About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Vegetarian-friendly
  • Innovative
From Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar, the creators of Ettan, Copra and Little Blue Door, Eylan offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India. The bar program by West-Bev and Christopher Longoria draws upon the kaleidoscope of ingredients and techniques that make up global cocktail culture, while also taking inspiration from the culinary traditions of India. Wine director Andre Sydnor's program offers depth in classic regions like Burgundy, Champagne, Piedmont, and California, offering a variety of options for casual wine lovers while including more exclusive selections for serious oenophiles.

Outstanding! I loved everything! The cocktails were so unique and perfect. The food was the same. If you love Indian food, this is a cut above. Pure pleasure, and the staff is exceptional as well. Love🙌🏻

If it were not for the high prices we would be back more often. $65 for corkage is way too much. The shrimp were extraordinarily good. The cod was very good but the little overcooked potatoes served with it was a distraction. The crab appetizer was good. The frozen mango lassi was good.

These folks still don't know what they are doing and the service remains awful. This is our second visit. The first time we dismissed the disorganized and incredibly slow service to the fact they had only been open a month. But the servers still don't know what they doing, bringing dishes for family style eating with no serving spoons, needing constant reminders of things such as turning on the heater or bringing another beer. They even spilled a beer on me this last time. The food, once you get it (this place is REALLY slow), is pretty good if a little spicy. Majorly overpriced wine list.

First off, the service was very good and attentive. We being vegetarians, found many choices, and quite unique. Taste and presentation were very good. One thing was the noise level was quite high, and hard often times found it hard to hear the person even right across. Sincerely hope you are able to fix this. Otherwise, all other aspects were very good.

A very nice addition to the Menlo Park food scene. I think they are still getting the kinks out. The waiter was good but the servers did not know which sauce and other items went with which meal. I think a little more training and experience will iron out all these kinks.

The food was enjoyable, with the Eylan crispy chicken being a clear standout, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
