Ethos - Gallery Ratings and Reviews
Went for Valentine's Day with my wife and mother and we had a great time. Very friendly service in a lively environment, and the food is excellent! On the way out, they gave both women beautiful long stemmed red roses from a huge vase, it was a wonderful final touch. We will be back.
I've been to this restaurant multiple times. Their food is always great. But this time our server at lunch doesn't look too friendly, he doesn't have a single smile on his face and appeared to be not patient when I asked him two questions on lunch menu. I'll be back to this restaurant later but I hope this server no longer works there!
Ok place for our first time here. Very busy, crowded and noisy. White decor is a nice change. Appetizer of Greek salad was very nice for two. The eggplant Dinner was literally 50% onions, and disappointing. Sides of any kind are an extra $7, making most dinners in the $45-55 per person. The sea bass was fine, just not hot enough. Figure $455- $60 pp with one drink and a main course.
This place was hopping on a Saturday night. The fresh bronzino was outstanding, as was the eggplant/feta appetizer, panini-style grilled bread and hummus. They even gave me a 'free' dessert of a sweet bread pudding + chocolate mousse. This place is very noisy, but they play loud music and send a sparkler to a table with a celebration. It is a lot of fun.
Been coming here for many years. Prices have soared. Make sure u ask how much the specials are. We got blindsided by a $49 lamb shank.
Also servers look to upsell. I wanted the lamb chops. They recommended the veal chop for $6 more. Only no one said the veal chop was 4 small, scrawny chops. I even thought they made a mistake and gave me the lamb chops by mistake.
One of my favorite Greek Restaurants. Has all the quality of any of the very fancy places without the snobby attitude. Great service and great food. Had the White Snapper and was over the top. My son had the Veal Chop and was licking the bone. Highly recommend this place.
Love going to Ethos with a big group. We end up just ordering tons of small plates to share. I am gluten free and the waitstaff is always knowledgeable and helpful about what is GF. Although not a restaurant for kids, the staff is incredibly kind to kids! Highly recommend for birthdays--they will play music and bring out sparklers.
We had to wait a few minutes for a table even with a late reservation. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. They play loud Greek music for the many birthdays being celebrated here. But that just adds to the party atmosphere...and the noise! Expect it to be loud. But the food was great and the servers are authentic. There are also quite a few tables where couples can sit side by side making the restaurant great for dates.
I have been dying to try this place for 2 years or so- I wish I had stepped in sooner! Food was great, as was the service. Happy to have found this place! Small, separate bar area allows for a quick drink and bite, or you can sit down and enjoy dinner in the dining area. Staff was extremely attentive and they provided a dessert on the house. Will definitely be back.
One of my go-to places for work functions or when visitors are in Town. The Food never disappoints. I need to find out the name of one of the servers who is consistently grumpy, or comes across that way. Either that, or avoid his section.
My favorites are the seafood, the Ethos speciality. The seseme crusted Tuna and the Langoustines. Notable amongst lots of good choices.
PASS ON THIS!!!!!!I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and food was great! Not sure what happened lately because my experience was just HORRIFIC, I wish I can give it 0 stars. If the food is worth it, I am willing to pay - however to pay $700 for COLD dishes, hair on dishes and RUDE staff is completely Embarrassing.
I called over 10 times to speak to a manager and left voicemails all I keep getting is either no reply or a waiter saying there is no manager here today. Least you can do for a person that paid $700 is callback and say SORRY- callbacks are free.
