Fabbrica At Thornbury

We dined at Fabbrica recently. Dinner was excellent. Peter, our server, was professional, courteous and attentive. We enjoyed a lovely evening in a beautiful setting. Thank you.

The veal parm was an excellent sized serving! The 3 pastas were on the small side. The duck ragout pasta special should have more duck in it. The gnocchi should be a larger serving and was good but not mind blowing

Not rushed. no 1.5 hr limit was good. sick of being rushed.

Great service but we did not feel we were rushed. I tried the special pasta which was delicious and good value. Even a simple order like our Caesar salad was excellent. We definately will be back many more times.

The food was good but was not special to match the premium price. Unfortunately we were seated in the back corner of the restaurant so we missed any “ambiance” that could have been experienced in the main dining room area.

We always enjoy the food ,atmosphere and excellent service.

Food and service was awesome! Table was small and cramped for the dishes we ordered. Enjoyed being able to get out again for a wonderful meal!

Excellent food, as always. Very attentive service. A bit loud but not annoyingly so. Not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet dining experience.

As usual the meal was excellent. I also liked that the restaurant has maintained spacing between tables even though Grey/Bruce is now in a Green zone.

This was our second visit. We love the Fabbrica in Don Mills and I shop at McEwans supermarket every week. Knowing there's a Fabbrica in Thornbury is seriously making me consider buying a cottage close by. The food was excellent as always and our server (I believe it was Derek) was very friendly and attending. I also spoke to the manager Megan during the day who was super friendly as well. The only small critique I would have was the Martini. I ordered a Gibson but you did not have any onions. Then when the Martini came it had too much Vermouth. But this did not take anything away from a perfect evening.

We had a great dinner out at Fabbrica. The food was delicious (get the agnolotti) and the staff were excellent. The only negative feedback would be our waiter may have assumed we were driving (we were not) and therefore we had to ask a few times for our drinks. When we mentioned my dad was picking us up, he said "tell your dad I say thank you" assuming my dad bought the meal because we left him a very large tip to be kind knowing the difficult circumstances with Covid. My dad was not paying, I was and so I found that comment slightly offensive.

Great atmosphere. Mindful of all social distancing and most of all delicious food.

It was our first time st Fabrica and won't be our last. The food was great. We all loved our meals. I had the celery root agnolotti. It was very good but I could have eaten a slightly larger portion.

Excellent choice of entrees & apps. Enjoyed the lobster pasta, husband had the special - pasta with baby clams. Dessert was excellent. Service spot on. Lovely, elegant, quiet restaurant. Food outstanding.

We had a wonderful dinner for my wife's birthday. Our waitress was amazing and the rest of the staff was very attentive. We will be back.

Servers Jan and Peter seemed very happy to be back at work and we were very happy to be there!
I enjoyed the green salad, so fresh! And I had the veal parmigiana. Delicious. Very large portion!
The men split the beef carpaccio and both had outstanding pasta dishes, the special linguine with clams and the chilli short rib parpadell.
It was so special to have an in dining experience at last!

Once again, lots of exceptional menu items. We shared appetizers - pot caught octopus and PEI oysters - both wonderful. We had main courses of burger & fries and veal scaloppini - great. The service was impeccable, as usual. Thanks so much - we'll be back soon.

Food was delicious. Service was even better! Our sever (female and blonde) was so knowledgeable and very outgoing. Would come back next time we’re in the area!
