Evans Street Station is located in downtown Tecumseh, MI. It's a 45" drive one way every time we go there and it's worth it. The decor is very attractive, but more importantly is the quality of their creative menu and the helpful and pleasant staff. We live in AZ and visit MI twice a year. Each time we visit Evans Street. When you consider the total drive time is 90 minutes for us, you have to believe we truly enjoy it.
Of note is the Country Fried Brie starter. It's sufficient for 3 people. Other staters that are worth a try include Crispy Brussel Sprouts. For our entree' on this visit, we had Grilled Salmon, Seared Sea Scallops (very creatively done) and Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast.
Our server was Alex. She added to the joy of the evening!
Fabulous food but not pretentious. Friendly wait staff.
Excellent food, service and value on a Sunday evening.
I have been coming to Evans Street for the last year and absolutely love it. We came last weekend for my boyfriends birthday, we brought some of our friends and they all raves about it! Can’t wait to come back!
Our waitress Amy was outstanding! Food was amazing! Had a great experience will be back!!
This is a great restaurant to celebrate an occasion or just if you are in the mood for an exceptional creative meal. And drinks are interesting also. I will return in the future. We all left full and kept talking about how good it was.
The service was great and the portions very nice size. The food arrived hot and was delicious.
Fathers Day 2019. Food was excellent. Service was great and the waitress was superb. Excellent Michigan Potato Chowder, excellent prime rib, whipped potatoes and asparagus. The Bartender was fabulous at making our cocktails. I’ve been here for holiday buffets which was great but never for a regular menu meal. Everything was superb!
Nice patio out back
Great service. Food is not as good as a few years in the past.
They need to update dessert menu. Hadn’t changed in years!
Always wanted to go to Evans Street Station, so we decided to make a date night out of it. Brussel Sprout appetizer was phenomenal. We tried the BBQ Salmon and Crab dishes; both were delicious. Felt the cost was a little high for some of the dishes. Overall I would highly recommend for a special occasion.
The food was outstanding. The service was a bit slow, but there were also several large parties in the restaurant at the same time.
We recommend this restaurant to people, and we ourselves will certainly be back.
Celebrated our anniversary.
Food was great and the staff was awesome!
Food was very good. Variety of selections, craft cocktails, professional wait staff, quiet environment, overall a very nice evening.
Some of our guest travel extensively and commented that the charcuterie board was the best he ever had!
Birthday dinner. Most food good. Salmon lack luster.
Excellent service and outstanding meal!
They set us in a booth, just as requested
Our server Ashley, from the moment she explained the specials of the day to the moment she brought us our desserts, made the visit to Evans Street Station very enjoyable: she was cordial, ultra-competent, and focused on good customer service. Those who claim to dislike brussel sprouts should be invited to try them Evans Street Station style; ours were roasted and delicious. Fine cocktails, a well-composed wine list, main dishes of culinary substance and style, chocolate lava cake--what more could a diner in Southeast Michigan want? Simply put, our experience at Evans Street Station was very, very enjoyable.
Always a great place for that special dining experience.
So nice to go out to dinner to a place and be able to actually carry a conversation on without the noise level being out of control. Service & food was also great. Take notice restaurant owners! Include some room softening (ie, carpeting, upholstery, drapes.....) items to help absorb noise! Love the atmosphere here.
We always love Evans Street! Great service and delicious dinner
So glad they stopped having music.
The place is a hidden gem. It was 30 minutes away from our home, but worth the trip! My salmon was cooked perfectly, and my husband's bronzed gnocchi with short-ribs is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Our service was a bit slow, but then again, some people may prefer that more leisurely place. We were given a gift certificate and are so excited to have been able to experience this place!
Excellent food, great atmosphere. Creative cuisine. It's nice to meet friends and be assured you will have a terrific dinner and be able to stay around and have a conversation without feeling rushed, especially in the winter months. Consistently wonderful meals at Evan's Street.
A small town find that brings a certain level of elegance to the experience. If you find yourself in Tecumseh, this is a place to definitely check out for great food and drinks.
Great early dinner option...wonderful appetizer, followed by two perfectly prepared steaks. Very enjoyable meal!
Food was great drinks were great, slow service almost like we were forgotten, took over an hour to get our meals after the appetizer was taken away. The young man filling our water was the best service we had all night.
Perfectly prepared, gluten free, steak dinner. Excellent flavor with no side effects. Good wine & cocktails. Very nice birthday dinner!
It was good. Service was very slow. The waiter seemed like she had to much going on so it took a really long time for drinks. My only food complaint was the cheesecake was tiny. The apps and entrees were perfect.
We had an amazing experience here at Evans Street Station! I reserved a table for 2 and asked to sit outside if possible (because it was gorgeous out) and my request was perfectly accommodated!
Thank you so much for the special night.
On a Saturday night the place was not crowded. My steak was great but I was not impressed with the gazpacho. I would go back again, but choose another soup.
Tecumseh is not in a major metro area but worth the trip (in my case around 45"). We've been here last year and make it a point to dine here. The environment is very pleasant, the menu is always creative with new additions and the service has always been excellent.
We were also celebrating a relative's 94th birthday and she absolutely loved it as well and is adventuresome.
Of interest, the server staff has been there for several years as well.
Country Fried Brie starter, Grilled Salmon, Beef Tenderloin, Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast are some good choices.
