Euno Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Difficult to choose a restaurant in the North End as there are so many choices!! We were attempting to secure a reservation for an hour later so were not able to pick our first choice but so glad we tried Euno Ristorante! It was a fabulous experience and we will definitely return. I gave a 4 star rating for value only because I felt it was pricier than a $$-$$$ rating.
The owner himself took care of each request, knowledgeable about wines, cheeses, and how each meal was prepared. Most importantly was the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect, not too noisy yet comfortable to have a conversation without being overheard. The service was respectful of the guest talking and not interrupting. Excellent choice!!
Would have rated zero stars if I could.
Short story: Have NEVER provided a 1 or 2 star Bad Review...
* Had Reservation and were told to come back. Tables full. No room to stand...?
* Seated later...Ignored...
* First wine unavailable.
* Second Wine given blatantly wrong vintage. Asked what the price would be...Same...Nice try. Really hate that; No scruples.
* Waiter said some things under his breath to guests.
Unanimous Agreement to stand up and leave.
Have never, ever left a restaurant in my life.
FAR TOO MANY GREAT ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE BOSTON NORTH END!
A North End Gem! With so many restaurants to choose from in the North End, it was hard to settle in on one choice. I ended up choosing Euno because of a combination of good reviews and their willingness to take OpenTable Gift Cards (which I had received through Dining Points). It's easy to miss this unassuming spot on Salem Street, but from the moment we sat down, our dinner was special.
We had a small table next to the window, which made for great people watching. Calamari is a staple of many Italian eateries and Euno's was definitely worthwhile; easily split between two or three people. For dinner, I ordered the Bolognese which of course had fresh pasta and a very hearty helping of osso bucco. My girlfriend got the Lobster Ravioli, which was also a large portion, but not overly so. Everything was flavored perfectly and the entire staff was attentive throughout the evening. From all the North End spots you have to choose, it would be hard to go wrong at Euno.
We love dining here. The food is always good and the service is excellent. I wish we could eat here more often but 100 miles for dinner is a bit excessive. The artichoke appetizer is fabulous. The special was lobster ravioli in a saffron cream sauce which was delicious.
Six of us middle-aged professionals went to celebrate our loved one's 59th birthday. The wine list is excellent for pairing with all meals, and the food is among the best in the North End.
We started with pretty much everything on the appetizer list, but substituted in the two specials, then shared it tapas-style. Not a crumb remained when our main courses arrived. While we may have been the loudest and most raucous of tables, silence ensued throughout the meal - silence with the exception of "mmmm"s and "oh my"s.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience - every part of it - and believe any Italian food lover, or foodies in general, will too.
Our dinner at Euno had a rocky start. Our party of 4 arrived at 7:00 pm for our reservation, but we weren't seated until 8:00 pm. There were a number of free tables upstairs, but we were told they needed to seat a large party of 20+ at 7:30 pm. As I had made the reservation weeks before, it was extremely frustrating that they couldn't accommodate us until one hour after our reservation time. It was clear they were prioritizing the larger party, because they knew they would make more money off of the large group. They were not apologetic, and even after we finally sat down at a table downstairs, we waited for about 15 minutes until someone was available to take our order. The food was fine -- certainly not the best I've had in the North End -- and it certainly wasn't good enough to make up for the poor time management and service issues. I also didn't like the atmosphere downstairs. It was a dark, stuffy basement, and it was extremely loud. There are many better options in the North End.
Pre concert dinner. We had great table by the window. Service was spot on, for appetizer we the Buratta with roasted tomato and basil olive oil. We split Cesar salad that was excellent. For entrées I had the special grilled whole fish, served with Clams Muscles over saffron risotto ,
She had veal medallions, also excellent.
I had the Teri Misu
Very pleased with everything.
Incredible! We had a fabulous time. Dinner prepared by Chef Clio was just amazing. ..fresh, simple and positively delicious. He was so gracious and couldn't do enough to make sure everything was perfect. Our server, K was awesome and attentive. All our dinners were scrumptious and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much !
Just moved to Avalon North Station in April and would highly recommend Euno. We go every time w have company in town. Not sure why people wait outside in long lines when u can make a reservation in advance and come here. Best quality food! Went out w all our cousins to best Restaurant in the North End! Food is excellent! Real Italian cooking feels like your in Italy. Very Authentic cuisine! A must go! Thumbs up to a fine and talented chef.
Euno Ristorante was an anomaly. Although the appetizers and dinners we had were very good, the restaurant was out of most items on the menu and all of our first choices. How can a restaurant in Boston be out of fish and shellfish? We had to settle for second and third choices and they were all delicious. The restaurant is lovely and peaceful and a good value. Just didn't understand how on a Thursday night they were out of so many things.
