Awesome Birthday Dinner
Great brunch. Beautiful place
Really great space and inviting environment. Food wasn’t as good as expected.
We had dinner there last night. All in all a very good experience. We tried the quail, duck poppers and the burrata. There were all very good. I only the portion of the duck poppers was larger.
The shrimp and grits were amazing as well. Give Eunice a try. I think you will enjoy it.
Loved everything about this place!
The only feedback was that it was hard to find!
Went to Eunice last night to celebrate our 24th anniversary. We had reservations so the wait time was zero. I had the gumbo and my wife had the bbq lobster. Both dishes were delicious. The toast brought out with the bbq lobster was good but it was slightly burnt. We ordered a round of drinks and they were good as well. Our entrees were good but not great. My duck breast tasted good but the fig sauce didn’t quite resonate with my taste buds. My wife had the shrimp and grits. They were good, but again they didn’t stand out. I plan to give them another try to see if we just didn’t pick their best dishes. Dessert was on the house due to our anniversary (Thank you!!!). So we got the bread budding and it was tasty.
The food and ambiance definitely reflects the Nola and south Louisiana culture.
We made an early reservation. We arrived at 5:30pm, and we were promptly seated. An added benefit was Happy Hour, small plates and cocktails discounted. We ordered the duck poppers, tuna poke, and Da Da Shrimp. The first two were very good, the shrimp came out a little cool, it definitely sat around before getting to us. The tempura was hardening. Given our time constraints we didn't send it back. The waitstaff were excellent, with just the right amount of attentiveness. The cocktails were good, and the after work crowd was very active. If you have hearing difficulties the noise level maybe difficult for you, we have friends we could not take there due to the noise. Overall, it is another very good restaurant and well worth the visit.
We had a great time. The wine list is fantastic. We will be back for dinner soon!
Very good food, ambiance and service. It was my first time but I will be back. The shrimp with grits was amazing.
I decided to spend my birthday evening here because I’ve heard so many great things. The restaurant is beautiful especially at night. Very cute place for a date or something like that.
My 4 other girlfriends and myself arrived and ordered cocktails. Those were great but after we got them, that’s when we started seeing our server less and less. By the time he came back we kinda wanted to just skip appetizers and go straight to the main course but we decided to stick to what we wanted to order. A difference server brought out bread to us, by this time we’d finished our drinks and water. And so much more time passed and our server still hadn’t returned so we asked another young lady for more bread. I saw plenty of servers so I don’t believe they were short staffed or anything. But to be quite honest our server was just obviously more attentive to a different table full of guys with suits.
We put in the order for appetizers and main course at the same time. We finally got the appetizers which were delicious (Roasted Hearth Oysters) and then our server disappeared again. Not even to ask if we wanted another round of drinks. When we finally got our food I was kind of shocked because mine was only kind of warm. Don’t get me wrong, it was also delicious (crawfish etouffee). But how much better would it have been to have my Parmesan cheese melting into it instead of just stuck to my food? After he checked on us the first time, halfway through the main course, that’s when he decided to ask for another round of drinks. But we were kind of almost done with our food so I was the only one to order one. So all in all, food and ambiance was great but I wasn’t impressed by the service at all. And it was a Tuesday so I wasn’t really expecting that. Sorry that this is so wordy! Just kind of disappointed:(
We went during happy hour for 75 cent oysters. Followed fried quail, duck jalapeño poppers and roasted oysters. Everything was great.
We had a nice Valentine's brunch!
This establishment has Excellent food, ambiance and service.
Beautiful space and excellent ambiance.
friendly service, nice vibe.
gumbo with potato salad rocks!
Perfectly consistent! I loved every dish and cocktail!
Limited menu options on Valentine's night so we couldn't get what we really wanted to eat. Service was good, decor is beautiful.
Eunice had outstanding service. The food was incredible and I can say the same for the cocktails. Will be back again.
Quaint establishment with southern with creole twist. Best Raw bar I've experienced in Houston area.
Great oyster salad and good gumbo
Beautiful setting and décor. Delicious food. Friendly staff.
Perfect spot for Valentine's Day. Just elegant enough without being pretentious. Service was great, but what was really memorable for me was the chicken and sausage gumbo. It had a nice smokiness that took it to the next level. Probably the very best I've ever eaten!
Eunice is always a nice treat when friends are in town. Sidecar, sprouts, étouffée always for the win!
Food was great, very busy for week night so service was a little slow. However, the quality of the food made the wait worth it
This was our first visit to Eunice...and it definitely won't be the last. So many awesome choices. We had a bowl of gumbo and shrimp and grits. So delicious and authentic. Being from Lafayette, La, it was so good to get dishes like my mama used to make. It is a beautiful restaurant, service was impeccible. We'll definitely be back!
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb. This was our first time and we will definitely be back.
Absolutely superb food, and our Waitress was clearly “the best”.
Superb service. Fried oysters were outstanding and the branzino is definitely worth splurging for .
The food was out of this world, and the service was tremendous. Will definitely be back.
Great atmosphere and good food. Service was okay
First time dining at Eunice. There for a quick meal before the theater. All our food was delicious. Great seasonings and flavors.
Will definitely return to experience more Menu offerings.
Beautiful restaurant with lots of windows
Menu is small enough that everything is done very well
Excellent drinks and wine
Will continue to return
Fish dishes are excellent
Great food, good prices. The seating was not ideal for intimate conversation.
Overall it is a great place with a social atmosphere.
as always, one of our favorite venues for business lunch, happy hour or social engagement with friends.
Best restaurant in Houston
Ambiance was great, decor is distinctive, food was tasty! Definately on the list to go back to! Had the Dan Dan shrimp (nice light batter) and the Gumbo (WITH OKRA, YAY).
Great place and food was amazing! Went for birthday dinner and we were not disappointed!
