Ezard at Levantine Hill is a gastronomic partnership between hatted chef Teage Ezard and Levantine Hill Estate.
In amongst the stunning bucolic vineyard views, visitors can enjoy Levantine Hill wines matched to dishes inspired by the classic food styles of Europe, which Teage Ezard has enhanced with new flavors and combinations.
The space has been personally designed by renowned architect Karl Fender of Fender Katsalidis Architects. The 100 meter sweep of the curved roof of the venue and the private barrel-like tasting booths reference the sleek curves of a wine barrel.
Our All Day Dining space offers sharing plates to be enjoyed with great wine and company. Feast on our charcuterie or cheese selections, treat yourself from our selection of delicacies or relax and indulge in our generous, shared style grazing menu.

Whilst the food was tasty it was disappointing about the service we received on this day. We had a lunch reservation 1.15pm on Labour Day for 3 people and chose to do the grazing menu. Right from the start it took us a while to be seated. 3 wait staff told us it won't be long before we finally got seated (10-15 minutes). There were not enough menus either so we were sharing 2 between 3 people and no one to take our order. We waited 20 minutes before flagging some one down to get our order and drinks. Our small plates arrived and we still had not gotten our drinks (2 glasses of wine). The drinks came when we were halfway through our small plates. Main plates took about 40 minutes to arrive with the lamb, pasta and salad coming ahead of the duck. There was then a huge delay (about another 40 minutes) between mains and desserts coming out. Levantine hill states that reservations are only for 2 hours and with the lengthy delays for our food our lunch experience went for about 2.5 hours. We can commend that the food was delicious when it came out however the service and time taken to get all our order was lengthy and definitely soured our overall experience. I know it was a public holiday and can be busy, we hope that management takes this into consideration to staff the restaurant adequately to cope with this demand.

Had a group of 7 on a Saturday lunchtime. The staff were unbelievable in their attention as 2 of our party were a coeliac and a vegan...( notified restaurant on booking) .. Nothing was too much trouble, very professional and we all enjoyed our grazing menu of 12 courses. Wine great as well. Fantastic experience . Although it is not a small area, the restaurant has intimate spaces with a low noise level. Recommended.

Excellent venue, friendly staff and variety of great food. We had a group of 4 and ate our way through the small plate menu; what an enjoyable way to experience the variety and quality of outstanding food. Smoked trout, oysters and Wagyu sliders standout. The estate Rose was an excellent matching wine. Finished off with cheese and the Botytris reisling. YUM !

We loved our dining experience. The food was exceptional (especially the foie gras). Our waiter Christopher was wonderful. I gave 4 stars as the other girl who was our waiter let the service down.

Unfortunately our lunch was disappointing. Poor service. We had to wait for Manager to ask if we have drinks and take our order. Waited an hour before main meal only to be told they would put it through "now". Food is great but bitter sweet due to service. We did however get an apology and a bottle of wine which made up for it.

Beautiful location, amazing food (we had the grazing menu), recommend the Sauvignon Semillon and their Rose, the Syrah was delicious and the Sommelier was very knowledgeable and interesting. This was my second visit and both times have been so happy. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately the overall choice of food was a little limited. Cost was excessive. $17.60 for a bowl of fries. Staff were friendly, but appeared a little inexperienced. Had a bottle of wine $96, but overall $320 for 2 people. It was a Sunday with the 10% surcharge. Lamb shoulder was tasty, but pasta was bland. Disappointing, glad we had a voucher.

A beautiful lunch experience, great service and couldn't fault any aspect of our visit. From the greeting to the farewell all the staff were totally professional and accommodating. A great team environment!

We love dinning at Levatine. The food is amazing, fabulous value for money. Wait staff that can not only give advise on the food and wine, but you would feel quite comfortable leaving selections to them.
Highly recommend.

Very very very poor service. A strong lesson in how quickly terrible service can make good food a bad experience.

I think the kitchen or server forgot 1/2 of our order. My meal (lamb pita and then the lamb shoulder) came out slowly but not a problem except that my wife’s entire meal came out well after I had received mine. After we asked for it. She ordered a salad, sliders and chips.

We asked if a salad always took a half hour - the server told me they were quite busy. I would say the restaurant was about 75% empty the entire time we where seated. And other guests who arrived and ordered after us where served sliders and chips while my wife waited.

At one point I asked the server for more sparkling water, he told me absolutely right away. Five minutes later I still had an empty glass and asked another server who then reached right behind us ( seated at the tables closest to the bar) picked up the bottle and filled my glass. Pretty sure he didn’t need to take as much as two steps.

Arguably some of the worst service I have experienced at a venue that serves otherwise good food. Would never go back or recommend.

The food is overpriced and very, very underwhelming. We are happy to pay top dollar, if the food is extraordinary and Ezard's certainly is not. Expect to pay $6 each oyster with a simple dressing, close to $40 for risotto of zucchini and squid and well over $50 for anything more exciting. Normally the desserts can wow, but these were fairly basic. Whilst we like attentive waiters, ours was well too eager and couldn't read the vibe of the table coming back numerous times within a short period of time to see if we were ready to order - the team weren't very experienced with sequence of service - mains arriving while empty entree plates still at table.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with lunch at Levantine Hill and really enjoyed the dishes we tried, particularly the lamb shoulder and barramundi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a real buzz about it with all the tables occupied, but the noise levels were very reasonable and that view is gorgeous.

We have a good time at Levantine Hill. Atmosphere was good, food was good. Service was a little slow, maybe not enough staff. But overall is good and will definitely go back again.

Generally not much of a selection in relation to the menu. What was served was very small for the price. Irrespective of the price, the portions were just too small. Service was slow even when the venue was not overly busy. To make things worse, after a lengthy wait for our mains, my wife found hair in her food. This then changed after bringing the matter to the managers attention and they did not charge for one of the mains.

First time at Levantine. Whilst the location, architecture and ambience of the place is first class, the food and value is a little bit of a letdown. Sliders were great but the mains were a bit of a letdown. Overall I'd rate it just above middle of the road. One of the places I always wanted to visit, but probably won't go back.

Great ambience excellent venue, lovely vineyards. Quiet day, but plenty of staff to attend to requests.
The sculptures scattered throughout were interesting and added to the overall attraction of Ezards. Highly recommend the laid back afternoon of great food, great wine and great company!

Delicious as always. I've been here a few times with friends for special occasions or just a winter girls lunch and it never disappoints! Such beautiful surrounds and amazing food and wine. Staff and very friendly and knowledgeable also. The Pinot Noir is our absolute favourite. Beef cheek melts in your mouth. Will be back!

Heavy lunch and overpriced for what it was.
7 people for an afternoon birthday lunch and we ‘had’ to do the all day dining option.
I felt it was a bit heavy - the taste was ok but not great. For $95 a head and the venue I had high expectations. - maybe this was the problem.
It’s possible if we had a chance to pick our dishes - even given SOME options would of been better.
Dessert was probably the pick and I’m not a dessert person.
Might go back.

Excellent service and food! We were delighted to be seated in one of the barrel booths (I had made a special request as my in laws were visiting from QLD). Could not fault the food, service or ambience! Delicious wines too. We had the best time, will be back :)

This was our second visit to Levantine Hill after an excellent first visit. There is a lively but relaxed atmosphere, the dishes arrive in good time and when ordering multiple tasting plates, there is a nice gap between serving times. The crew are very engaging without being intrusive and appear to really enjoy working there. The other thing I noticed is just how proud they seem of the meals they serve and the wines they pour. I can not recommend it highly enough.
