   We had to wait 1 hour to get our food. Then for dessert there were only 2 choices on the menu: we ordered one, and it took them 15min to come back to us and say that this dessert was not available anymore... in brief, slow and bad service despite a nice atmosphere

   A new neighborhood favorite for date night! Romantic vibes, delicious food, good portions, great cocktails. Highly recommend--we'll be back!

   The kitchen doesn't open for dinner until 6 p.m. which makes it close to impossible to get to a 7:30 show.

   There was some sort of issue with our order. Had to wait roughly 80 minutes for our orders to arrive. We were given a free round of drinks w/out asking for them or complaining, which was a nice gesture. After the long wait, one order was good, other was below average. Overall not a good experience.

   Food was ok. Pancakes were a bit charred, but the portions were nice. The ambiance of the space was an interesting retro/desert vintage which was interesting. Credit card machine wasn't working so us card-payers had to walk a block to an atm in a bodega. That felt a bit awkward considering I was on a date.

   If aliens tried to recreate the 1950s and got almost all the details correct, that would be the decor here; kitschy but cool. The food was delicious and plate sizes were decent. The only thing I would change is the ventilation - smoke kept coming up the stairs from the kitchen and choking out the dining rooms. The staff opened the doors but was still very smoky while trying to eat.

   The restaurant is a bit hidden amongst some residential buildings but this is a nice little gem in the neighborhood. The monkfish is not to be missed and quite delicious as are the beets three ways. Reasonable prices and two for one drinks for happy hour on a Friday make this a nice stop after work. Service was a bit slow on drinks even though it was early and they weren't super crowded, but happy hour can do that. The charm of the staff makes up for any of that. Give it a try. Look forward to winter and enjoying the fireplace.

   Super yummy addition to Bed-Stuy. Great service, awesome eats, lovely atmosphere. 2 for 1 house red wines in honor of Prince (RIP). Beets Three Ways was fantastic. Followed by shared steak and monkfish osso bucco. Polished off with apple-sugar-cookie deliciousness. I'll definitely be back!
