Euno Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
It was our first time in Boston and wanted to find a nice Italian restaurant in he North End. It was a very romantic setting and I would recommend, although a little pricey. The Caesar salad was good, as well as the meatball special appetizer, but only 2 small meatballs, wish there was a couple more. We were split on our main course. The chicken dish we ordered, similar to chicken parm, was not great, seemed a little well done. However the gnocchi dish in a cream sauce with truffle oil was fantastic. I would definitely go back just for that.
Nice, little North-end Italian place with terrific pasta and solid service. Bolognese may or may not be the best in town, but it is very good. The Pappardelle with Parmesan cream sauce and prosciutto was way past very good, as in, yes, I wiped the bowl with my bread. Only drawback was a large table of large people with loud voices saying nothing intelligible for all to hear. What are you going to do? Food was great. A tatch pricey, but worth it. I would go back if given the opportunity.
A very charming restaurant on Salem Street in the North End. I took a friend there for a birthday celebration. The artichoke appetizer was excellent and our pasta dishes were delicious. The service could not have been better. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We had an amazing meal and will anxiously await a return. The artichoke appetizers was wonderful... and so beautifully presented. The buffalo mozzarella special with roasted tomato was wonderful as well. Our entrees were delicious - my husband had a veal chop with a sauce that was unbelievable. My gnocchi and mushrooms was delicious as well. And to top off the wonderful meal was impeccable service — made our meal and will definitely have us planning a return. Many thanks for a special evening out!
We had a lovely meal here. Very easy to get to and quite cozy. Beautiful decore, very clean restaurant.
Wait staff was friendly and attentive.
Downstairs function room has classic Italian decore.
I would definitely recommend this spot.
Menu might be considered by some to be limited
Understandably this was a busy night for boston... reservation for 830pm... we weren’t seated until 940pm. Food was excellent though. Wait staff was entertaining. Worth the wait, but had the weather been cold or rainy we would have left and gone somewhere else.
- We were seated early for our reservation, a plus.
- Our waiter was surly. They were busy, and understaffed. Still, no excuse for surliness. (e.g. didn't pour wine, just left it on the table, both times).
- We waited over an hour for our meals. They were very good, but 2 (of 5) were just 'warm'.
- We were comped $24 for 2 appetizers on our $300+ bill. It would have be a nicer gesture to comp one of our 2 $58 bottles of wine - especially since we ordered the second one because of our long wait.
This venue is intimate but also,has a room downstairs for larger groups...nice as it limited the noise in the upstairs dining room . The food on the menu was great, the nightly specials were amazing. I asked our server whom I believe was the owner...for a wine recommendation...I was looking for something from Italy that had a full bodied flavor. He recommended an Italian wine that was perfectly suited for what I had described....most importantly not the most expensive bottle on the wine list.
The next time I’m in Boston this will be a repeat visit.
This was my second experience at Euno. Although I really enjoy the atmosphere and the food is delicious, I remembered a much greater menu selection before. We each had pasta dishes and they everyone was happy with their selection. The caesar salad is a beautiful presentation and was wonderful; the calamari was tender and delicious too.
Love this place! It is always delicious and well worth the wait! Staff is wonderful and helpful. My favorite part was him telling us our dinners would be ready shortly...sorry for the wait...but it will be worth it.
It didn't bother us at all. We were having a great time and yes...it was SO worth it. Beyond delicious.
Cannot wait to go back!
My wife and I were in town on vacation. We sat next to the window at a two top, perhaps too close to our neighbors, but not that intrusive. Cocktails and an appetizer of homemade meatballs started our experience. When the food arrived it was so amazing I didn't think about the proximity of our neighbors. I had one of the specials, bone in pork chop, which was succulent and the roasted vegetables were delicious. Many restaurants can make a pork chop taste that good, however, what blew my mind was my wife's meal - the pappardelle panna and prosciutto. Perfectly cooked noodles and cream sauce that defies explanation. After dinner drinks and a small dessert made the 2.5 hour meal complete. Very relaxing and very full. When we return to Boston it will be difficult to try other restaurants as we had such a positive experience at Euno!
While the food was excellent, I was a little disappointed by the overall experience. I had indicated on my OpenTable reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday. There was no recognition of this at all - not from the host or the wait staff. I was also hoping for a nicer table, given the occasion. I'd definitely go back for the food, but not necessarily for a special occasion.
Difficult to choose a restaurant in the North End as there are so many choices!! We were attempting to secure a reservation for an hour later so were not able to pick our first choice but so glad we tried Euno Ristorante! It was a fabulous experience and we will definitely return. I gave a 4 star rating for value only because I felt it was pricier than a $$-$$$ rating.
The owner himself took care of each request, knowledgeable about wines, cheeses, and how each meal was prepared. Most importantly was the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect, not too noisy yet comfortable to have a conversation without being overheard. The service was respectful of the guest talking and not interrupting. Excellent choice!!
Would have rated zero stars if I could.
Short story: Have NEVER provided a 1 or 2 star Bad Review...
* Had Reservation and were told to come back. Tables full. No room to stand...?
* Seated later...Ignored...
* First wine unavailable.
* Second Wine given blatantly wrong vintage. Asked what the price would be...Same...Nice try. Really hate that; No scruples.
* Waiter said some things under his breath to guests.
Unanimous Agreement to stand up and leave.
Have never, ever left a restaurant in my life.
FAR TOO MANY GREAT ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE BOSTON NORTH END!
