What Insiders Are Saying

The Infatuation

8.1
There aren’t a lot of spots where you can get oysters, pad thai pig ears, and short rib kielbasa. Thankfully, one of them is right here in downtown Denver.
Ratings 8.0-8.5:The best way to think about restaurants in the low to mid 8′s is that these are the places you would absolutely go back to, anytime. These restaurants are ones that you want to bring a friend to, just so they can also experience the duck carnitas, or burger, or whatever dish the place is known for.

Good food, nothing fancy. Very good service. The room was a tad cold and very noisy. More of a bar scene than fine dining. I would return though. The s’mores pot de creme was excellent!

Had a business dinner here. The food is excellent but it was quite noisy. I’d give a full 5 star rating if the noise had been tolerable but it was set up more as a sports bar. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the prices and portions were very reasonable. Excellent selection of beers and novelty gastropub food.

This felt a little to much "bar" for my preferences for lunch with my mom. Menu was too limited. Meal wasn't bad. Service wasn't bad. Just wasn't anything to write home about.

Good/creative food, good service, nice spot. One of the top restaurants in Denver at this price point. I went durring happy hour and we got 2 apps, 2 drinks and 2 entrees for under $50. The kind of quality they produce easily would have been 70-100 at another place.

Amazing food, some of the best we had while in Denver. Service was outstanding, she was super knowledgeable and friendly. Such a cool restaurant. The beer list was extensive and a lot of local brews. Overall a really great vibe and would go back whenever we come to the area again. Really blown away.

Outstanding beer selection, including many rare bottles. Although not a lot of variety in their entrees, what they had was done well. The service was polite and professional, but slow. We waited a considerable amount of time after being seated before being greeted.

Food was decent. Appetizers were interesting, but the tar tar was a bit tasteless, mussels were a little bland as well. Chicken and waffles were good but need more waffles. Overall good, and unique but needs a little more work.

Date lunch with my 12 year old son before Hamilton! He loved the food and atmosphere -- the exposed brick. I thought it was a tasty, original menu. Loved the lamb burger and green beans. My only disappointment was no dairy-free milk for my coffee. (First world problem!) Thank you!

I love the food at Euclid Hall; it's delicious, unusual and reasonably-priced. We came in with our two teens (20 & 17) before a show at the Bellco Theater. It was super-busy and loud on a crowded Saturday night, one of the first warm days/nights of spring. We told the waiter we needed to be out in 55 min and he made it happen. We are 50-ish now, so of course we found it a bit loud, but we were 1.) near the entrance, and 2.) near the bar. Their crafted cocktails are wonderful, and the location is excellent too. I would happily meet my husband or friend here for happy hour, or have a date night, but just ask for a quiet table upstairs. I'd say that considering the location, this place can cater to everyone, regardless of age.

We were in town for a work conference and lived exploring Denver. Euclid Hall was recommended by 2 bartenders, so we knew it had to be great. And it was! We had such a fantastic time trying the creative menu items and lovw the interesting history of the building & location. I would highly recommend!

Loved loved loved everything. Good and drinks were fantastic. My only small issue was dessert. We ordered the inside s’mores that I assumed would be served warm. The plate to the dessert was frozen cold.

Overall, lunch was good, thought that the portions were rather small and didn’t come with any side dishes nor were they suggested to us by the waitress. One of the lunch entrees was incorrect, so by the time the corrected order my lunch was cold. It wasn’t busy at that time, but although friendly and apologetic the waitress didn’t seem to be very focused on her job. Sorry, take this as a constructive criticism nothing more

Euclid Hall can best be described as a place where you can get a beer and get to wash it down with an ecclectic blend of food that, when individual plates are ordered, is best to share with everyone at the table. Although they have individual plates, we found it more fun ordering different items to pass amongst ourselves. Atmosphere was very energetic/loud so not really a good place for a date night. Large beer and wine menu to choose from.

After considering many restaurants for a holiday dinner with friends, we decided to go to Euclid Hall after dining there many times previously & enjoying it. It seems like the menu hasn’t changed since we’d been there 4 years ago! It was incredibly loud & we could barely hear each other across the table. My chicken and waffles was very overdone & boring. My friend had the special, which was a tomahawk pork chop and was too fatty to eat. My husband also found a baggy in the bathroom you could tell was drug paraphernalia. It seemed like this restaurant is just kind of stuck in a rut & with so many new places opening in Denver, we’re not eager to visit it again.

I booked a table for a business meeting because we were attending an event afterwards that was located close by. I'm not from Denver so I booked a table via OpenTable without having been there before. Later I also got a recommendation for Euclid Hall by a local contact so I was looking forward to the lunch.

I liked the food but I didn't like the atmosphere of the restaurant - it was a cold day and it was freezing inside Euclid Hall.

The food and drinks were amazing! Unfortunately, our server was less than enthusiastic. Bummer for him...our group is usually an easy upsell for any recommendations, shared plates, drinks, etc. I'd go back, but fingers crossed that I got a server who was actually interested in engaging.

Not a great place for families with small children and picky eaters. To be fair I would have known this if I had done more research. Very eclectic menu, if you are looking for a different experience. But wasn't really what we were expecting for a family dinner. My fault, not theirs.

While a touch on the noisy side, dinner here is a welcome night out and a fun alternative to a stuffy restaurant for a business meal. We had a small group of business associates who enjoy a fun night out.

Our service was fantastic, from the hostess to the food runners and our hard working server.

The good is creative yet accessible, with options for every palate. The beer selection is substantial. The pickles and sausages and mustards are made in-house - do not miss!

It's very fun to order a ton of items to share and split - though sadly we didn't have room for dessert.

Don't expect a quiet, white tablecloth, joint. But the service and food are fantastic. It's a must-do every time I'm in Denver, and it never disappoints.
