So we ended up here because dining out is apparently super popular in Louisville right now as we all come back to life... to the point that all of our go-tos were completely booked. After a little research on the team that put the restaurant together (formerly from Proof and Harvest), and a scan of the menu on social media, we made our reservation. From start to finish our experience was impeccable. Skeptical about hummus, but willing to branch out because EVERY other person said to get it, we did. It was not a mistake. Just do it. It’s not what you will expect. It did take a while to for it to get to our table, and since we were waiting a bit, the chef sent out a side of mushrooms. While we didn’t order it to begin with, we will ALWAYS order it when we return. The short rib did not disappoint, and the creamed spinach was excellent too. The special birthday ice cream sandwich and espresso (that wasn’t on the menu, but appeared after request) ended the meal perfectly. We had a few cocktails each and the bill was very reasonable, and I expected it to be much more. We will definitely return, and we are so glad we stumbled upon this before the rest of the city found it!

We were looking for something different and just happened upon this restaurant as we were sitting at the traffic light, we googled the restaurant name and discovered it’s menu which appeared to be very appealing to us. We then went to open table and booked a table, we were really happy that we did, what a fantastic meal we had our service was top notch, very clean interior, open airy not stuffy, very kid friendly as well. Multiple local and state bourbon’s and special cocktails, a very nice wine list with national & international wines offered. Hearty portions of food with each course our waitress even told us “ unless “ you’re a huge eaters a single side works for two. This restaurant has only been open for 7 days but we will be back!!

We had a great time! Group of 4 and we shared plates throughout the evening. There was no menu online and the pricing suggested $31 -$55 an entrée so we knew there was a bit of a risk to our evening. Our reservations were early (5pm) and we were one of two groups so it was very quiet but I am sure the noise level could be significant with a normal dinner crowd. Ordered drinks and Hummus (served warm) and we loved it. We had three dinners (Cavatelli, Prawns and Hamburger) and a combination of vegetable sides (Brussel sprouts, mushrooms, spinach and ) to go along with sides that were served with the entrees. Portions are not huge (other than the hamburger) but they are satisfying and tasted great. The most favorite entree was the Hamburger and the favored side was the mushrooms but I would not talk anyone out of any choice. Bourbon and drink prices are very fair for this type of restaurant. Bill was $200 before tip and we had 6 drinks at the table. I shared a little bit more than usual because it is a newer restaurant.
Highly Recommended!!!

The burger was one of my all time favorites. The daily beast was lamb shank. It was delicious. Both came with excellent potatoes. The hummus brûlée was genius. How come I’ve never seen it at a restaurant previously? The cocktails were excellent.

Everyday Kitchen was fantastic. We are so excited to have it in the Louisville area. This restaurant was spacious and open with nice natural lighting. Excellent service. Even better food and cocktail menu. My husband and I went with our five month old - family's first outing- and it was perfect. We felt well taken care of and safe. I highly recommend to Louisvillians looking for something new and fresh, or for out of towners who want something reliable and welcoming.
