Enjoy a five course brunch tasting menu, served with your choice of coffee or tea along with your choice of beverage to accompany your meal. We have five seating's for one hour dine times. We are allowing 15 minutes between each seating to sanitize, clean and set up for the next seating.

In my opinion, the prices were too high for a diner. Cleanliness of tables and glassware was an issue. Service was good.
Just caught this! Thank you for your visit and the compliment to service. We have gone over and above the sanitization mandated by our government. Want to absolutely know where this appeared to be lacking so it can be addressed immediately. Please email me at kathy[at]fablekitchen[dot]ca Our food is sourced locally and much is housemade. This does result in higher prices than the typical 'diner'.
The food was good and tasty, the service excellent. It got a bit chilly by the windows--but otherwise a good experience and relaxed--no rushing us out the door when we had finished eating.

Very happy with the experience. Only criticism was nthe length of time to place our order. Drinks came right away, but had a long wait for server to return to take food order.

Fable is our go to place. The dinner was amazing. Dessert not so much. But either way. We love it there and glad we fit to spend our love day at our favorite brunch spot

First time trying it with 3 friends joining. Staff was great and very accommodating to different food palates. Giving the food a 3/5 stars for a couple of reasons: I had the Fable burger and really liked it though the fries were a bit too salty -- next time I'll ask for my fries unsalted and add my own to taste. One person in my party had the vegan salad and found it strange that the potatoes in the salad were warm but the kale wasn't -- she would have preferred the entire salad to be warm. Two people in my group sent back their soup of the day as it was served barely room temperature and they had to had to ask for it to be heated; it was tasty though. Finally, one person ordered the pulled pork and found it to be more chunky than pulled, and also too dry; had to request more sauce to be added to it. She won't order it again but is willing to come back to try other dishes. The diner seems to be doing well and we will definitely give it another chance.

We had such a good time at the fable diner, its a must go again for us.
The hostess went out of her way to our change the reservation for the added numbers to our party was much appreciated.
The food is consistently very good at this restaurant, with the service being the same. Max our server that evening was great; friendly and fun, with the perfect balance of professionalism and familiarity. We mostly all had the burgers that night with the exception of one that had the steak, and all items were delivered hot and to order. The fries were also the best we've had in a long while and the shakes are not to be missed.
I want to keep it all to myself, but I think the secret is already out by the fact that it was full of happy patrons. It deserves the stars and it certainly can't be slighted for any reason that evening. We will be back!

Appetizers and main dish was good.
Dessert was lame.
Our two DOV desserts have gotten good reviews. Please email us and let us know which dessert was tried (or all?) and how it/they came accross as lame. The feedback is valued.
Mains dishes were so salty. Very very heavy favour. We only ate a little bit then ask for pack up, the server didn’t even ask how’s the dishes.

The restaurant is beautiful and well maintained. They even have a baby-changing station in the men's/handicap washroom, which is very considerate of all who might need it. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic. The selection of shakes was very tempting - we'll be back!
