Evarito's Mexican Kitchen & Bar
"Evarito’s Mexican Kitchen and Bar is a contemporary concept that brings to life a bold spin on the kitchens of Mexico and the Southwest. Evarito’s is a multifaceted venue in which customers feel both welcome and intrigued as they select their choice of locations between the fire-lit dining room & bar, the relaxed outdoor patio......... or the stunning rooftop lounge (coming soon).
The “little Everett”, a small gray fox native to Mexico, is a metaphor for the clever, beautiful and discerning people for which Evarito’s has been designed.
Evarito’s is a ‘mash-up’ of authentic Mexico with today’s culinary and style trends"
Can always count on Evaritos for a tasty meal with gracious service. Always feel welcome. It's a nice place to meet friends.
It took them 1.5 hours to take our order for dinner and be served food. I also made a reservation ahead of time and they went over by 45 mins to seat us. It was my birthday so it was just a very unfortunate experience.
Amazing place with authentic and delicious food, the service is excellent.
The food was fantastic and I would have given a higher star if not for our server messing up 3 times during the night in addition to going MIA for about 20 minutes. Also, a bit pricey for Mexican...but not crazy expensive. Overall good...but turned off to the point that I will not return!
The restaurant itself is really nice and the service was great! The food on the other hand was horrible. We went on Valentine's Day with another couple, who also thought the food was horrible. Our husbands ordered fajitas al carbon and they were literally burnt, not "al carbon"! You could taste the burnt. Fajitas are normally peppers and onions, these fajitas had asparagus, cauliflower, beets, broccoli and some other greens. Not knocking the veggies bc I love all of them but when they are cooked to perfection, not burn. We had another couple, friend's of ours there too celebrating Vday who also came over to us at the end of their dinner and asked what we thought bc they too ordered fajitas and were unhappy.
Great food, great ambiance, great service. Our new go-to spot in Norwalk!!
Everything about this restaurant was great — especially the food which brought authentic mexican cuisine to a gourmet level without being pretentious or pricey. And almost everything was gluten free — a bonus for us. We will be back, soon!
Wonderful restaurant. Will be back soon especially in May when the roof opens up.
Joanna was our server and she is one of the best waitresses I have ever met, the quality of service was amazing, thank you Joanna!
The food is a fun take on Latin/Mexican dishes. The service was excellent and the food followed suit. I'll be returning for sure!
Restaurant atmosphere was great food was great The only problem was the waitress try to rush us too much Otherwise very enjoyable Evening
Met friends for happy hour - loved it here so much - stayed for dinner.... food is awesome recommend the grilled shrimp fajitas - grilled veggies than come with it are amazing! Drinks are great with fresh fruit. Will be back -want to try their brunch
It was the worst service that I have ever experienced in a restaurant she didn’t tell us about sold out specials she forgot one of our drinks she forgot to take our main course order she forgot our coffees and when I complained on the way out and asked to speak to the manager he wasn’t available not very good business for a pretty new restaurant went there for lunch last week and it was amazing I think that they should get rid of that server
It's a wonderful space. But I don't think the food is particularly especiale. Good guacamole.
Wonderful food, esp. the chorizo nachos (a special), shrimp tostada, and fish tacos. So good to find good and creative Mexican food nearby. Very friendly and efficient service.
Made a reservation for 8:15, and was seated at 8:45. They tried to make it right with a free round of drinks which we appreciated. We got the salsa sampler, which consisted of a variety of salsas but no one explained what each were so we had no idea what we were eating. We ended up finally getting our food around 9:45. Our waiter was trying to tackle a lot of tables at once. Took about 30 minutes to order another round of drinks. Overall the food was good, our waiter made good suggestions to us, it just wasn't in a timely manner which was unfortunate.
Great drinks, menu and service. Originality all around! Can't wait to go back
Worth the hour drive. Fun decor, good margaritas, and the spicy tuna tostada was fabulous.
Great spot for creative delicious food and drinks, the brunch menu was so tasty.
Had a fantastic dinner with friends and would go again!
The food is AUTHENTIC and amazing! The staff is super friendly! If you haven’t gone yet, I would highly recommend going.
Really terrific, spoke with general manager who stopped by the table to see how we were doing...she was great! Waiters and bartenders were great. the whole night was a lot of fun and very relaxing!
It was My husband’s birthday and we had fantastic time
Great food and great service, not your traditional Mex fare but has enough of the notes to make it a worthwhile visit.
Great authentic place! I loved my huevos rancheros - guacamole and chips were delish too. Absolutely LOVED the impossible cake which is one layer brownie-like cake and one layer flan - don't know how they make it and wouldn't think to put both flavors together but it totally works! Will def be back!
We had a good meal at the bar. The bartender was friendly but forgot our drink order even though we were seated right in front of him. I had to tell him twice that we ordered a margarita, a glass of wine and a club soda. The rest of the staff serving us dinner at the bar were friendly and attentive.
Great food, bit loud. Hard to carry on conversation; server was good although had a bday party to handle as well. Will go back again. Best dish - shishto pappers or beef tacos!
Good food. Good energy. Great wait staff
Trendy Mexican restaurant in Norwalk with a modern and fun vibe which also included ample seating by the bar. Food quality was very good and nicely seasoned with good combinations. We ordered guacamole with one of their entrée specials and mixed drinks and were pleased with everything. Service was excellent - friendly, attentive and well versed with their menu options. It's a great place to choose for a nice night out with friends.
The team is wonderful! Even if the food weren’t so good, drink menu so extensive and environment so “cool”, we’d still keep coming back for the warm welcome and attention.
Great tequila and drink list. Food and service are great
Tonight was our first visit and we will be returning! We love Mexican food and think Evarito’s guacamole is the best we’ve ever had. I had the grilled fish (Mahi) tacos - a winner as was my husband’s chicken enchilada dinner. Everything was so fresh. One delightful plus after the terrific food is the decor. So well done.
Husband liked the grouper. I wasn’t able to eliminate an ingredient because things are pre made. Kids in the restaurant. Our server was very nice. Probably will not return.
James is a very all encompassing waiter! The decor is amazing! The food is fabulous and authentic !
This might have been one of those worst dining experiences that our group has had in 10 years. The noise was unbearable the service terrible and the food was eaten by 2 out of 6 people. The rest went to McDonalds on the way home. We go out almost every weekend in Southern CT where we have great restaurants. This is not one of them.
Excellent restaurant in an ideal, convenient location.
Second time to Evarito's, this time with a party of four (two visitors from NYC who are accustomed to trendy NYC places) - did not disappoint, and was considered a highpoint of the weekend. Decent selection of wines; excellent choices for appetizers and substantial entrees. Fish and meats were both tasty and nicely presented. Will make us a regular!
Had some tacos, fish and chicken, tasted exactly the same, couldn’t really tell the difference and they weren’t good. Husband had an enchilada, disappointed. More than likely will not go back.
Outstanding attitude, from the person who pleasantly changed the details of our reservation to the exceptional wait staff who treated us like guests in their own home and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our drinks and food. Food was not ho-hum fare that many Mexican places dish out. Inventive dishes and lots of variety. Highly recommended.
