Food was good, but not as on point as prior visits. Service was underwhelming while not particularly busy.
Pork paddy was served raw and the waiter told me it was supposed to be that way. Yuck!
Dessert was good.
Casual with an energetic atmosphere. The service was top-notch. We arrived early for our reservation and were still seated immediately. Happy hour house wines are a great deal at $4/glass. We were there for Restaurant Week, and there were lots of choices in the $25/person special offerings. The "chip and dip" appetizer - duck confit my dining partner didn't like her Boomer Poutine as much (fries were limp, probably due to the gravy) . The entree (crispy chicken sando for me) didn't live up to description; it was too messy and had a strange flavor - and not so crispy. My dining partner fared better with the oyster po'boy. For dessert, the s'mores pot de creme was spectacular - and very rich; and the blackberry fool was a nice balance to finish off my dining partner's meal. Summing up: Great service, somewhat uneven meal.
We had a wonderful time, great food, amazing service, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Try the French Kiss, it will NOT disappoint! The pricing was great for what we got! We made it fun by trading food between the 4 of us so we could all try everything the table ordered! Thank you Euclid Hall for a GREAT TIME!
We always love Euclid. Eclectic food, awesome drinks, great vibe.
Amazing food and amazing service.
We have been to Euclid Hall several times. The sausages made in-house are one of our favorites, especially the one made from short ribs. The Chips and Dip are also awesome. Service just right.
One meal where the sausages were under cooked. Food was good other then that.
We were a party of six, and we were very well accommodated. The service was excellent and friendly, and the food was great, too. It was a perfect start to a hockey night at nearby Pepsi Center.
Air conditioning was full blast in winter. Service was indifferent at best. Portions were small. Poutine was concealed because it was so cold in the room. Not a good night.
Thank you for sharing with us, enabling our positive changes. I am sorry that your visit was negatively impacted by our sometimes drafty 100 year old building. We work hard to try to keep the restaurant comfortable for our guests. I have double checked our temperature settings to make sure our a/c is still turned off thru the winter and have our repair team coming out to check our vents; ensuring the cold air from the door is not pulling in more cold air.
I have loved Euclid for years, maybe it was an off night, but it was disappointing.
Fish sandwich was a bit fishy, brussel sprouts were under-seasoned and undercooked, boudin noir was mushy. People were eating dinner in their winter coats, it was so cold.
I hope it was a bad night and not a new norm.
I communicated to the manager these words. The drink selection was epic. The food was delicious (what I didn't say, but want to express now, was that I liked how the menu clearly labeled which menu items followed different dietary guidelines keto, vegetarian, gluten free, and others). The service was great. My main complaint was that our table wobbled worse than my wife did on her 21 birthday. The manager was receptive and expressed that she'd look into this concern 👍
Thank you again for the compliments and bringing our furniture fail to our attention. It was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks for posting a great review that made us also chuckle.
Great inventive food.
Beer is unusually expensive and the food was meh. I ordered fried pickles for $6 and I got three. Seriously, how is that a shareable app? Brussels sprouts $8 were also a tiny amount, sitting on a mushy, tasteless, strangely-textured muck. But I ate everything because they have super limited vegetarian options and I was hungry! Just can't recommend.
Before going to the theatre a group of us met for dinner. The beer selection was large, the wine list deep, and the whiskey plentiful. Pair all that with good food, some that I have never had before, and good wait staff for an enjoyable dinner.
Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your theater evening. We are very proud of our beverage selection and cuisine; it is an honor to know that you enjoyed. We look forward to sharing future visits with you.
Amazing food, everything was delicious.
Thank you, Jesse. Glad you enjoyed. We have lots of special events and new menu items coming up - we hope you will join us again soon.
We brought our out of town friends here for dinner, and it did not disappoint! Great food, great service, hip spot. Highly recommended!
Thank you, Foodie. Not only for the fantastic recommendation, but for letting us take care of you and your visitors. Glad to know you enjoyed the food and the service to match. Looking forward to having you as our guest again in the future.
I dined alone but never felt alone as the servers made frequent checks on me. I loved the Pigs ears and tongue sandwich! Thanks for the experience!
Jolene - thank you for sharing the kind words of your experience. We absolutely adore our guests and getting to share with them, whether they are dining in a duo, a group or a solo visit is what we take pride in. Please come back and see us soon.
Challenging for a group of 6 or more. Great cocktails and beer selection. Food service took a long time.
Do you really want to know my opinion? We were a group of 6 hoping to have a fun casual dinner. The service was very poor, the food took a very long time to come out and when it do it was cold, the portion sizes were very small, vegetables didn’t exist on the menu and we all agreed that is was overpriced. We will not be back.
Thank you for sharing feedback of your visit. I am sorry we did not meet expectations. I have shared your opinions with our culinary team, we are using the info to build a menu that has more options to provide a great experience for everyone who joins us. There is no excuse for poor service. We use the information you have shared as a teaching tool to build a more hospitable team. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to show you what Euclid Hall is known for and capable of.
Nice ambiance. Saturday night dinner time was busy. Food is off the beaten track, but good. Nice presentation.
Excellent food! Casual with interesting twists to common dishes. Definitely try this place!
No matter what, have the Chips and Dip which were absolutely sublime. Not your normal chips and dip but elevated with duck two ways, goat cheese and lemon as well as house made chips.
Also had the Brat burger which sounds pedestrian but was one of the best burgers of any kind I have ever eaten.
