Evolution Public House Ratings and Reviews
Great dining experience except there was a game on the TVs in the dining room and the noise level was ridiculous. Was having dinner with friends and we could not hear our own conversation in our own booth. Would expect that level of noise in the bar but not the dining room.
This restaurant and brewery exceeded our expectations. We had a pleasant experience from the moment we walked into the restaurant until we left. The hostesses, waitress, and Gen Mgr Jason were all professional and friendly. The beer flight, charcuterie appetizer, and main entrees were all great. Make this a stop on your next Salisbury trip!
A home run on all fronts! Great beer, excellent food, and friendly staff! The food is better than your usual pub fare, with creative dishes prepared with local ingredients. My wife and I had had a long, hot, dirty day, cleaning out an old house. We needed a fun, relaxing restaurant with good food and drink, and Evolution was perfect! Next time I'm in the area, I plan to got to Evolution again.
Our party of eight went here to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. A number of us cannot eat gluten and Evo Public House has a number of delicious gluten free dishes - especially the risotto. Everyone in our party agreed that their meal was delicious!
They do not have gluten free options for dessert so we brought our own gluten free cake. The service could not have been better. Would love to go back.
I have typically found EVO overpriced for the value of the food. I wanted to try their brunch since the menu looked so good, but unfortunately picked Mother's Day for that day. Their full brunch menu was not available and instead was a $28 buffet. I can understand spending $28 on a buffet, but the price wasn't worth what they offered. There was pasta salad that looked to be from Walmart, bacon, sausage, brisket hash (this was good), potatoes, bacon, pancakes (burnt), omelet station (limited items - I believe 6), brisket (this was good too), bread that I know was from Walmart, and beignets (these were okay). The mimosas were $5. My bill was over $130 for 4 people. Absurd!
I was impressed with the prompt service as well as the overall appearance of the restaurant. The menu options were engaging and the daily specials even better. Food was prepared promptly and was delicious. I would definitely recommend this location to any local diners.
Tasty food, great fresh beer, and outdoor patio seating are all excellent!! Nice place to stop on the way to or from the beach. View of gravel and dusty parking lot does not detract from the overall excellent dining experience. Bought some bottled beer to take home. Will return!
Used to love this place - not anymore. New girl at the front who rather than focusing on how to make customers happy, she tells you how things are.
Food was good - farm salad and garlic bread not advertised.
Used to love this place and came here often. Now I feel unwelcome.
The worst experience we ever had here. We usually eat here once or twice a month. To start with, they said we did not have a reservation, then they put us at a high table when I requested a standard. They found a standard and moved us to the dining room. We sat at the table for twenty minutes with absolutely no one ever acknowledging that we were there. There was wait staff serving all around us, but I guess they thought we were red headed step children who nobody wants to talk to. We got up and left. As we were going out the door a very nice young lady said thank you and asked how our meal was. We told her we were never served as we were walking past her. She put the plates down she was carrying and tried to get us to come back, but we had had it and left. Don't know if we will ever come back We are very disappointed with your establishment.
