   It was very nice, the food was great the lighting was perfect and so was the music. At the end they did put a big part by our table that was having a birthday, we did not like that to well but over all it was a great evening.

   Good food and wine was good and perfectly chilled. Didn’t really have any complaints except for time between entrees.. long waits between getting wine, then getting food and then long wait for dessert.

   Had intended to stay and eat at this resort for the weekend, that didn't happen. We had Valentine's night reservations, we sat at 630. We quickly got our water, wine, bread and salad. And then nothing else. People came in after us and were done eating and we were still waiting for our entree, which was the special of the day. About 8pm, our server apologized and said our meal would be comped, so we continued to wait. At 845, with still no food, out of water and wine we got up and left. Local areas stop serving around 9pm and we wanted to make sure we were able to get dinner somewhere at this point. They comped our meal that was on the hotel reservation, but that was useless since our entree never arrived. Have no plans to visit this restaurant again.

   Food was very delicious, our wait person was personable, overall wonderful experience. Hope Salishan does Valentine’s Day again!

   Dinner was beautiful. Could have used more seasonings except the mashed potatoes which had horseradish in them. I skipped over them, my husband loved them. He loves the horseradish. Cheesecake was a little bland, tasted mostly the graham crust. Waitress was very attentive. The very best thing was the olive bread with blasamic fig butter. Wow, I have never had anything like it but it was absolutely delicious!!!

   We eat regularly at Salishan because we own a house on the coast close by. We did not know that this meal was going to be served in a large noisy ballroom. The food was pretty good, but for $65.00 per person and a $40.00 gratuity it was way too expensive. I thought we would have a nicer quiet Thanksgiving meal inside a real restaurant.

   I understand that it is hard to set up a buffet for a holiday, but I expected so much more for $65+20% gratuity per person. I didn't see the menu prior to my reservation and I thought it was my only option to eat at. The buffet was set up in a ballroom and we had to get our own alcoholic beverages. My reservation was for the last time seated, so the buffet table was messy and half empty. I did like the green salad with beets and the salmon dish. The dessert table was underwhelming with mushy apple and pumpkin pies. There were no petit fours to taste by the time I was ready for dessert. Overall the food was ordinary and not worthy of the price. I wish I did better research to find a place for a Thanksgiving meal. My stay at the resort itself was great, just avoid the buffet.

   ta cost of $65 per person, our expectations for the Thanksgiving meal were dashed. The food was served in buffet style. The food was cold - cold meat, cold potatoes, cold vegetables. The line to get into the table area was long and slow. While the servers were friendly, it didn't make up for the poor food. Definitely not worth $65 per person. Will never do Thanksgiving meal at Salishan in the future. This was not in keeping with the resort's reputation of a higher quality experience.

   I was disappointed that the meal was served in a banquet room. The table settings did not evoke a special day. When we booked this I thought the meal would be in the hotel’s restaurant with table service and beautiful views, it was in a large hall with no windows. The service was less than awesome. While the quality of the food was outstanding! For the $65 per head meal plus automatic 20% gratuity. I expected more in terms of service and ambiance. (Another drawback, the desert table was wiped out by the time my family was seated, while the main courses were spot on, the leftover desserts were pathetic)
