if a had a card to punch . I said no it’s an app . Eventually he said he’d ask his manager . I eventually received my points. The food is always good at Fados . Wait staff needs better training and follow up . Even though the food is good , because if service continues to be poor I’d definitely go to another restaurant.
The food is good, service good but they place always smells musty and the seats and tables are never clean
Host and manager were super accommodating. Found us seats and got my game on a nearby TV. Thought the avocado toast with salmon and the tacos off the brunch menu were excellent
Great Saturday Brunch Patio with friends. We had an Awesome experience.
I went to watch a liverpool soccer game, and it was great! The bartenders were quick and attentive and the food was amazing. I will definitely be going back!
I would have preferred the roof terrace, but it is always reserved for groups. The food and the service are good, great atmosphere.
Real nice atmosphere enjoy the food just a little bit too noisy for me
Came specifically for the corn beef and cabbage as well as the ambience. Both were above average.
Food was okay at most. Service was good. Environment was not what you would expect from a brunch spot.
