The seasonally-inspired menus marry European influences with the ingredients and foodways of the Gulf Coast; items include a full raw bar featuring Royal Red Shrimp, Blue Crab, and oysters from the coasts of Louisiana and Texas; roasted seafood, such as Shellfish Stuffed Oysters; and more substantial dishes such as New Orleans Style Gumbo, Crispy Bandera Quail, Texas Redfish Courtbouillon, and Slow Roasted Cochon de Lait. Seasonal tarts, pies and house-spun ice creams complete the meal, and the restaurant boasts extensive beer and wine lists alongside a seasonally-curated cocktail menu.

Had some guests visiting from out of the country and wanted to share food from my home state with them. While Eunice isn’t exactly homestyle food, it’s a great representation of the best Louisiana has to offer. Delicious oysters and gumbo were just what we wanted on an unseasonably cool dreary day.
It was our first time at Eunice after hearing very good comments from our neighbors. We will definitely go again. The food was fabulous and our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Fun too. Having lived in Louisiana and spending lots of time there our entire lives, this restaurant measures up well. Great place.
I was taking someone special out to dinner for their birthday we had a wonderful dinner, and a wonderful experience. I look forward to going back for routine dining in the future.
We very much enjoyed the ambiance and the service. The food was wet good also.
Worst service I’ve ever experienced, period.
Excellent food and service
Excellent food and service. I have recommended the restaurant to my friends.
Each dish was extremely flavorful and better than the one before it, which was hard to imagine being possible. Two of us had shrimp and grits as our entrees and the flavorings were phenomenal. One of had the chicken ... "I think this is the best chicken I've ever eaten," she said. Our starters were the jalapeno duck poppers and the chicken liver mousse. If it would not have been so impolite, we would have licked those plates. Our dessert was the recommended bread pudding and it was delicious. The restaurant has a lovely design but it is very loud. That didn't bother me but it did bother one of our group who wears hearing aids. I will certainly be back.
After several dinners I still really enjoy eating here. Menu has something for everyone.
Greg our server was excellent! Manager greeted birthday party of 5 after dinner w a wonderful surprise! Food was excellent! Cocktails were strong and ambiance was perfect! It was wonderful for both of my sisters birthday celebration! Thank you Eunice! Outstanding!
A bit pricey but delicious lunch. I had the fried oyster salad. Great oysters. Great salad.
Food was amazing and service was fantastic!! We will for sure be back.
Always a pleasant experience...
One of the best in the city
Cocktails were not good. Ordered a dirty martini and a lemon drop, both tasted like straight vodka. Food was amazing tho! Would stay away from ordering any standard cocktails and just stick to a bottle of wine.
The food was great - we had the roasted oysters (delicious), the Cajun duck poppers (also delicious), the pork chop, and the shrimp and grits - all very good. The cocktails were great. Lots of wine on the wine list to choose from - we enjoyed our bourdeaux very much. Service was attentive. We will be back many times. Our new favorite.
Excellent ... my 99 year old mom felt like a Queen! Thank you!
After hearing rave reviews about Eunice, I was so disappointed with our dinner. Ambiance was great and servers were very welcoming so off to a good start. I personally thought the bread was a little on the hard side and was served cold, which was disappointing. I ordered a tuna appetizer, prepared sushi style, which was wonderful...highly recommend, but this is all I recommend. I was excited to order the drum prepared in an almond butter sauce, but our waiter highly recommended the Branzino, saying the flavor was superb and much more exciting than the drum. It is cut and served table-side which was fun, but that's where the fun ended. My portion of the fish had at least 7 small bones in it. This is after the waiter tells us the fish is boneless. I ended up swallowing one bone which ruined the night for me. I let him know there were several bones in the fish and he just made a face like "really?" He did ask if I wanted something else but the service had been slow and we were late for a show so that wasn't an option. One would think that an apology, a free dessert or removing the fish from the bill would be an option but none were offered. Not even an apology. I called him over and told him he needed to let the chef know there were bones in the fish so he would be more careful and he acted like he didn't hear me. On a side note, my son ordered the drum and said it was fantastic...should've gone with my gut! So maybe try again, but stay away from the $65 Branzino!!!
This is the 2nd time I’ve been to Eunice and once again, they did not disappoint. This is becoming to be one of my favorite places to go to while in Houston
Chef needs to allow the burger to sit for two minutes prior to putting on the bun. Juices will contain themselves instead of saturating the bread. No one enjoys eating a burger on wet bread.
Great dining experience from outdoor seating to the ambience of the interior space. You cannot go wrong at Eunice. The food and service are impeccable.
Food was excellent! Reminded me of a tapas concept restaurant. Order several dishes and share them.
The only con would be that if you are a party of two you will be seated too close to other people and you can hear their conversations.
Living in Houston you’re spoiled for choice but this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Beyond delicious.
Amazing experience! The food was superb as was the service. We were greeted with champagne for our anniversary.
Excellent evening experience. Great bar, friendly service, interesting menu selections and delicious food. Always a winner.
We've dined there twice. Home run both times. Will be a regular special spot.
Wonderful service and a great brunch menu to choose from, absolutely delicious!
The food and service was exceptional as always.❤️😬😬
Great for brunch!
From the valet I was impressed. Everyone greeted us warmly. The place is beautiful as you can sit and admire those magnificent trees. It’s open and bright. And to top it off the food and drinks were on point.
Dave was our server and was pleasant and fun, even updating us on the Astros score! We brought family visiting from Denver and they thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience!
Everything was amazing. We’ll definitely be back, but too bad our $13 dollar side dish that we deliberately left a good amount of for the sake of having it as left overs...was not also boxed for take away. It’s unfortunate, but it’s worth going back for the whole package. Best oysters and excellent service.
Exceptional service and knowledge of the menu our server was. The food was outstanding!
This has become one of my absolute favorites in town. Excellent food, DAVE at the bar is incredible! Scott was our waiter and he did an excellent job. The seafood platter is a must have- along with the tuna and crab. I like my shared plates with different types of bread- crostini and they are always delighted to accommodate.
Super cute restaurant in Upper Kirby. We stopped in to watch the Astros game and grab a quick dinner. The seafood platter and cornmeal oysters were superb and definitely worth it. We also had the Chicory salad which was very bitter and not my fave. Ended on a sweet note with the bread pudding with tons of caramel and ice cream yumm
Awesome experience, went above and beyond for a birthday celebration
I went there to celebrate someone’s birthday! I specifically asked them to make it special. When we walked in and confirmed our reservation, no one said Happy Birthday. Even after we were seated, the server never said anything. After bringing it to the attention of the host, they did everything to make it right. I ended up being very pleased!
This was our first time at Eunice. It more than lived up to its reputation. The food was really good and reasonably priced. I will go back.
Sunday brunch. Not a huge menu, but everything on it is good. Could have made a whole meal just out of appetizers.
