                                                                                                                                                only one other table of diners so atmosphere a little cold. waiter was a little stiff ,but maybe he was new. mentioned it was a birthday when I booked but no reaction to this. Owner needs to advertise more & make eating there a little more jolly.

                                                                                                                                                Food was good, but not amazing. My chicken tandoori starter and slow cooked lamb main courses were cooked perfectly and the meat was nice and soft, but the layering of spices was quite basic. Paratha was interesting - very nice but more like nan bread. This restaurant is okay for an everyday meal and good value (3 courses and a large beer for £30), but interior decor and lighting somewhat random giving no ambiance.

As good & better than HOX which had been our usual indian restaurant for years. Everyone enjoyed their meal & it will become a family favourite
