It was me and my wife’s first time ever and we were both so excited for the ambience and atmosphere we also enjoyed the quality of the freshness of the food and we can’t wait to revisit to try more of the food. We highly recommend this place for anyone interested in fresh authentic Creole food.

The service was great and welcoming. Ordered the crab dip and was not a fan, it was more like crab soup. Not the consistency of crab dip at all. The honey chipotle salmon had pretty good flavor but the rice was bland. The Nola chicken was average, the mashed potatoes had no flavor but the sauce on the chicken had some flavor. Overall I wasn’t too impressed by the dishes. The wine we had was very good.

Ed’s menu has expanded- we’ve been dining with chef Ed Bloom for almost 35 years. He has recently expanded the menu slightly and the addition of the Hot Cat Stack (catfish fillets) with spicy crawfish in a red pepper meunière was outstanding! If you live anywhere within 30 miles of Mt. Washington village on the city/county line, it’s a laid back dining experience not found anywhere else in central Maryland!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The spicy crawfish dip is enough for a whole meal and it is absolutely knock your socks off delicious. Pair that with a couple of Sazerac‘s and you have the best Saturday night. Do not miss this place.
