A lot of fun when our server puts up with, and joins in to our silly banter.

It was our first time visiting fable diner. The atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming as well as the staff. I loved the positive vibe in the restaurant. The food was delicious beyond what we had expected would definitely return back to this place for brunch.

We've always had good experiences bringing our little one for brunch at Fable. Food comes out quickly so we can eat and get out before kiddo becomes restless!

Good diner feel and excellent bar. They have brunch every day and all day if that's your thing. We had the duck pancakes which were great and the Broadway burger. The cocktails were fresh.

Friendly and attentive staffs, good value for the brunch menu (you definitely get more food than you can finish). Milkshakes were really good, and not too sweet.

The only thing is that the potatoes were a little too salty for my taste.

We’ve walked by Fable for years and decided to try it this week. It was way better than we expected. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic (the mixed berry pie was amazing). The ambience was excellent. We had a fantastic time.

Lots of tables were available and we were sat between the two bars and where servers get their items for customers. We could see the kitchen and the tense interactions between the staff.

Food was great, but the ambiance was left to be desired based on where we sat.

In this day and age, going out is so limited and customers should be provided with better experiences, felt the experience was matter of fact.

Lovely dinner

Our server was very polite and attentive. It was her third day working there and I was impressed with how she was able to answer all our questions quickly and correctly. I loved that we were able to make a reservation online. Made the visit that much more enjoyable to know there was a seat ready and waiting for us.

Quiet diner that I’ve been meaning to try and finally got the chance! Tasty, pretty food, hipster. Loved being able to have breakfast items for dinner! Great selection of menu items, even for my picky kids! The Vanilla Banana milkshake is a must-try, the cornflakes surprisingly made it extra yummy! large enough serving for 2 to share. Very casual and relaxed, quiet. Would come again.

Always a great experience, excellent fresh creative food, friendly and engaging staff - like the Prohibition weekend meals and appreciate the gift of jam! All good, our favourite spot.

It’s a modern looking, spacious dinner located in the Mount Pleasant area. Food was interesting and creative, although it may not be for everyone (eg. Duck breast with kimchi on a pancake). It was a bit too salty for my liking though. My server was a super cheerful lady. I really like their weekend brunch. You get your main dish, a baked treat, a biscotti, tea (or coffee), AND another drink for only $25.

We went for the prohibition brunch - delicious, huge meal, excellent value. Will definitely be going again.

The choice of "Mains" is limited, likely due to Covid19, though. Ice cream is available by itself (not many places offer that!).

Pulled pork sandwich on a bun comes with lots of fries.

Staff are very polite!

COVID times makes everything seem strange. Service was good but, with limited staff, not up to what I expect here. The food is always great. Comfort food through and through along with the best milk shakes.

Everything was perfect! Try their rösti and thick cut bacon for breakfast.

The Prohibition Brunch is definitely worth the money - $25 for Coffee/tea + Pastry + Main + Sweet Treat + alcoholic/non-alcoholic drink. But, make a reservation ahead of time so you won't be turned away

The specials were offered and then we were told they weren’t available! My husband and daughter enjoyed their dishes, but mine was just alright.

Excellent - our favourite breakfast spot - creatively interpreted breakfast entrees, delicious, excellent quality and very very good. Energy at the diner was up and friendly, very good COVID precautions. All around great food in an interesting and welcoming environment.

The weekend Prohibition Brunch is so worth it! Great drinks and milkshakes! My fave is the duck pancakes!

Always enjoy visiting Fable Diner for breakfast. Friendly staff and tasty food. I appreciate them being open during the pandemic.

We felt safe, as well as well-fed and well looked after. Music too loud, made conversation difficult -- calling it "energetic" in the ranking choices is far too kind. Apart from that detail, a great choice. Fable seems to have adapted well to difficult circumstances and deserves to continue to prosper.

My friends birthday brunch. They got him a Cherry Pie with a candle on the house. Breakfast special was worth it!

Menu is extremely limited. One would think a diner would serve variety of "comfort food". Level and quality of food not up to par. Would not recommend for Diner style food.

We had a server who told us that she hadn't be there that long. She was fantastic. A great server, and very funny and nice.
Food is always good.

The upbeat ambiance, the fun music, the value, the servers are intuitive, personable, friendly, attentive and quick.
I’m especially enjoying the value with the new (to me at least), prohibition brunch, it’s like the food and drinks just keep coming ;)
I’ve already taken and told many of my friends about my super positive experience and encouraged them to check it out too.

Fable is always consistently great, the servers are always wonderful and the food is always great.

Was disappointed that the turkey dinner was a round roast. I am not of fan of the round turkey roasts and would not have booked our dinner if I had known that in advance. Everything but the Turkey was delicious. Our server seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll be back for another turkey dinner!

Great food, but small portions. Boozy milkshake and pumpkin pie were delicious!

Food was amazing and the $25 breakfast brunch was a good deal! Amazing service as well! Just wish the restaurant wasn't as loud because it was harder to have a conversation.

The duck pancake was unbelievable. Fantastic brunch place on weekends for such a good deal!

The beef brisket was not brisket it was cubed meat that tasted like plastic. I've never seen anything like it. The potatoes were overdone. I ate the eggs, the kale and the avocado. Then I found a long curly blond hair in my food (my hair is black.) The servers were kind enough to take it off the bill but I will never go back.

The service was great.
The food was delicious and well priced ($25 Prohibition Menu).
Would definitely recommend.
