   We typically dine at the Curry Ford area location but the parking is difficult and my elderly parents were I. Town so I wanted to be able to get in and out earlier. Our server I think just might’ve had a bad day and was short and just rude. I’m not going to include his name and will just chalk it up to a bad day. But the food was surprisingly not a good experience at this location. My parents wanted veal piccata but the server said and I quote… “you should try the veal parm, it’s not on the menu but we have it tonight and it’s so tender” so that’s what they ordered. It came out and they couldn’t even cut it. It was like a well done steak. They tried but couldn’t even chew it. I told the server and was shocked at his response. He said… “well you wanted the picatta and chose the parm, veal parm is fried and will always be more dense and I’m surprised you wouldn’t know that” we all just stared at each other in amazement and I asked him to please give us a minute. He was raising my BP. So after a pause we decided on the Chicken Picatta instead. It took a really long time, and I had finished my meal, and our salads and sat and sat. So I got up and very politely said to our server…would you mind putting the chicken picatta to go so we can just have it at home…he copped an attitude again and said… “ you know we are doing the best we can but we are busy” I said, look I understand that, I thought by getting it to go it would help free up the booth for you, and also I would like a tiramisu to go… response I got? Uggh. Like I said maybe he was just having a bad day. We order delivery from here because we live in the area but we will dine in at the other location.

   Overall great experience. Scratch kitchen which is why I chose it. Cute restaurant. Only about a dozen tables. Went for Valentines day and we were a bit over dressed. Craig was our server. He was attentive, personable and overall a great server. Hard to find great service these days. All the food we tried was really good. They ran out of lasagna and stuffed mushrooms so we will be back to check those items out. Highly recommend for a low key Italian joint.

   The food here was really good. We loved the pizza and the sangria was also really good, prices were fair. However, we will probably only ever get take out if we decide to dine here again because this restaurant fell short majorly when it came to the service. We made a reservation for four for a booth at 7:30, we arrived at 7:25 and were told “there were no tables and that we ‘may’ be able to get a table in 30 minutes” even though we had a reservation. The hostess was very rude and never spoke to us directly again. Another group of four came in after us about 15 minutes later and was sat in a booth immediately? The hostess did not even look us in the face and did not even explain why other people were sat before us. The man who i assume was the owner came up to us and asked if we were part of a group of 14 that were coming at 7:45 which they were holding tables for which also upset us since they were preparing for a 7:45 reservation but did not accommodate our 7:30? When we were finally sat 30 minutes later, we were not even sat at a booth and were set up at a very small, crowded high top table where we barely had room for our meals. I would like to note that our actual waitress was pleasant but all other staff we interacted with were rude and not accommodating at all. After waiting for as long as we did, we also felt like we were being pushed out as soon as we got close to finishing our meals. Overall, the food was good but with service that bad we probably will not be back.

   Emily was our server and was friendly and professional. Mussels were terrific and so was the pizza.

   We were seated quickly and the food appitizers came out fast. Waitrist was friendly the food was authetic and good I come here all the time. The brick oven pizza is good.

    Wonderful Italian food! Good service. The air conditioning wasn’t working so it was hot but not unbearable. Very good local Italian spot
