   Overall the food was very good. Terrific flavors dazzled the senses. The draw back- the stone crab appetizer. For $27 we received one claw with maybe an ounce of crab meat. A forkful for each of us. Although the presentation was impressive, the value was insulting. Evelyn’s is still a must go.

   We went to Evelyn’s to celebrate my son’s birthday and we had a wonderful time! Our expectations were met and exceded by far. The food, the view, the service, the birthday desert… wowww!!! I want to go back and stay at the hotel to be able to enjoy Evelyn’s for a few days in a row. Best restaurant in the area! It had to be Four Seasons

   Based on reviews of this restaurant, we expected a quiet, high-end experience (certainly the pricing would suggest this would be the case). Instead, we got a noisy, hectic restaurant with small portions and very high prices. The service was reasonable - although slower than it should have been in terms of getting our initial service of drinks. Lots of people checked in to see how we liked our experience, and our server tried hard and was very informative. But they should focus on attentive, refined service rather than lots of people stopping in to see how we like our food. The food was good and different did not reflect the pricing. Overall, I would not recommend the restaurant unless you are staying at the hotel or just want to eat at the Four Seasons.

   I absolutely love this place! We had an amazing anniversary dinner and was wined and dined by Christian, our server! He described every dish and gave amazing recommendations! Thank you to Brandon the chef for his amazing food and kindness! We will be returning!

   Overall, I expected for upscale dining, there would be table cloths or at least place mats on the outside tables. Food was delicious. However, we asked for the steak and fish to be well-done. It was medium. Waiter did not write down our request for food. Can always expect one thing to be missing or not done. Service—-Host had tables outside but tried to defer us to inside table. Why? Table initially taken outside had a plant overgrowing onto it. Table we sat at was a high flow table (constant servers coming out door had to go around our table). Two other suitable sized tables in a more appropriate area remained empty the entire time we were there for our meal. Ambiance—relaxing if it wasn’t for the constant passing by of servers, unpleasant smell in the air at end of evening. Value—-very high priced—-whole branzino was $95 wow!!, twice the price you pay elsewhere at high end restaurants. Noise level—-moderate, woman at another table had high squeeky voice & spoke loudly. Music played through speakers were at a good level.

    We had a wonderful experience at Evelyn’s. We went for my birthday dinner and were greeted by multiple servers who wished me a happy birthday. We had the option of choosing indoor or outdoor seating. Our waitor Plemon was awesome and so was Laura. Laura was giving us tips on which location to take sunset pics and even took photos for us! The food was delicious! Towards the end of the night, the chef Brandon Soloman came to greet us. That was cool! Overall we had an awesome experience!

    We are used to expensive restaurants but this was in a class of its own. $50 for a meze of hummus, $95 for a branzino, $120 for steak. Not a good value and well we normally enjoy salmon, medium rare, this was exceptionally mushy. When asked by the manager, how things tasted, we told him, and it went in one ear and out the other. Not a great experience and exceptionally noisy venue. one and done.

    I truly encourage everyone to experience Evelyn’s. Starting from the cocktails that were meticulously crafted and tasteful. We sat on a booth overlooking the entire restaurant and felt this attractive vibe. Once the food came out I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and even more so by the taste of it all. The finishes on the dishes were beautiful and I can basically swim in the truffle hummus, honestly one of the best things I’ve ever had. The whole branzino was prepared perfectly, and the pavlova is the perfect end to this our amazing dinner.

    Evelyn’s gives you the dining experience and cuisine to inspire, to celebrate, to connect with food wine and loved ones. This is my third time dining here and each time, I’m even more impressed with how attentive, professional and delicious! The wood fired acorn squash with Cinco Jotes Jamón, a special dish from the Miami Gastro Tour is out of this world good. Flawless preparation of squash. You must try the Labneh paired with the charred red pepper hummus and always a Jerusalem bagel. The pear apple fattoush is delightful paired with anything; bright and satisfying. Don’t forget a side batata harra for an indulgent side dish. Last pro tip- ask for Chef Brandon’s hot sauce when you start your meal! Thank you Team Evelyn’s and Laura, know how to make us feel special!

    The fall additions to the already amazing menu of Evelyns shows the chefs passion for seasons and makes you feel just as cozy as a warm crackling fire. From the team to the space this place is a must try in Florida (yes not just Fort Lauderdale) to feel papered and at home all at the same time.

    I've been to Evelyn's when it was first opened and it was spectacular. My friends from NY were in town who are big critics of any Florida food, and boy did it exceed their expectations!! Best meal they ever had, you knock it out of the park every time Chef Brandon! So creative and always so personable.     My second time dining here and it was even better than the first! If you love a beautiful dining experience with excellent service and delicious well thought out and executed food, you must dine here. Chef Brandon and his team are continuing to create unforgettable dining experiences. Truffled mushroom hummus spread was incredible; I love the house made hot sauce, whole roasted Bronzino, lamb chops, and Urfa-Everything Bagel…to name a few! This is a must visit!
