Very pleasant and enjoyable. Would go back in a second.
Delicious food with a great ambiance! Our second time here and we love it just like the first.
Great local spot. Italian entres are big enough to share. Lively bar
It was too loud the service was not great but the food was excellent
Great food, great wait staff. A bit too noisy, but we will be back.
Food was amazing and great service.
I visited EVO for girls night out and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, I got the lobster carbonara and it was amazing!!!! Everything we had was amazing, the service was great! Ask for Bart, he’s the best. I will def the best, I will be returning for date night.
Made a reservation for a party of 5. We were crammed into a bar booth that was far too small for 5 people, and told we could not be moved. There was an open 6 top next to us the entire time, but the host claimed there was a reservation coming in and we couldn’t sit there. Food was so so at the very best. Will not return.
Food was not as good as previous visits. The service was VERY LACKLUSTER. Our server barely acknowledged us after taking order and we even waited a long time at the end for our check. Our food, including lasagna, fish, pasta, shrimp were all better than average but not overwhelmingly good. We brought friends from out of town so that made it more disappointing.
Good place... great food. Loved our servers suggestions... for food
It was very dark, hard to see the menu. Seems to be the trend in AZ restaurants (we are from NY). We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday and we were presented with customized menus AFTER the original menus were handed out (opps) but a free butter cake dessert was a sweet ending.
Went with a couple friends who hadn’t been before. Loved it. Words from them were “perfect date spot” “amazing food” “great HH” “why haven’t we been here yet?!”
I typically don’t write reviews, but Bart deserves a shout out! He was very knowledgeable and knew the menu in such detail that it made our mouths water. Perfectly paired our wines with the food. We had a great first experience and will definitely be back with friends! Thanks again Bart (like Bart Simpson)!
The NYE dinner night was a great date! The food was delicious and we loved the additional wine pairing to the 4 course meal! Love this restaurant. However, we felt rushed for each course, the next course would come out to our table before I finished the current course.
The food was amazing! We are there on New Year's and they were backed up for our reservations. They comped us a bottle of champagne and our first round of drinks. The food was spectacular. My only complaint was the dessert. It did not measure up to the status of the food. I loved my cocktail, it was perfect! I did the pairing and my wine was excellent!
My only complaint is that when I made our reservation for New Year's Eve, the website didn't state that it was a prefixed menu. I would have chosen a different day for dinner.
We came in for New Years Eve dinner. The staff was all so kind, accommodating and efficient! The food came out so fast, great normally but we couldn’t finish one dish before another was brought out which then made us feel very rushed. I get it, turning table quickly is where the money is However it kinda gave us a bad feeling and left us with some cooled down entrees. The food was good the desserts were way better!
One of the best meals we've ever had. Phenomenal gnocchi and lobster!
The food was good. Our server was not. It was chilly in the restaurant and the ladies kept our jackets over our shoulders. This place is definitely worth going, as long as you have a server who isn’t more pre occupied with socializing with his co workers than he is with taking care of your table. Don’t get the chicken picatta. Probably the worst I’ve tried. The scallops and spaghetti were very good.
Visiting Scottsdale for our wedding anniversary, and a friend recommended dinner at EVO. The recommendation did not disappoint! The atmosphere was energetic yet casual, and the service outstanding. Seated at a high top table in the bar, Dominic took exceptional care of us and made sure it was an experience fitting of celebrating 36 years. Highly recommend EVO and we will visit again when in the city.
The Shrimp appetizer with Chorizo was the best I've ever had! The whole meal was great, appetizers, entrees and desert
thry We’re understaffed and it showed. We ask two times for a promotion we had to be added into the bill and they came over once to our table. Really disappointing as I have been talking about going here for months
Food was average. We had high hopes based on the reviews but the pasta was bland, and focaccia was just plain bread with some butter and herbs. Pizza was the best bet.
The pizza is my favorite among the dishes we tried. Recommend the shrimp chili pasta.
Everything was great. All of our servers were very nice and knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. Gave great recommendations on the favorites of the menu and wine list and happy hour specials. Overall, it was a great experience and we look forward to going back.
Fun spot to go. Think they pull off the idea they had dealt well. Good Italian and great for adults.
Octopus is a great appetizer but need a slice of lemon to add some citrus freshness to it. Ordered the Day Boat Scallops for dinner and was not disappointed. My date ordered the lobster carbonara which I thought was delicious but she wasn’t a fan of the char preparation method. The server was nice but let the glasses empty for awhile. I would have ordered a second glass of wine but by the time he came back around dinner was over. Ambiance was great. Price wasn’t outrageous.
We met my nephew and his wife for dinner on Christmas Eve. We were seated promptly for our reservation and greeted by our server. The service was efficient and the meals were delivered hot and delicious. The ambience is comfortable but a bit on the noisy side. We were, however, able to converse easily. When in the area again, we would seriously consider returning to EVO.
It was just ok. We attempted to share a number of items and the timing was off. Once the restaurant became busy the service declined. The food was ok - not fantastic.
The bartenders were very helpful and interactive
Lobster Gnocchi and everything else was to die for. Was an awesome evening. Only thing would be that it was pretty loud, but that is just an observation.
Never been to Evo before and decided to take my wife for her birthday dinner and it was probably one of the best spots we have ever been to. Service, food and management all amazing.
The service and food was excellent. The noise level was the loudest I have ever experienced.
All good and very happy with our experience. The food was amazing!!
Average food. The meatballs were the same as Bolognase. My husband ordered a salad and it was burnt. Super random.
We had a bad located table, and the waitress was less than friendly. The burger was good.
A fun and worthwhile experience. The food with excellent, although the lobster carbonara was a disappointment. While the lobster was very good, gnocchi was a strange choice of pasta to go with it; too heavy, doughy. I should have read the fine print that mentioned gnocchi; if I had, I never would have ordered that dish. Lighten it up with a more traditional pasta choice that you expect in a carbonara.
Unfortunately, there was a very large dinner party situated right in the middle of the restaurant and they were extremely loud, so it made our date night dinner a little disappointing. Food was good as always, although the pasta came out clumped together and I couldn't separate the individual pasta. This is the only sub par experience I've had there though.