This place was just one culinary surprise after another and our server was amazing.
Took some friends here from out of town and everyone enjoyed their meal. Smaller menu for food but so many drink options. Just outside Larimer Square so not a bad walk from the convention center at all during good weather. Highly recommend the poutine options for an appetizer.
Love this place. Close to Pepsi Center for pregame food and drink. Service is great. Food is great. So much better than anything else closer.
Euclid Hall is a nice place itself, but the food is a poor selection, poorly prepared, poorly presented, and lacks flavor. I ordered a tomatoe bisque. It had bland flavor, was garnished with too many green onions which overpowered the soup, and was way overpriced for the tiny serving size. Someone ordered the ham brined pork chop which was way overbrined and tasted more like ham salt than pork chop. Several people ordered sausages which they enjoyed, but they were served on a white side plate with no garnish or any embellishments. The mustards were served on a separate plate which could have been displayed alongside the sausage for a more appealing presentation. My husbands tongue sandwich just looked unappealing and tasted the same.
All in all, a very disappointed first impression. For the money and all of the restaurant choices in this area, I would definitely recommend going elsewere. We would definitely not visit Euclid Hall again.
Pretty great for a sausage and beer hall, but a little too loud for conversation (especially prior to an Avos game!). Wait til after the puck drops if you need to talk, but then be sure to try all the sausages!
Food took forever to come (25 min??), and all we ordered were appetizers! We watched our food sit on the expo line forever before someone finally brought them up all at once, even though we requested to have the apps come as they were prepared. Brussels sprouts were terrible... tasted like someone just squirted some dollar store ceasar dressing over them and called it a day. They weren’t even crispy... I mean. The bone marrow would’ve been better had toast points been used instead of CRISPY PITA CHIPS (wtf??). The veggie poutine was cold and bland upon delivery, and then the desserts (especially the s’mores one) were so sweet we could actually taste - and feel - the actual sugar granules! Overall, a terrible experience. Our dinner full of apps and two desserts, took 1.5 hours. We will never be back, and up until this point I used to rave about you guys. Soooooo disappointing
The staff at Euclid are incredible. They were very attentive and went above and beyond to make our visit special. The food was delicious and SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! All around, great place.
Euclid Hall had a solid menu. The small plates and appetizers weren't as diverse as I wanted, many of them being fried foods and elevated pub dishes. The cocktails were interesting but again fell short for the price tag. This is a fun venue, you can watch the cooks and the staff is very accommodating and professional, a hybrid of the fine dining and local bar. Not necessarily the spot I would choose for an anniversary dinner, but maybe a birthday or work celebration.
We were sat at a table by the entrance that kept getting bumped every time someone went upstairs and a cold breeze kept us chilly when the main door opened. Disappointing table considering I wasn’t a walk-in and I made the reservation for 5pm a month before. Overall, first floor felt like a crowded bar. Food was incredibly rich, we ordered what was recommended to us. Duck chips were delicious, but add on a poutine and sausage and pickles and the meal was over the top. Terrible red wine options for those who don’t drink beer. Last winter when I dined there, in a table by a gorgeous window upstairs, they had more refined entrees (I still remember the lamb I ordered it was so delicious) and the ambiance was great. Just a totally different experience this year.
I've wanted to try this place for years and perhaps built it up in my mind, but was a little underwhelmed. The menu was limited, though I appreciate the care they put into the offerings. Food was tasty and good portion size, several things to share. Service was attentive and prompt. The place is fairly loud even without a full dining room and was dark. My eyes may be aging, but the lighting made the menu hard to read and my entree hard to eat (the hamachi collar requires some attention). I was also surprised that the bill was brought before clearing our plates or asking if we wanted dessert, we did, and at 8:30, the staff started putting chairs up on the tables. We felt very rushed to end our night. Good overall, but I don't think we will rush back.
Great food and service. We sat at the chefs counter and thoroughly enjoyed watching our chefs cook and chatting with them. I highly recommend Euclid Hall for tantalizing flavors and excellent customer service!
Nice decor and atmosphere but jumbled service. Food was pretty good. Drinks were good. Just an ok.
Great food, cozy table, fantastic beer selection. Only complaint was the waiter kind of forgot about us after our food was served and we had to track him down to get our bill so we could get to the Avs game on time.
I was very surprised by the small portions. I probably would not return
The Meh: Their menu must have changed recently from what is available on Open Table, as a number of things I was looking forward to were no longer on the menu (and the menu does not have a lot of variety). The service was acceptable but nothing to write home about - it was a little disjointed - the person who brought your drinks and food was never our actual server, and then our actual server did not check on the food/drinks as often as I would have expected.
The Good: What they do, they do well, - chips & dip, sausage, their variety of poutine.
We'll be back for apps/beer but won't try to make it a full dinner next time.
Me and the mister headed to LoDo for a dinner out. This wasn’t our fist trip here; we have been here a handful of times. I figured we might be out of luck, but OpenTable reservations were the way to go!
Their house made giardiniera had perfectly crunchy bits of carrots, cauliflower and shishito peppers! Mister had a lovingly made cheddar brat that came with four different mustards. He was a happy man!
I had the marrow bone with chimichurri and shaved shallots. The marrow was straight up money! I also had a sweet potato pie (tart-sized) that was absolutely divine.
Great food, right-size portions and a chill atmosphere make Euclid Hall a great place to go for reasonably priced food, done right!
These guys went above and beyond for a very special night. We came for laughs but the hospitality is the best!
